I just wanted to share with everyone something that happened to my yesterday at the All Star Sports. DM and I had checked in our bags around 7:00 am for storage. We were not schedule to be picked up until 4 that afternoon and I wanted to head out to the DAK. Have done this before with no problem at all. Well to say the least this was not a good thing for me this time. When I went back at 3:00 to pickup our bags, DM was not there. The cast members working the area were not helpful at all. At 3:40 the CM looking for the bag asked me to come into the room to see if I could find the bag...which and did and guess what the bag was not there. I told the CM that our driver was going to be there shortly and we really needed that bag because DM had meds in there that she needed to take in a few hours. The CM did not seem to really care at all. I kept asking them questions and they acted like it was not a big deal at all...I keep expressing to them about the meds, but they really didn't care. Finally at 3:50 they started to look at other locations, but were not having any luck - at this point the driver had showed up from Tiffany Town Car (they were awesome). We still had not bag, not sure what to do at this point...do we stay or do we leave. As DM and I were talking her cell phone rang. There was a man on the phone that told DM that he had her bag and was at the airport. To find out the CMs at the hotel had given the guy the wrong bag. When CM was told they said well I didn't do it, but you have your bag now so it is not a big deal. When I asked to speak a manager they were very upset that I to the manager.
I have been playing phone tag with the manager yesterday and today. All I want them to do is talk with the staff about responsiblity and how important it is to make sure the right guest gets the right bag. Come to find out there were a total of 5 bags missplaced at the hotel that day. So if you are checking your bags to be picked up later just be careful.
