I saw on here some reccomendations for rooms but can't remember what they were. I want to be close to food and busses. I don't care about noise or views.

Should I call the hotel itself or reservations and when should I do this? I'm so excited and can't wait!!

Did you reserve a preferred room or a standard room? The closest rooms to Stadium Hall are in the preferred section- Surf's Up!- but they have a $12.00 surcharge. The closest standard rooms to Stadium Hall are in Touchdown!.You can call and have a request noted on your reservation, but I have never had any results doing this. The best thing to do is to make your request when you check-in at the resort.Be VERY nice and tell them you don't want to be any trouble, but if they happen to have something close to Stadium Hall that would be terrific.I have had great success using this approach. Most of the time the Cast Member has called the Room Assigner and did their best to fill my request. If the Cast Member says they can.t meet your request, you can still call the Front Desk from your assigned room and ask again-sometimes a different Cast Member may try harder to fill your request-I have had success calling from my room to the Front Desk.I am So excited for you-WDW is AWESOME!:)

Thank you.

No I didn't pay for preferred. Which one do you reccomend, there are 2 touchdown buildings right??

Yes,there are two Touchdown! buildings-Building #7 and Building #10.Building #10 might be best especially if you can get a room on the side opposite from the football field. From this side it is really convenient to access the bus stops without even going through Stadium Hall. The main thing is to get a room in either building as close to the end of the buildings facing Stadium Hall as possible.Since this is your first stay at All-Star Sports,I highly recommend that BEFORE you check in you take a few minutes and walk around the resort and this will REALLY help you decide what kind of room request you want to make when you check in.If you have bags with you, just check them with luggage assistance located just outside the main door to the resort and then you won't have to lug them around as you walk around the resort. After you check-in,you can either go back and get them yourself or they will automatically be taken to your room later.:)

When we stayed there 10 years ago, w stayed right by the pool and close to the front hall and bus area. It was noisy or anything, but nice and close to things.

We stayed in building 7 a couple of weeks ago and we liked that location.

We stayed in the Surf's up building, it was an upgrade in the CM's opinion for booking soooo early. It was the perfect location for us, not far from the Food Court and the busses. We were very happy!!!

last year i stayed at touchdown building 10 facing the scrimmage courtyard. kids like to play football/run wild in this area and it can be quite noisy, but i found the noise level tolerable when inside the room. if you prefer not to see screaming children when walking outside, i may suggest requesting a room on the opposite side facing the road/parking. touchdown is a hop, skip and jump away from stadium hall and the bus stop (<5 minute walk). enjoy your trip!

I'm staying in December and that's the one I want to get, if possible. Building 7 has been recently renovated; so, the rooms are very nice. Building 10 is not done yet. Also, they are turning most of building 10 to family suites when they renovate; so, they won't be available as standard rooms anymore.

You'll get a map to show room location. If you look good on the map you'll see how close you are to food and buses. Please understand almost everyone has the same request as you; so, you may not get as good of a location as you want there. As stated, you can try again for a better location, if you are willing to change again.

Have a second choice that's more reasonable; so, you won't be too far away.:thumbsup2
