All Star Resort

We just booked our 7 night vacation at Disney All Star Movies . I would love any information anyone has to share on this resort. We have two sons one will be 4 and the other 2 .

How are the bus lines ; do you wait forever ? I've heard the value resorts share busses. Is that true? Is this resort far from the parks?

All Star Movies will be wonderful for your children. The Disney movie themeing should be a big hit with them. The resort layout is such that there isn't a real long walk from anywhere. The bus service is actually pretty good, they do share buses but with three resorts there they come quite often. They only long trip on a bus is MK but that is true of many resorts. When you return from the parks there is one pick up for all stars so all three resorts share the buses, but there is rarely a long wait. I hope you and your children have a great time. I've stayed at Movies and Music and preferred Movies..

We went for labor day weekend (Sept. 3 - 8) and stayed at All-Star Music. Only time we waited for more than 10 minutes for a bus was after Wishes and Illuminations. Other than that we did not have long waits for the buses and loved the transporation right to the entrance of the parks. Took us about 10 minutes to get to Epcot or MGM and about 20 minutes to MK. Without having to take a ferry or monorail to get to any of the parks in addition to this is great. A trick we heard on our bus was that many of the All-Star Movies actually took the bus back with All-Star Music because their room was acutally closer to the All-Star Music bus stop...
