Hi we (DH, DD 4, & DS 2) are going for 5 days at the end of June. I was only able to get CRT ressies for June 24th which was orginally our arrival date we have know changed our schedule to arrive late afternoon on the 23rd. We have reservation at POR starting on the 24th and can't check in earlier because we have a flordia rate with MIL and BF who are not arriving till the 24th.

I can get the $74.00 rate @ asm or *** or about a $50.00 rate off site. I think we will probably be arriving around 4:00-5:00pm. So we should have a chance to use the pool either before or after dinner. We are driving so I would just take one bag into the hotel and not worry about unpacking and transfering bags. Our CRT PS is 9:15 so we don't have to be at the parks super early.

What do you think worth the extra $24.00 to stay on site?

I guess I would look at it this way - in the overall scheme of things for a 5 - 6 day stay $24.00 is not going to make a big difference either way. So it comes down to when you want to enter the magic?

If you stay at ASMo or ASSp you can use Disney transprotation to MK for you PS and relax and enjoy the morning before heading back and moving to POR.

Have a great vacation.

I think it is worth it to stay on-site! AllStar Music themeing is wonoderful and you will enjoy the pool in the evening. Your kids will get a kick out of staying at two different themed resorts.

Have a great time!

For me it wouldn't be an option - I would have to go to the All Stars. It would be too much of a tease to stay off site, knowing I'm going to be there the next day.

I debated this too, but we're not getting into MCO until 8:10pm and that's if we arrive on time....this is after a working until 3:00 then the flight. I figure we'll be tired and just want to crash somewhere. I ended up reserving a room at the Hampton Inn right by the airport for our first night...it's only $49. If I were arriving as early as you are, I'd go with the All Stars.
