I would post the same question of the Orlando and Attactions board you will get a total different opionion on staying offsite and onsite.

They will point out the benfits off staying offsite for you.

Eating offsite to save money.

Getting larger accomadtions for a cheaper prices.

Since you is miltary I would check the Arms Forces Savings Network and get a week for 249.00 for 7 days at offsite place that would save tons of money. Here the website to check it out

Also check with the hotels in Orlando for miltary rates they is always cheaper rates.

The Arms Forces Saving Network has all the rules and regulations and do not have to be active miltary either.
