All Star Music

Okay we are sadly addicted. We just got back from a whirlwind weekend last Sunday and have already made plans for a return either 1/23/02 or 1/30/02. We stayed at All Star Movies for the very first time (we typically stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge for longer trips and have just purchased DVC too). We liked All Star Movies for a quick trip. The room was pleasant and the price was right!

Anyway, Movies is not an option if we decide to go on 1/23. Music and Sports are both available. I've read that adults tend to prefer Music over the other two so I will probably select it. Question--any suggestions on location? I always like to fax a request and hope for the best!

I have stayed in the Country Fair section. If you like seclusion then go with it. If you want to be next to the pool and near Melody Hall and the bus stop, pick Calypso. Calypso rooms are preferred views too, so they are more expensive. I liked the Country Fair. I didn't mind the walk at all. Hope this helps!! Enjoy!!

Jazz is good, close to pool and food court but you don't have to pay extra.

Just noticed you were from over in Dallas and had to respond since I'm in Fort Worth. My mom and I will be at AS Music Feb 1st-6th. I've stayed once at Movies, but not ever at Music. We requested 3rd floor in the Broadway or Jazz section. Maybe we'll see you there.

skporter-nice to hear from a fellow Texan! Of course, I'm beginning to think we need to transplant to WDW!!!!! Actually, if we end up going on the weekend of Feb 1, then we are booked in the All Star Movies. Nevertheless, have tons of fun and ya never know, our paths just might cross!!!!
