I am staying here in December with some of my friends... I wanted to know what the pool was all about and if there is a hot tub.

Anything else you could tell me would be good too. Even a link or something.

The main pool is themed "Fantasia" with sorcerer Mickey. Water does shoot from his wand over an area of the pool. There is also a quiet pool by the Mighty Ducks area. There are no hot tubs at the resort. There is a small outdoor bar near the main pool area. My son and I have stayed here a couple of times....it is his favorite of the All Stars. We thought the food court was excellent, the cooks behind the counters were very accomodating with some special food requests. It has a fun and relaxed atmosphere...I am sure you and your friends will enjoy your stay here.

My family and I stayed there a few months ago and loved it. You can do search on google or msn and get some sites to the hotel. Thats what I did.

You know......I do believe.......as a guest staying on property......you can use the aneminities (sorry I am a terrible speller) of the other resorts.....

chewooki-You better watch out. Hehe. Some people on these boards are very sensitive to pool hopping! I think some of them think it is a sin or something.

Actually, unfortunately you can't pool-hop at WDW. It's against the rules. I believe that DVC members can, but I may be wrong about that as well.

So Steve, looks like your hot shower will have to suffice, sorry.

haha thats ok, even if it was allowed my Director would not let us pool hop.. To much of a chance for those who are not Disney experts and know every road on the property would get lost.

I do remember trying to get into Storm Along Bay one trip and all the pool gates there i think had key card entry only lock deals.

yeah actually i am!

Im going with my Marching Band. We are playing a parade on Main Street and then one at Islands of Adventure.

We have done the Magic Music Days before. My sister went back in 95.

I loved Magic Music Days. Are you guys driving or flying? We took a bus and that was part of the good time that we had.

My sister is in marching band now and the new band director won't take them to Disney. She's nasty and she says "I'm not friends with the mouse." My sister is so disappointed.

Haha Who isnt friends with the mouse??? Come on now!

We are flying down. In 95 we took some coachs. She said that she would NEVER drive down again! So we are dividing the band in half and taking 2 seperate flights.

I cant believe that we are actually going down main street! This is a very exciting thing for me. What better way is it to end my senior year in drum-line than with mickey!!


What did you play when you were in Band?

I played drums and my senior year I was the drum major. One year we marched in the Spectromagic parade and that was cool but my senior year, we marched in the daytime parade but leading the parade down Main Street was such an experience!

How long are you guys going for? And I don't know if your band director does this but my director taped the door at night so he would know if we snuck out.

not long at all... we leave the 28th and come back the 2nd.

Our director has some tricks to see what we do at night... she did the tape thing and sometimes she walks the halls and listens in on our doors.

Spectromagic thats pretty cool. I cant wait to go. I wrote a new cadence to play down there. The thought that my music will be played down in Disney. Thats just amazing! I get to lead my section in Disney. I cant wait. Its going to be such an awesome trip.

Have fun marching down Main Street! It is an experience not to be missed although my daughter warns that it goes too fast! I watched my daughter's band march in February. It was goose-bumpy!!!!!!!!! I love Magic Music Days!!!!!

Yeah my sister has done it before... although it may be short the memories will last a lifetime!! She still talks about all the things that happened when she went. I cant wait!! Oh my god im so excited!!
