I need everyones onipion,
We are planning a trip for early December and thinking of staying at ASM,
we have stayed at All Star Sports and had great bus service (actually much better than POR) but after some research the thought of being the third stop and having a potentially full bus everytime you enter is concerning. So whats everyones experience? Are the buses at Movies that bad/full? We had also considered POP for the buses?
TIA

We were there last October. In the morning ASM had its own buses. It was only coming home at night that the buses were shared. We never found the buses to be too crowded.

I found the bus service at POP to be much worse. There were always lines at the the resort stop and the buses were always packed like sardines.

I'm here now-- that was a problem tonight getting to DD, but I'm in a Mighty Ducks room and am really close to the Music bus stop--so I go there. Everything is super busy here right now, so it may just be timing. The resort is great!

In March, sometimes we shared, sometimes we didn't. In the mornings the buses were empty on arrival, no sharing. Mid afternoon they were sharing but were never at capacity. In 5 days I remember a full bus twice...once at closing from MK (dedicated bus, no sharing) and once mid day when there was an issue and we waited 35 minutes for a bus to MK. Overall, we found the bus service to be just fine.

Now, Magical Express was another story, but there are always variables with that. Our flight arrived around 7:30 pm and were the FIFTH stop. Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Sports, Music, then Movies. It was a LONG ride.

If you go the first full week in December, Pop Warner championships are happening and they will fill one of the value resorts; usually AllStarSports, but there could be overflow to other sections. Since most of them are traveling with funds from fund raising, many of them stay at the value level.

For instance, some years when POR is the moderate, they have had to use POFQ as overflow.

As another person said, depending where your room is in the resort you could always walk over to Music and catch the bus. We were in the Mighty Ducks section and Music's stop was much closer to our room than the Movie stop.

I have stayed at ASMovies in mid-July and a few days before Christmas. I have never had a problem with the bus service.

I learned this towards the end of my stay...the Mighty Ducks section is way closer to the Music bus stop and food court for that matter. It also has its own pool area, my 11 year old LOVED this. The pool was right outside our room as was the walkway to cross the little street to Music. I was thinking of upgrading to preferred next trip but after learning this, why spend the extra money??

We had no problems with the buses at AS Movies in October 2010. The buses in early/mid Dec. 2011 at Pop Century were awful. Always crowded and had to wait really long times between them.

I was just there a few weeks ago and I didn't find the busses to be too crowded. A lot of the time, we'd get our own bus to and from the parks. I think there were a few times that we had a shared bus with the other All-Star resorts.
