All Star Movies

Any tips on where to stay at All Star Movies??? I think we have Fantasia building?? What can I expect from there???? Also can we use mugs from our trip last year to All Star Music?

HI DISNEYWITHDAUGHTERS and neighbor!

We've stayed in both Fantasia buildings and love them. They are close enough to the busses and food court but not too close. They are also closer to the pool. If you want to get a quieter room request a 'quiet room'. You will get a room not facing the pool but on the other side of the building. I think the classic Fantasia building is more fun, it has a big Sorceror Mickey hat. (Fantasia 5) The other Fantasia (8) has a big evil looking jack-in-the-box and ballerina.

I don't know about the mugs.You can probably use them if they just say All Stars on them but not mention any hotel like Movies.

We stayed in the Woody building of the Toy Story section. We really liked it there. It was close to the pool and the main building. And yes you can use your old All-Star mugs as long as you use it at an All Star resort. Have fun on your trip

We stayed in Fantasia (building 8, in the very back closest to the parking lot) this past New Year's weekend. We really liked it. It was quiet and we actually were able to get to the van so quickly, we could keep some of our extra stuff in it without a hassle. I have never stayed in the Toy Story building, but I am not sure that I would want to. The main reason that people like the Toy Story buildings is the playground, ie Andy's Room. We loved playing in it, but much like the Football Field at the All Star Sports, do not want to be. We were once and it was noisy in the evenings and mornings.

We use our AASp mugs at all the All Stars.

We stayed in the Fantasia building and LOVED it!Of copurse,this was before they charged for "preferred" buildings,but I would still pay for it I think.I just liked the convenience of being close to everything.

If you have girls,you'll be all set in either Fantasia building,but we have 2 boys and they were freaking out that they would have to stay in a pink building with ballerinas on it .It all turned out fine as we got the Sorcerer Mickey building that we had requested

Hello DISNEYWITHDAUGHTERS-
On our last visit to ASMo we were given room 7912 in Toy Story. It was a ground floor room near the pooland playground area. It was great because about 25 feet from the door was a smaller parking lot that always had open spaces. It was so easy to carry our kids to the room after a LOOONG day at the parks.
