All Star Movies?

We are staying at the Poly for the majority of our stay but we are doing one night only (arrival day) at the All Star Movies. I have never even seen the All Star resorts in person. In the past we usually stay off property on arrival night but for the price, we might as well stay on site. My questions are...is it possible to request a specific building (my dd loves toy story) and are the rooms themed to that same movie or just the outside of the building? also...where is the food court located?

Hi I will be at the all star movies the first week of December. I have never stayed onsite. I requested the 101 dalmations building. She said she would put that in my notes. If I cry beg and plead I may get what I want I also called and added another night.

I have stayed at AS Movies about three times in last year and a half. Each time the rooms were great - clean, not worn and a short walk to the food court. Movies recently refurbished the pool. I am a DVC member and would stay at ASM again if I wasn't staying at a DVC resort.

Princess Michelle is right. You can request a building, but its a request. They do their best to honor them. Might be helpful to mention that its dd's favorite movie. You know Disney...

Keep in mind, however, that Toy Story rooms are "preferred" b/c they are closer to the main building. So, this means they are approx., $10 more a night, and your request probably won't matter if you haven't paid for a preferred room.

(I just upgraded to preferred so I could request Toy Story... DS LOVES the movie... at 2 1/2, its the only 2 movies he'll sit through.)

Never stayed on Disney prop before and SO looking forward to it.
