Which one seems to have better bus transportation. I know they share buses but Movies is the last stop right? Does this mean longer drive time and less chances for a seat or is there really no difference?

Movies is the last one dropped off and picked up. However, they don't always share buses, we have stayed at all three of the resorts and didn't share buses that often, maybe we lucked out. Drive time, its about one minute between resorts, they are all right next to each other, in some areas of each resort you are closer to one of the other main pool areas as an example. They are really just joined together. If you have little kids, the theming/icons at Movies is perfect. However, Music has been recently refurbed so their rooms are going to be a bit fresher. I think Music has the nicest grounds of the All Stars.

If you will be wanting to sit on the bus for sure, I would go with Music. But bear in mind, that at night when they share, they pick up from the same que at the parks. So in that sense, coming back to the resort, you might still be standing if you are far back in the line. In the mornings however, it would be nice to know your stop is the first of three. But again, they don't always share, especially during the peak times of the day and night, when they need to be transporting a lot of people at the same time.

Sports & Movies share while Music has it's own busses. We just got back a couple weeks ago from staying at the Music and we never shared once. Besides, the Music is way better than the other resorts ;)

When I stayed at ASMo three years ago, Movies was picked up first going to the parks, and dropped off last from the parks.

I am happy to hear you never had to share a bus at Music during your stay.:thumbsup2

Last September(2006) our Music bus only went on to pick up at guests at All Star Movies 1 time.(on the way to Epcot)
That was because our bus was less than half full since a bus has left for Epcot just a couple of miniutes before that bus pulled up.

Bus rides are quite short from the ALL Stars according to PassPorter.com

All Star Buses-CBR buses---POPbuses--PO buses--- Contemporary
MK 20 min---- 20 min-----25 min------10 min---20 min(mono)
Epcot 10 min-- 15 min-----20 min------10 min---15 min
MGM 10 min----12 min-----15 min------15 min---20min
AK 10 min------20min-------15 min----15 min---20 min
DTD 15 min----20 min------20 min-----15 min---35 min

It only takes 10 minutes to get to Epcot, MGM and AK from All Stars.
MK is 20 min away. That's the same amount of time it takes on the monorail from the Contemporary.

A WORD ABOUT BUS SHARING

To me Bus Sharing at the All Stars is really a non issue.

In the mornings during Park opening hours each All Star usually has a dedicated bus.
During mid day it is usually just our stop and maybe one more on the way to the parks. On the way back sometimes it is all 3 but often Sports and Music share and Movies has it's own bus back. Each of the All Stars usually has it's own dedicated bus back from the MK.
That is a big plus. It seems like the Music bus stop usually has the shortest of the three All Star bus lines.

I guess some people who stay at POP see all 3 All Star names on the return sign of our bus stop when they head to the POP bus stop and think All Stars also has 3 stops on the way to the park.
(Even when we stop at another AS resort to load up it has not taken more than 5 minutes and we are on our way!)
