All Star Movies or Music for Jan 2019?

Dropping off DD for Disney College Program. My understanding is that these resorts are basically neighbors to one another. Any reason to pick one over the other? Will be getting standard view room at either resort, if that matters.

I would just go with whatever theme you like best.

Movies does have a better Food Court IMO,but if you stay at Music,it is a short walk over to Movies.

If you pick Movies,I would suggest requesting "Mighty Ducks"-it is Standard and has its "own" Pool and Laundry and is a ONE MINUTE walk from Music!

Music offers family suites while the other two do not. Movies is almost done with their room upgrades, music will be next year. Music is in the middle of the three so you can go from one resort to the other to check out pools, food courts, movies under the stars if you cared to. Music has 1604 rooms while the other two have 1920 each. Could mean more people at the food court in the morning or more in the pools at night. They are all three basically the Same. I personnaly stay at Music every year and have done so for 9 years.

I would go with movies just for the refurbished rooms.

Movies = under renovation and maybe a new room.

Music = NO, especially not a standard room. Music is laid out like no other with main hub at one end and standard at other end. Other issues for me as well and ... I'll stay offsite before I ever book Music again.
