How are the beds at ASMo? I know being a "value" they probably won't be top of the line, but the thought of a uncomfy bed for a week concerns me. I have stayed in hotels before (not Disney) that were terrible...that is ok for a night or two...but a week??? Also, do they have queens or fulls?

Alas, all Disney beds at the values are "double beds." And, they do not allow rollaways. If your kids are older, it sure can make for a crowded stay.

The beds at the Movies were just fine. I found them to be comfortable. But they aren't queen beds.

As for my 14 year old son, he chose to sleep on the floor all week. I'm sure that was VERY uncomfortable, but it was his choice. Didn't want to bunk with Dad, so little sister was content to either have a bed to herself, or to sleep with Mom.

DS will be 11 and DD will be 9. They aren't toddlers, but they aren't "big" either....I guess we could always each sleep with a kid. Thanks!

To be honest, I was too tired at the end of each day to care what the bed felt like. I fell asleep within minutes.

The only thing that hurt in the mornings were my feet, but that was just from all the walking! :)

We are two big adults and an 7 yr. old, and a 14 yr. old, we took a blow up bed for the teen and the little one slept with daddy because she's a daddy's girl, so I got the bed to myself. Yeaaaa! You can adjust the room around with the table and chairs and make room for the blow up and have more sleeping comfort that way. Trust me it pays off! Someone tried to say that there was no way to have a twin blow up bed in the room at the POP let alone a full sized one. Well I'm here to tell you, it's not only possible, but wasn't a problem at all! We had a full sized one in there and it was fine! Yes the room was a little cramped, but it wasn't blown up when we all would be walking around anyway. That's the beauty of a blow up bed, it can be deflated! :woohoo:

We took a twin air mattress on our last trip and it really does fit! DS (14) slept on it all week...which gave my daughter the other bed. We stood it up against the wall during the day, so that mousekeeping could clean the room. It was great! As for the comfortablility factor on the beds...they are fine. We have stayed for eight nights and slept with no problem...:goodvibes

This is exactly what we are planning on doing for our upcoming trip to POP, my question is if you are flying, how do you pack the bed? Do you just ship it like a suitcase as checked luggage with the Magical Express tag attached? Glad to hear from someone who has actually used the bed in the rooms and it is in fact "do-able".

Yes! Quiet do-able.:) We just put it into another suitcase, we packed a big suit case that was just
for the bed, but then used the extra room for souvies when we returned, it worked out great! My ds14 was thrilled knowing that he had his own bed to sleep on, the only part I didn't like about it was the noise that came from the bed with him moving around. LOL But he didn't move for long, everyone usually passes out from exhaustion. ;) Just like the previous poster said, it's great because you can stand up the bed against the wall in the morning when you need to get around, we usually put it away everyday just so the room didn't seem so overwhelming, I have a visual thing about certain clutter, I don't need the room to be tidy, just certain things get to me, don't ask. LOL
Oh, as for how we did it, all you need to do is take the table and place it on the other side of the entertainment center, make sure you butt it up against the side of the entertainment center and then you'll have room to put some of your luggage on the other side of the table, we had to stack ours. There will be a very small wall coming out to sorta give a seperation from the sink area to the room, this small wall will have the wall safe on the opposite side of what I'm talking about, you'll place the table between this wall and the entertainment center. We put one chair at the table so my daughter could sit there to eat breakfast in the morning and put the other chair next to the bed near the bathroom wall, it works well! There is plenty of room for your suitcases if you just look at all the extra room around the room, there's room under the sink for your smaller bags, and next to the sink counter there is a space that comes in handy, and of course over the closet area is lots of space. Have a wonderful time!

We moved the table under the window, right in the corner...with a chair on the door side and another on the bed side. The kids were still able to eat breakfast. Then the mattress fit in between that corner and the entertainment center. One suitcase fit on the other side of the entertainment center, on the floor. During the day, we zipped that one up and set the air mattress on top of that suitcase, and vertical up against that wall. We moved the table back to the original position.
Two other suitcases were placed in between the bed and the wall...the last suitcase was put underneath the rod for hanging clothes.
We drive, so we utilize all the drawers for our breakfast items and snack items. While it is a small space, we weren't tripping over things during the week...and we really spend very little time in the room...

It works out great!:goodvibes

THANKS! I'm glad you are enjoying the trip report...What an amazing trip to remember! :cloud9: It never gets old for us...and we made some life-long friends. We had fun this past November when we went back. We spent some time with Joey, and it was just like spending time with family. We were able to see some of the other cast members, and it was great! As we walked into the Magic Kingdom, my son said, "You know, walking in here is just like coming home!" and he was right! There's just something about it for us...it feels so good to be there. Of course, my husband said, "Hey! Who let all these other people in?" :lmao:

As for if a full would fit...I think so? I don't think they are any longer (as it just fits length-wise), just wider (and there was some space to walk through at the end of the bed)...
