It doesn't take over a week for something to get to us. Mine didn't come until October 2nd.

Our threshold is $750 I think. We'll never make it. The only month we would have had a chance would have been October if we had booked our airfare then instead of in September.

No it shouldn't. I got mine on the 2nd as well. I did call Disney Visa that's what they said, not me. But if you call the last week of the month prior to a new offer, like I did, they did give the phone number and code to call.

I got the 3x offer but mine is after $1250. Seriously????? I signed up, but unless they count Target and Walmart, no way will I ever meet that limit. Not even when I pay for my airfare this month.

We can BUY Walmart and Target giftcards at our grocery stores and it shows up as a grocery purchase.... we can also purchase gift cards for birthdays, weddings, etc at our grocery stores and get the same grocery credit... That way, we get credit towards the necessary minimum but can still shop wherever we like... if you do it that way, then with your airfare, you might make some bonus!!!

Our store also sells the Visa "gift cards", so you could buy them and use them to pay your cable/medical/phone bills,bar tabs, etc... just remember to budget for it so you pay it all off at the end of the month....

What a great idea! I'll have to check to see if I can find Walmart/Target gift cards at one of the grocery stores. I live in a small town, so things like that are limited, but I can go to the next town which is much larger and check there. Thank you for the suggestion. I have thought about the VISA cards, but the only ones I find have a $4.95 activation fee, so that kind of knocks out any rewards earned.

Just to let you know I was listening to my transactions and Target was stated as Grocery!! I did not buy groceries there when I went and just realized it but it did state grocery/supermarket on the phone. I know online most stores including some true grocery stores state other.

I was listening to my purchases and heard an amount for grocery and it was a Target purchase (not even groceries) on the 800 line for Disney Visa. The number is 800-300-8575 (on the stmt) That's how I found out and after the fact. I have a $500 threshold and if I knew this large purchase was considered grocery, I would have made sure I put the groceries on the DisneyVisa.

Thanks for the info on DL. It seems that I have read that many WDW dining comes up as the hotel you are visiting. No clue on the in park places.

Ugg... my grocery store shows up as "other". My bonus points don't start until I get over 2K in a month though, so it looks like I most likely won't accumulate any bonus points this time around.
If only it was in the "merchandise" catagory, I would max out easily.

Call and listen to your transactions for more details. On the website, my grocery stores are labeled as "other" too but when I call, the transactions are labeled as "grocery store."

I just checked too and my last 3 Walmart purchases were labeled as grocery store. I don't know if it makes any difference, but I've been paying for my purchases lately at the registers in the grocery side of the store.

Thanks a bunch! I never would have thought to call in. Quite a few of my purchases that are listed as "other" are listed as grocery when I call.

Just a FYI, not all Targets are listed as "grocery store." The one near my house is but when I went to another city that has not been re-modeled with the grocery section, it was labeled as "discount store."

I have had the Disney Chase Visa card for years and only once (maybe 2 years ago) did they offer 2x points. How are you getting the information that you get more points? I'm wondering if I need to ask them!

They mail you a postcard with a invitation code and details. They mail it 4 times (one for each quarter of the year). I have only been invited for this offer twice since I been a cardholder.
