tinkerbell87512, nice one of Devine... looks like you caught her sleeping. :)

Thanks Joe! Yea she would stop every couple minutes and "fall asleep" then wake up and stare at the closest person to her.

huey578 Love the 2 pictures you posted yesterday! I love the one from the MK where everyone got their camera's up. What was the fly over for?

STEAMBOAT209 This may be a dumb question but is that real?! I have never seen a duck/bird like that. Anyway great picture!

°O°Joe - Perfect shot of the little green guys!
°O°Joe - Very cool Toy Story alien pic!
Thanks!

This shot was taken at ISO3200 because I had it set for the show - trying to catch the birds flying all around - and forgot to take it back down. It was a toughy to clean up the noise (color and luminance) - I got a ton of pictures of all these birds at the end of the show, but of course they're all shot at ISO3200. :headache: Does anyone know what kind of bird this is?

I dunno, but I sure wouldn't want to make him angry...

Nice shot, especially given the high-ISO treatment!

Thanks Ed, I found it - it's actually a Bateleur Eagle. I would have guessed a falcon of some sort - but anywho. Here are some facts about the bird:

 • MEASUREMENTS: The Bateleur is 24 inches long, has a wingspan of 5 1/2 - 6 feet, and weighs 4 - 6 1/2 pounds. Bateleurs have very short tails and long wings.

 • RANGE: Bateleur eagles may be found in Africa south of the Sahara Desert, living on Mount Kenya and Mount Killmanjaro.

 • DIET: The Bateleur will eat a variety of reptiles, mammals, and small birds, but the bulk of the Bateleur’s diet is carrion. They hunt using low sweeping flights about 150 feet off the ground, then spiral down onto their prey.

 • INTERESTING FACT: The Bateleur’s feet and facial color can vary from a pale color to brilliant red depending on the mood of the bird.

Great photos everyone! This is turning into my favorite thread.

I am about to post this one in the details thread, but I am putting here too because...well, I just love it. Enjoy. :)

DH and I were looking for parade seats and we saw this totally empty section by teh Frontierland bridge- so we asked if we could sit there. We had no idea that it was reserved for YOAMD winners (or Magic Moment recipients) to watch the parade. But the girl I asked said "wait a minute," talked to the CM who was in charge of the area, and since her brother wasn't joining them as planned, there were going to be 2 extra spaces anyways- so she arranged it with the CM to let us join her!!!!!!

It was definitely the best seat I've ever had for a parade! Cpt. Hook almost took off my neck (we were told to boo him :)) and Stitch tried to steal me away from my husband! (The CM made sure to tell Stitch that DH and I were on an anniversary trip). It was SO much fun!

OK what am I doing wrong? I click on the pic (below), and then it brings me to a map of the US. I click on hybrid and then on the green dot shown in FL. When I click on it, it brings up little thumbnails. I click on a thumbnail and just enlarges the photo. So how do I go about accessing like MK and then click on the haunted mansion to see all the pics for the HM? :confused3

EDIT: NM! I figured it out. I didnt realized you had to click on the zoom in button a few times to see the park map and all.

I've already posted a pic today, but this one isn't a picture that I took. It's a picture of where I was standing when I took all of my Magic Kingdom pictures. The place where I host my pictures (pbase.com) recently added the ability to geotag our pictures and I became a little bit addicted to it and well, I've geotaged all of my pictures. So what you are looking at below is a satalite image of where I was standing when I took all of my Magic Kingdom pictures. If you click on the picture it will take you to the basic map of where all of my pictures are from, and if you want you can look through my pics that way. If you do it, I'd recomment clicking the 'hybrid' button on the top right corner of the map. Anytime you click on one of the points, it will show you a sample of the pictures from that point, and will give you a chance to get a close up look of that area. Anyway, I thought this was pretty cool, and it gives a very unique view of WDW so I thought I'd share it.

And now to start catching up on some deserved praise!

A different view, iluvwesties; very peaceful....

pugcrazy - Great capture; love the mood!

wdwenzel - Lovely and so different! Can I use this as a screensaver ? And this fireworks shot is one of my favorites ever from you!

Alacarity - I like the perspective and mood your shot conveys!

quiltymom - Very pretty! I'm such a sucker for balloon photos!

tx2tn - Lovely pic of one of my favorite views in all WDW.

PirateSusan - What a great shot but I had to stop and laugh for minute. It reminds me of how our calico cat spreads her paws for a slurp from the toilet.

senecabeach - So peaceful and atmospheric!

We-Luv-Disney - Love the perspective and HDR. I am a big fan of your photos!

O-Joe - Great Tink photo! And so few people around!
