I have to apologize for not posting a POTD, but it's been 10 years since I've been so I don't have any. I just have to share my perspective on this thread. I LOVE looking at all these pics. About half of them tend to be "mysteries" to me, since I don't recognize the locations. I am looking forward to a little scavenger hunt of sorts when we get to go in August, where I can try to find some of these very intriguing places.

Oh, and the bonus is how great the photography is! Good job everyone and thanks for contributing!

I missed Friday-Sunday due to a hard drive crash (nothing lost, just inconvenient), so I'm going to post a series of 2, hope nobody minds!

September 7, 2007: we knew it would be closed, but it was still disappointing standing at the gate since we had never ridden it before..

January 26, 2008: after the first ride (it was obviously worth the wait!!!)
