That really makes me mad that they fired Jesse McCartney!!!!!!!!! I think he is fabulous. Any kid that can hold his own with Michael E. Knight is one heck of an actor. Can't they just let the great kids stay? First they fired Tom Michaels (Timmy) and now this??? GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I DO NOT want David to be Proteus! And apparently Anna is on the case now. UGH!

I just watched yesterday's show this morning. I thought I had taped General Hospital instead of AMC. I HATE all this crossover character crap! I have relunctantly resigned myself to the fact that Anna will be sticking around but let's drop all the GH history please. I have enough character history to keep up with on AMC without dragging a whole other show into the mix!

Sorry that I didn't get to give you last week's update, Beanie!

I cannot believe that they fired Jesse McCartney, either! He was doing an amazing job! Why do they need to age JR? So that he will graduate high school more quickly and start working for Adam? So that he can go out with Rosa? (who will be looking "younger", the next time we see her!) Will they age Jamie, proportionately? Or would that bring him too close to Laura's age (whatever age SHE'S supposed to be, these days!) Unbelievable.

I don't think that David is going to wind up being Proteus, even though they did make that "Doctor" reference, yesterday - they will make us THINK that he might be, for awhile, because of his libidozone thing, etc., but I doubt that it will be him. It may wind up being that lab technician guy who was helping Leslie Colson, though! Or....since they keep "crossing over" ABC soaps, maybe it's one of the Cassadines, or something!

Good to see ya back, IASW Rider! I think you're probably right about David not being Proteus. We are being misled once again. I sure hope so anyway.

What was up with Mateo today?!?!? He dumped out a bottle of vodka, filled it back up with water at the bar in plain sight and then proceeded to drink it pretending it was vodka and being a total @$$. I mean, I understand why he's being a total @$$, I just didn't get why he did the bait and switch with the vodka right out in the open. That seemed pretty stupid to me. Oh yeah, we're talking about Mateo here, aren't we?!

Chris is a great undercover agent, isn't he? He gave Mateo the mail and didn't even notice the envelope with cut-out letters used to address it. Me thinks he should look for a new line of work!

Don't you think there are security cameras in the hospital that recorded Laura strangling Greenlee? My guess is that's what Greenlee was looking at during that little episode. The look on Laura's face every time the cuckoo clock goes off cracks me up! I don't think Brooke realizes how appropriate that gift really is. Cuckoo, cuckoo, CUCKOO!

Thanks for the welcome back, Aprille58 and Beanie! And I hope that there WERE security cameras at the hospital recording Laura strangling Greenlee. Of course, just like in the Chandler mansion, it will probably take them awhile to remember the cameras / tapes before they get copies and look at them!

1. How does David keep disappearing and reappearing so quickly? One day he's at the hospital, later that afternoon he's "out of town on business", the next day he's at the hospital, that night he's "in Europe on business" (what kind of "business" does David have in Europe, all of a sudden?!).....

2. If Laura whines Leo's name one more time, I'M the one who's going to go "cuckoo"! That whiny voice of hers grates on me like nails on a chalkboard. I can't wait till she gets hers!

3. Why does Ryan keep having spontaneous sex with people, if he misses Gillian so much? Who will be next.......Rosa???!!

4. Hayley and Mateo were so excited about having a baby together.....and we haven't seen them with him once since the Christening! And they haven't even mentioned him by name since then, either? Yesterday, Mateo referred to him as "our son", "this baby", and "the boy" and didn't use his name once! I don't get it!

5. Where IS Jamie? He's obviously not with Brooke, as she rushes back and forth between Switzerland and PV hospital, and I doubt that he's with Tad, since Tad has also been spending so much time at the hospital.....is Jamie still at soccer camp??

6. What purpose is Mia serving? They're obviously going to focus on the storyline of Liza not knowing who the father of her baby is - I don't see how they can fit the "long lost sister" theme in there, as well. And somehow, I don't think that she and Ryan as a prospective couple can carry a storyline, if the storyline is just her helping him get over Gillian.

Just some thoughts!

I must say that I loved the look on Greenlee's face when she held up the envelope for Laura and Leo to see! I just hoped she remembered to wash her hands after digging through the hospital trash! Who knows what kind of germs could be in there!! YUCK!

People don't seem to like to wash their hands in Pine Valley - not only did Laura fail to do so after fishing Greenlee's picture out of the toilet, but she also never did after her various attempts at routing through the hospital trash, herself!

hello everyone, its me checking in!! (go Mariners!!)

I will look for the spoilers in a little while to share, they usually are not up till around midnight so they will probably be up soon. Ok last weeks show:

- loved the cuckoo look on Laura also...she really needs to keep that clock, it fits her well. LOL

-Mateo....I can not stand him being the jerk that he is, give him some bonding scenes with his son or something, bring back Hector but make him be mean and lie to Hayley....NO way!!

- Proteus, I dont like this storyline at all, sorry.

-Junior well Jesse....I too hate that they are aging him, they will need to age Jamie too or it will be way to obvious. Those two boys were good together and I am not ready to see Ditsie attending her 20-something sons wedding!! bring back Jesse!!!!!!

Okay, I think that is all that I wanted to comment on for now! back to your regulary scheduled programs....

MS - I'm with you on the Proteus storyline. It's gone from bad to worse. I'm ready for it to be wrapped up and let's move on.

I DO NOT like Anna. Why is she constantly playing with her hair when she's around David? Is it suppose to be flirtatious or something? I find it annoying!

I had to go to SoapCentral and get the recap for Friday's show. The last half was interrupted in the Central time zone for the John Ashcroft press conference. I found the following new article posted about Cameron Mathison so thought I would share:

The growing mystery surrounding Cameron Mathison's (Ryan Lavery) future at All My Children has taken yet another quirky bounce. In the growing yo-yo-like account of "Will he stay or will he go?" the latest wrinkle has the actor staying past the expiration of his current contract.

Soap Opera Central has unearthed new, exclusive information about how the rumors of Mathison's supposed departure may have started.

A message on Eric Dearborn's (ex Gabriel Devane) web site shortly after Dearborn's dismissal from the show hinted that Esta TerBlanche (ex Gillian Andrassy) and Mathison would also soon be leaving the show. Since TerBlanche's exit had already been confirmed, many were quick to assume that Mathison was also being shown the door. Dearborn explained in a later posting that he had meant that Mathison's contract was due to expire, not that Mathison was necessarily leaving the show. It is now widely believed that soap magazines patrolling this message board misunderstood Dearborn's post and ran with the story that Mathison was leaving. Dearborn, as it seems, would be the "insider" that the magazines referenced in their articles.

However, Soap Opera Central did also speak to a show insider around the same time - not Dearborn - that hinted that Mathison and AMC execs were having trouble reaching an agreement on a new contract. According to reports, Mathison wanted the ability to take time off from shooting AMC to appear in other projects. Most shows require actors to give as much as six weeks' notice before a planned departure in order for the writers to work a plausible exit for the performer's character.

There are now published reports indicating that Mathison is ready to re-sign with All My Children. Soap Opera Digest cites an unidentified source close to Mathison as saying that the actor will stay with the show.

Mathison remains tightlipped about his future. The actor's only comment on his contract status came shortly after the initial reports that he was contemplating a leave from the show.

On his official web site, Mathison addressed the reports, saying that they we "totally and completely not true." However, he stopped short of saying that he would definitely be staying put. "I could re-sign, I could not, or I could just take a little break for a while... I really have no idea."

Mathison has yet to comment on the newest reports that he is staying nor has he publicly stated to his fans that he has or has not decided his future plans.
