I'm glad I'm not the only one who hated Hayley today. She has always been my favorite, since the first day Brian found her on the side of the road with her fright wig, but today, she was just plain mean. Why is she so freaked out about Mia now??????????? Let Hayley and Mateo do away with Vanessa together, and then be happy.

Roger and Simone, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Where the heck are they going with that? Obviously there is a past, is it related to Proteus? Icky icky icky, they are nuts if they think fans are gonna stomach this one.

I am so happy about Leo and Greenlee though, they are so great together, they have such good chemistry.

I found Hayley even more annoying today than yesterday, if that’s possible. Mia thinks she’s telling the truth!! I loved it when Liza said, “Well, Hayley, no offense but you really haven’t been around much.” bahaha! To which she replied with a straight face to a woman recovering from brain surgery that her life has been a little crazy lately. Priceless. Reminds me of the transformation of Ditsie into the holier-than-thou shrew she became. Can you say “dejavu-vu-vu-vu-vu”?! Hey, wait - did I already say that?!

Aprille - you're making me laugh with that "de ja vu vu vu vu"! I was also really annoyed at Hayley over the past 2 days, and I'm glad that Liza made that comment about her not being around very much, lately! She deserved that! I don't know why she's acting all superior and suspicious. I hope that they don't turn her into a Ditsie-like character! I was also annoyed when she was speaking for Mateo and not letting him get a word in, edgewise. But the way that she was judging Mia was really horrible.

By the way......how can Adam fly in a "specialist" for Mia's son if Mia, herself, doesn't even know WHAT'S "WRONG" WITH HIM????!!!!! How would they know what kind of "specialist" to fly in?? In the mean time, isn't Mia curious to know exactly what's wrong with her son, and how Trey got the information???

In the mean time, needless to say, I was totally nauseous watching Roger and Simone, as well (by the way, when would they have gotten together, that night at SOS? If I recall correctly, didn't Simone get arrested the second she left SOS ALONE, that night?? Did she go back to SOS after being released on bail and have Roger "spot her across the bar", then???). And didn't we see Roger moving in with Greenlee, a few weeks ago? Where is he supposed to be living, now (Greenlee said to him and Simone "you're both still here?" - well, where else would Roger be, if he was still living with her?!)?

You've probably all seen this, already, but I just saw on Soap Central that Gloria might come back to be a love interest for Tad! I liked Gloria and Tad together.......until she went crazy and stole Maria's baby with Dimitri! It would be nice if she came back......but her character is so much like Mia, to me - they would have to do something to make their personalities different.

I'm with you, Christine - I also sort of started to warm up to Kendall.......and then she has to revert to her old ways and call Donald Steele. I also hope that Ryan finds out and dumps her. I love that Greenlee seems to have beaten her at her own game!

Thanks for all the LOL’s on yesterday’s installment. It is my mission in life to entertain the readers of this thread!

Random Friday thoughts:

Tad finally crossed the line today and punched Edmund. I just HATE what Tad has become! While they were arguing they were talking over each other but I caught Edmund saying, “I feel for you. I really do. Until you started acting like a jack@$$.” I thought, AMEN to that brother! The punch came after Tad was telling Edmund that Jamie didn’t need My Two Daddy’s and Edmund said, “Whatever happens with me and Jamie is better than what happened with you and JR.” Ooohhh, good one! But it got him punched!

I’ve never seen so many men discussing relationships amongst themselves as I did on today’s show! LOL! First Ryan and Leo, then Chris and Ryan. Really enjoyed the Ryan and Leo scenes.

Leo: “To hot complicated women.”

I thought it was so cute when Ryan was fanning himself because Leo’s story of his love for Greenlee was so romantic. And then when Ryan was leaving Leo said, “I would suggest that we double date sometime but I don’t think we’d survive it.” LOL! That gets my vote for funniest line of the day!

Loved the Greenlee/Kendall scenes. Didn’t feel the teensiest bit sorry for Kendall. I liked how they went back and forth from these scenes to Ryan/Leo.

Trey, Trey, Trey. Tsk, tsk. Where to begin?! Loved his line after he had Jake paged to the hospital, “Thanks to Dr Perfect your one man rescue mission just left the building, Mama Mia. You’re all out of white knights.” Then he dragged Mia out to the alley behind SOS and called her a stupid b!tch. Why didn’t she slap him upside the head?! I would have! I don’t care how scary he is!

Chris and Erica {{{sigh}}} Hey, Chris-if you decide not to take Erica because you find out she’s been lying to you I’ll gladly go on a Mediterranean cruise with you. {{{swoon}}}

Thankfully no Hayley or Roger and Simone scenes today! Woohoo!

Kendall shows up for dinner with a gun! Wonder where she got it. Should be good Monday!

From the Edmund , Tad, Brooke interaction today looks like they are beginnnig to set up the return of Maria.....Edmund and Brooke take a break and Maria comes back with memory loss... the Tad can get back with Brooke because Ditsy has left him and then their son can start talking again....

Kelli Ripa was joking today that instead of having a tv show in Pine Valley she is just a housewife.....I mere ghost of her former character.....seems she notices that since her jump in fame in the talk show world her role in Pine valley has changed....

Yes, I definitely think that the whole conversation between Edmund and Brooke on Friday specifically served 2 purposes: 1) To let newer viewers learn about their history together and the events that led Brooke to Tad and Edmund to Maria and 2) to totally set up Maria's (or her lookalike's) return to PV and Brooke's ultimately getting back together with Tad. I was a little angry at Edmund, when he kept insisting that Brooke was falling for Tad's "stuff" again, but then got even madder at Tad (as usual) when he stormed in (as usual) and acted like a jerk (as usual). I wish that Edmund had punched him back! Weren't Edmund and Tad good friends for awhile????? It's a shame that they are making Tad into such a loser. But I now doubt that Brooke and Edmund will even HAVE a wedding. And it was so nice to see them happy together for awhile, too. Well, if they decide to wait until things calm down with Tad, then Maria comes back in the meantime and Edmund goes to her, I really hope that Brooke chooses being alone over being with Tad! Or why can't she and Jack get together? Remember when it almost looked like they would, a few years ago? When she came to his office on a motorcycle and stuff?

In the mean time, I was so upset when Jake was interrupted by his phone, just as Mia was going to reveal Trey's connection to her! Trey was being pretty scary and mean on Friday - I want to know who the "masked man" is, and what he has on Trey and his past.

Greenlee really gave it to Kendall, didn't she??? That was an amazing speech - I won't say "conversation", 'cause she barely let Kendall get a word in edgewise! Kendall did deserve it, though. I just hope that Greenlee doesn't get in trouble for having Erica's secret "Bianca" formula in her new Revlon office. By the way, is it legal to accept (and immediately start working in) a new position before formally resigning from your current one??!! Especially if your current one is with a major competitor of your new employer?? I was really shocked when Kendall pulled out that gun! I doubt that she will actually use it, though - I suspect that she will run out of the Valley Inn crying, before she would use it.

I was also glad that self-important Hayley wasn't on, on Friday. She was always one of my favorite characters, but I really don't like the way that they are writing for her, lately. She needs to go back to The Wave or become a P.I. again, or something, so that she has something else to do besides try to keep the reigns on Mateo or conveniently showing up at her father's house with Enzo, after weeks of absence, whenever she feels like it, and judging everyone while she's there. Also glad that Simone and Roger weren't on, on Friday......but it looks like they will be on, on Monday! Ewwwww!!

I know it's a new Jamie, but Tad and Brooke haven't been involved since I started watching this show a number of years ago. That storyline seems a bit far-fetched to me! And besides isn't the new Jamie a little OLD to be playing that game???

And one more negative comment (pregnant women get to make lots of them, right? ) --Jake is the new chief of staff, right? So shouldn't he dress better? That baseball shirt from the 80's was awful! Not sure what day, caught it on soapnet. They need to dress Jake better.

That's funny, Pembo - you're right - when Joe was Chief of Staff, he always wore suits or a shirt and tie with a lab coat. Jake is always dressed casually. Maybe that's the new style for "modern Chiefs of Staff", or something! But you're right - I would think that Jake would dress more formally, now!

I also wouldn't think that Jamie would try to get his parents back together......especially since he was an integral part of the Edmund-proposing-to-Brooke plan, just a few months ago! And since he always enjoyed living with Tad and Ditsie. (By the way......where the heck IS JR, these days???) And if he's so devastated and affected by his memories of Vanessa, I would think that he would have other things on his mind beside trying to get his parents back together!

I too was thinking today....wasnnt it just a few months ago when Jaime was helping Phoebe and Edmunds kids get Brooke and Edmund together. Why would he change his mind like that. TPTB should think of something better - make him freaked out by Vanessa but try to get his parents back together - no way! Just plain silly.

I agree with dressing Jake better!

I love watching Greenlee feel so great - good competition for Erica. It does not look like Ryan plans on dumping wacko Kendall any time soon unfortunately!! Come to your senses Ryan, PLEASE!!

I am hating Trey more and more - I hope Mia confides in either Adam or Jake soon. I would love to see Adam going after Trey.
