Hi everyone! Can you believe, I was soo exhausted waiting for the DIS to come back Up, that I fell asleep watching it! Auugghhh! I fell asleep after Kendall tried to steal Ryans wallet! Anyone can fill me in?

Faith, Faith, Faith - tsk, tsk! Honey, don't you have a VCR?

Sparks were flying with Kendall and Ryan. Ryan eventually offered to take Kendall to the courthouse saying he wanted to see who cracked first - her or Chris. I'm undecided about these two. They do seem to have pretty good chemistry.

Erica tried to sweet-talk her way back into Chris' good graces without much success. He's pretty ticked off at her (with good reason).

Leo took too many pain pills and made an @$$ out of himself to Mr Lacey. Greenlee stayed at home to take care of Leo and had her meeting with Lacey moved to her condo. Leo had taken two pills already when Greenlee caught him grimacing in pain and forced another pill down him before he could tell her he had already taken a double dose. Lacey and Val showed up early so Greenlee asked Leo to entertain them while she touched up her makeup. Leo made some reference to "doing" Lacey's daughter (remember the computer nerd who helped out with Incredible Dreams?) and then layed a big kiss on him. Then he tried to explain himself saying he didn't "do" her, he just knew her. It was pretty funny! When Greenlee came back into the room and was asking Leo what was wrong with him he passed out.

Mateo and Hayley met at the beach. Apparently it wasn't planned. They just both wound up at their "favorite place". GAG! Ya know, everyone in town knows about their "favorite place". Not too bright. Not that I would ever use the term bright to refer to Hayley or Mateo. LOL! Someone was walking on the beach and Mateo pulled out a gun! Turned out to be a passer-by. Hey, Mateo - the beach is a public place! Even the Pennsylvania beach - if anyone can find it! Proteus called him while they were together. Ever notice Hayley always seems to be around when he gets the calls? Proteus told him it was time to pay his debt.

That's all I can remember right now. Anyone else feel free to fill in any gaps I might have left out.

Hi ladies!!! Nice to see this thread!

I wish the crash would not have had my last few pictures posts on here for lunch/dinner. I had a pic of Jackson, Ryan, Erica and dont remember the other one. *sigh* I will try to find them and post them again.

My guess is that Ryan was adopted by the man who abused him. I have always thought he must be his father, but his reaction today to Erica when she said "do you think less of me because I gave Kendall up for ADOPTION" (or whatever exactly she said LOL) really made it obvious.

You're welcome, Faith! Hey, I was just busting your chops. You need to get a tape, girl! You missed Hank singing the other day too. (I still say he needs to shave that scraggly chin hair!)

I'm usually home to watch the show live but I have my VCR set up to record every day just in case. I hate to miss anything! Of course, that backfired on me a couple of weeks ago when I forgot to rewind the tape at the beginning of the week. I was home getting things done around the house thinking my VCR was recording the show for me. When I sat down that afternoon to watch it I realized I had run out of tape. Wah! I hate when that happens!

Christine - I missed the pictures. I hope you can get them re-posted to the thread!

I was just standing in line at the grocery store reading ABC soaps and it said Hank is leaving and Laura's last day was Jan.14. How did Laura leave? I've missed it a lot lately......

Jeafl - Brooke managed to talk Laura down, so to speak, making her realize she was pushing all the people who loved her away from her. Laura ended up apologizing to Brooke, Edmund and Leo. She told Leo she was going to a place her mom had researched that helped transplant patients deal with the emotional problems that can come after the surgery. She also made it sound like she would only be back for occassional visits with her family. She wants to start a life of her own. Kind of ticked me off that they made me like her again before shipping her off!

I didn't know Hank was leaving. I like him! (Except for the chin hair! ) But it makes sense as I thought it was pretty obvious the other day that they're setting up a Palmer/Opal reunion in the future. Opal's in for a major heartache when she finds out Erica hired Hank. Palmer will be there to pick up the pieces since I'm pretty sure he'll dump Vanessa when he finds out she's Proteus.

Thanks for posting the link, MaryJ. I stumbled onto the new rant while the DIS was down and posted a link on the TT but forgot to do it here when we got back up. Didn't want to step on your toes anyway. It's kind of become a tradition on our little thread for you to let us know when there's a new rant.

WOW! Another good show today! Things actually seem to be pulling together. I know they're gearing us up for February sweeps but they're doing it well (IMO) and it looks like we'll have some good shows to look forward to in the meantime.

Faith - did you get to watch the show today?!?!?

Hey Everyone!

OK - I'm finally caught up on the show, now. WOW - great episode, today! Looks like things are finally coming together! Very exciting scenes in the courthouse and lots of great scenes with Vanessa! She is doing an amazing job - she's very creepy and scary, yet still the same old affected, funny Vanessa, too! I liked the scenes between Leo and Greenlee today, too. And it looks like things are definitely heating up with the Ryan / Chris storyline. I just wonder how and when they are going to reveal that Chris is really Ryan's father. I almost thought (from yesterday's previews) that it was going to somehow come out today in court, but it didn't. And I wonder if Kendall and Ryan will get together - as "children of parents who abandoned them", or something. Who knows - they have to be going somewhere with all that passion that they throw into their arguments! Doesn't he ever think about Gillian any more? And what happened to his new best friend, Mia? I can't wait to find out what was on those missing pages from Bianca's book, either. I remember that the gloved hand (obviously Vanessa's) burned them in a trash can in David's room (didn't he notice the smoky smell or ashes in his trash can??).

Thanks for posting that there is a new rant, MaryJ - I really look forward to those! Aprille told me that there was one, when the Boards were down (thanks!), but I was waiting for a time when I had time to enjoy it before reading it - I will read it, now!

Okay, am I the only one that does not like Kendalls hair? It looks like it has a can of hairspray on it. I just dont like it. I did like seeing her and Ryan fighting today, maybe because I like seeing him all riled up???

Oh yeah I was thinking during the trial.....why didnt Jackson pull up phone records for when Erica called Kendall and vice versa. Wouldn't any good lawyer do that?

I do also think that Chris will turn out to be Ryans biological dad. Just their reactions to Buddy alone kinda makes a person wonder.

WOW, this is a long thread!!!! I just found you guys!!!

I've been watching AMC since I was a baby (if you count that sort of thing) I am a hopeless ABC Soap junkie.

It's really funny because I named my son Trevor and my mother's first reaction was "I'm going to call him Pork Chop!" Of course I threatened her if she dared!!!

I have been to 3 of the SSW's at WDW. The 1st, 2nd and 5th. I missed this year because Trevor was only a few weeks old and I couldn't make it down there. I'm definitely going this year.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that thinks that Chris is going to be Ryan's father! And I am SO glad that Laura is GONE!

Well, I'm going to have to follow this thread a little more closely. Glad to see there are some other junkies here too!
