Look for Daytime Emmy nominee Josh Duhamel (Leo, ALL MY CHILDREN) to guest-star on the Wednesday, May 1, episode of NBC's ED. "This is the first opportunity I've had to do something different since I've been on AMC," notes the actor, who preceded his soap run by starring in an as-yet-unreleased film. "[ED star] Tom Cavanaugh is great — a really nice guy."

I don't watch Ed but might try to tune in for this one!

I'm still hunting for official word of dates for SSW at MGM. Patty said she heard it was Nov 9-10 while she was at SSW at DL but I hate to book airfare without seeing it in print or on TV. That's how I found the Leo news - I'm scrounging all my AMC bookmarks. LOL! I'll let you know if I find anything else.

So who all is going to SSW at MGM for the AMC/DIS meet?! Everyone please keep an eye and ear out for official dates. I'm so ready to book everything!

About Liza and the brain surgery..
She should NOT have had those bruises on her face.
Her memory loss and speech patterns were consistent with brain surgery.
I havent seen her walk, but motor skills can also be affected.
It depends on where the tumor is, how much hair they shave off.
Mu son lost very little hair for both surgries. He had lost all his hair during radiation.


I dont like Kendall and Ryan.
Too bad Bianaca is gay.. I like her with Leo.

Hello everyone, I am back from Disney. So sad to have to leave though. I have not had time to catch up on this thread - hope to tomorrow! I only watched the show last Monday and Tuesday so I am sure I missed alot.


I did not like seeing Ryan and Kendall "getting it done" today. yuck!!

Didn't care for Mia's Annie Oakley 'do but it did look cute on Colby.

My vote for funniest line of the day was Ryan to Kendall, "My thruster is right on your tail!" (My condolences to you, Sherry. I know the last couple of days have been difficult for you to watch. )

Greenlee's Parents Are From Another World

All My Children viewers first learned of Greenlee's jet-setting parents when Greenlee revealed that her parents hadn't even remembered to call her on her birthday. It became clear that her parents saw her as an inconvenience, prompting some viewers to wonder if Mary and Roger Smythe were from another world.

Well, they are - sort of. Anna Stuart (ex Donna Love, Another World) has been cast as Mary Smythe. She'll join fellow AW vet Mark Pinter (Roger Smythe), who plays Greenlee's dad.

Still looking for official word of dates for SSW. ABC's site is still showing this past weekend's events at DL as upcoming. GIVE ME THE OFFICIAL DATES ALREADY!!!

Oh yeah....saw a commercial for Entertainment Tonight and it looks like Cameron is going to be on.....saw/heard a snippet about a "soap star getting engaged" and they showed him kissing his fiance!

Eva LaRue is returning to the Pine Valley. AMC is not sure if they want her to return as Maria Santos or as a new character.

Outgoing ABC Daytime President Angela Shapiro sure knows how to make an exit. After years of rumors, the network has now confirmed that Eva LaRue (ex Maria Santos) will return to the show.

"Our fans have been waiting a long time for her return, and it's my pleasure to welcome her home," said Shapiro

LaRue made her exit from All My Children in the fall of 1997, when she was presumed dead following the crash of a TransGlobal aircraft. Her body was never found.

LaRue did return as a "vision" to husband Edmund the following year, though it was carefully crafted to not refer to Maria as a ghost.

There is no official first airdate for LaRue at this time. More details to follow later this morning.

Sherry - I posted the news of Eva's return a few pages back. Just thought the new twist to the news was, um, interesting.

Christine - don't know where the heck Beanie has been. Haven't seen her around here since before her birthday which was a month ago. I knew she was going on an extended trip but thought she was back by now. Think she's given up on AMC? Or just us?

I am not sure - hopefully neither of them!! Hopefully she is just too busy to talk to us. If I remember right she should be moving to Florida next month. Maybe she is doing alot of packing?????

Whoa Nelly! Jake looked HOT in that towel today. Loved the way it ended with Greenlee in the doorway, Swiss Miss Mia (hate the braids!) attempting to make her exit and Jake standing there with nothing on but a towel and a cute smirk. Should be good tomorrow!

Hate, HATE, HATE Tad being such a JERK!!! Have I mentioned I HATE it?! Well, I do! I was glad to see Edmund walk in the door when he did. I hope he kicks Tad's @$$! Someone needs to! GRRRR!

I can't stand Mia-she's always crying and grim and has mascara smeared under her eyes. Hope she does not get together with Jake-yuck. But, I Love, Love, Ryan and Kendall together. Of course, I missed the whole Gillian thing. But I think Ryan is a great character and Kendall definitely has a softer side to her. I really hope that in time Kendall and Erica become close.
