Tad showed Brooke the picture of "Maureen Gorman." After David sent "Maria" scurrying back to the mausoleum, she spotted the plaque withthe name Maria Santos Grey on it. Bianca was uncomfortable when Tim mentioned Maggie's apparent feelings for her. Vanessa revealed shocking information to Leo about Trey. "Maria" came face-to-face with someone from her past at the mausoleum.

WAIT TO SEE: Maria disappears with Maggie. David's lies are exposed.

I especially can't wait for that last one!!

Didn't she find Dr. Dave's luggage hidden away in the back of his closet and it had traces of explosives on it?

That wasn't David's luggage. It was one of her whack-job boyfriends. Jim, was it? I think it was the one she ended up killing because he had taken the kiddie porn pictures of Laura.

Yes, Aprille, you're right. It was a typo. Too many characters with similar names for my beanie brain. Good recall on your part about Jim though. I had completely wiped him off of my AMC memory.

I finally got caught up!

Adding my name to the "drooling over Trey" club. LOVED those PJ bottoms!

Putting my name in bold on the "I hate Mia" list, and I am totally sick sick sick of the Bianca, Tim, and Maggie group. They made a 5 minute dialogue between Bianca and Maggie about that stupid kiss between Maggie and Tim (I must be getting old).

I started reading David's Pine Valley 2007 and was splitting a gut. Now, everytime my daughter and I see Joe Martin, all we think about is the smiley face! I cannot believe how incredible David's rants are! I love him! Hey, did they name Dr Dave after him? LOL

I had taken a hiatus from AMC when Maria got "killed". I remember feeling sad when I heard about it, but I was really busy at work and wasn't even taping it. I missed it all, but I still love the connection between David and Maria.

I am still getting a kick out of Alicia Minshew. She is doing a great job. She sure has livened things up. I loved the scene when she slapped Aiden. I think she does a bang up job making her warped character believable.

Well, that's all for now.

I'll be at Wildwind rebuilding the turet in case Maria needs to hide out there for a few more weeks. Oh, wait, the mausoleum is still open right?

Was David on the show when Maria disappeared? I remember when he came to town chasing that Allie Doyle girl who ended up being a nut case. But I don't remember when that was.

I agree that the Maggie/Tim/Bianca thing is BORING! Why did Bianca get all weird when Maggie admitted kissing Tim?

As for Anna and her pg...why did she tell Maggie she was late? And why when Anna said to David...hurry home we may have something to celebrate..why didn't he ask what?! Oh yeah...he was preoccupied with the Maria thing.

Loved the Tad pretending to be DR Martin with summer intern Sandi with an I. How come the intern is JUST meeting Doc at the end of August?

Hurry Maria, get your memory back, I can't stand another day of Edmund babbling at Brooke and her looking moody. But watch out, she may shoot you like she did Jim!

No. I think Maria "died" in March '97. David's first appearance in PV was Nov '97. I know there was at least 6 months in between Maria's "death" and David showing up in PV. But we all know how they like to rewrite history.

Good question!!! I commented on this on PVB. Chief SheWolf said she was bad at keeping secrets. One would assume that an ex-spy and Chief of Police would be quite proficient at keeping secrets. Someone responded to my remark that Anna was being girly. Anna? Girly? Okie dokie. But I'm not buying it.

Oh, man, Christine & Faith - y'all missed it!!!!! Maria was lurking in the bushes outside SOS eavesdropping on NuMateo and his mom. Maria made a noise and NuMateo almost caught her. It was soooo suspenseful. The show ended with Maria almost knocking on the door at Wildwind with Edmund and Brooke inside. But David is hot on her trail and I'm confident he will stop her before she knocks on the door.

I'm sure some other stuff happened but this Maria storyline has me on the edge of my seat and that's all I can remember.

I have been watching for almost the entire run of this soap. I have been there through all of Erica's hubbies. Is it me or is the MOST LAME you have ever seen??????? I mean come on.

How about this...Brooke and Edmund marry. They are SOOOO happy. In about six months Edmund finds Maria. There is confusion...what to do? In the end he leaves Brooke to go back to Maria who we all know is his soul mate. Brooke is broken hearted. She turns to Tad. They bury their sorrows in each other's pillow and low and behold they fall in love again. While they are preparing for their wedding, a Dixie look alike appears and there are near misses for 6 months. After they are happily married, Tad finds Dixie...who of course has amnesia. What does Tad do? In the end he goes back to Dixie who we all know is his soul mate. JR in the meantime has met a mysterious woman who is much younger than him. There is a double wedding...Dix and Tad. JR and mysterious woman who turns out is the girl Dixie forgot she gave birth to....

That was my vent...sorry...carry on.

P.S. I coulda just given up when Vanessa came back from being flatlined for 2 days...and her brilliant cardiologist son deemed her dead. And I loved Edmund surprising Brooke with no tell motel love...a sleazy motel...isn't that just what you would expect from your fiance who is mega rich right before the wedding????

Well, all I can say is if Ditzie returns to Pine Valley, One Life To Live will be the only soap I watch. I don't think I can stand another 5 year round of Titzie Ditzie.

Also, no one wanted Edmund and Brooke out of that sleazebag motel more than I did. I'm sorry, but the "romance" they kept talking about was lost on me. GET ON OVER TO THE VALLEY INN WILL YOU?!

Geez, just talking about Ditzie again has me all in a tizzy. I'll be at SOS. I need a drink.

TalkyTina-You really think it wouldn't be romantic to stay at the PineCone??? But didn't you notice that the morning after you still look as good as you did when you came in the night before? A miracle hotel...my kind of place!

Hey everyone!

So David tells Maureen that she "killed" Maria Santos Grey....give me a break! Is she really going to believe that?? I don't think so - it looked like she was going to go into Wildwind regardless, on the coming attractions for today. I also wish that they would hurry up and let Edmund, Brooke, Mateo, and the rest of town see her. I know that I am going to cry when Isabella and Maddie and Sam see her for the first time!

I'm trying to catch up on everyone's posts - Pam - Maria was actually a neurosurgeon - but I wouldn't be surprised if her connection to David had something to do with their having known one another professionally in the past. I still think that she was a patient of his and that he somehow "cured" her after her accident. And the guy with the explosives in his luggage was definitely Jim Thomason, child pornographer and former fiance of Brooke's (she really knows how to pick 'em, doesn't she?). I liked your theory about what's going to happen with Edmund dumping Brooke for Maria, her going to Tad, and then Tad dumping her when amnesiac Ditsie mysteriously returns, in a few years - hee hee! That's great! And you know what - that's probably how it WILL happen, too!

You will have to get past me to get to Trey, Tina! Now, he knows that Maggie is his cousin.....I wonder if he's "confiding" in her and making her think that he trusts her so that he can use her in the future with something 'Nessa-related? Why is he being so "trusting" of her, I wonder?

I also think that the Bianca-Maggie-Tim thing is silly. I actually think that Bianca's all of a sudden developing an interest in the cosmetics field and working with Erica to get back at Greenlee is even sillier. What kind of major executive (like Erica) would stoop to the level of using tabloids to make her competition look bad? Very silly.

I'm glad that they haven't shown the Chandlers in a few days - I'm getting sick of them and their constant sneaking around and outdoing one another. And Mia makes me ill. And here we go again with Anna and David and "you don't trust me" - "Why should I trust you - you keep lying to me".....blah, blah, blah......these characters need some new storylines! I can't wait to find out the connection between David and Maria, though.

In the mean time.......Brooke and Edmund are getting married and NEITHER of Brooke's children are going to be at the wedding?? That's pretty sad.

I love that they're giving Tad a chance to be funny, again, now that Ditsie is gone. I loved the scene with him and Sandi the other day, and I loved the scene with him and Jake, yesterday!
