The Dream Episode (very paraphrased)

Carruthers pretty much says that she wants to show Sydney's pregnancy belly, which she does in a fantasy where Julia is pregnant with Jamie's child. Jamie plays her doctor, he's doing the sonogram and says their's no baby and Julia's like "how do you explain the belly?" (Jamie answers "indigestion") J/J pretty much break-up after that and Jamie moves out of REAL WORLD: WILDWIND. Julia's gone by 6/18, Syds maternity leave. Jamie also appears in Babe's dream. She gets her GED. Jamie hands it to her and then kisses her. Bruening says that Alexa got flustered because he played it all Ultra-cool Jamie.

Krystal/Tad/JR have a dance number. Annie dreams of a Greenlee-free life. Egan, "It was hilarious. They had a choreographer come in. It was like AMC: THE MUSICAL."

Comedy continues in Erica's subconscious. She has a game show dream. Josh and Kendall are hosting (THE MILLION DOLLAR BACHELOR). Erica's potential matches are a Bill Clintonish clone, a Bill Gatesish clone and a Dr. McDreamyish clone. In the end Jack comes in and sweeps her into a kiss.

My God there are a lot of Martin's being born, for Kate (Kathy), Jenny and now the mysterious trip Julia is taking. maybe Bobby will finally come down from the attic?

I have only watched bits and pieces the last couple of weeks. Just nothing too interesting...to me. Even OLTL has been boring me lately. I dont care for the new Greens yet but I think if I watched it more she would grow on me.

Oh, I also dont like JR's hair. He got married last month on Mothers Day (well he was supposed to). He was telling us at SSW last year that they were getting hitched on Mother's Day. Cant believe she would let him have long hair, LOL.

Hi, Christine! I miss you too!

Sorry to say I will not be attending SSW this year. DH and I are doing the same thing as Lisa and her DH - a Mediterranean cruise, except we are going in October and not on Disney. Kind of funny we're doing the same thing for our big vacations this year.

Maybe I can squeeze it in next year. Not as easy for us non-Florida people to get down there! It sure would be great for us 4 charter members of the original AMC thread to get together for SSW! I promise to try for 2008. DH loves the F&W fest and it's going on at the same time (isn't it?!) so maybe we can work something out.

P.S. Faith - glad to hear Ladybug is doing well and adjusting to her wheels.

Well, duh! Haven't seen her ever since they put her picture up in the opening photo montage (months ago!) which I assumed meant she was on contract. Oh well, no great loss.

Okay, I'm off to catch up on the last 3 episodes.

Hi Everyone!

YES - it would be wonderful if the 4 of us could meet for SSW '08, Aprille, Christine, and Faith! (.......and everyone else, here! ) This is definitely the year of the MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE!

Haven't watched today's episode, yet, but I just had to comment that I'd had a weird feeling that Greenlee was going to try to sue for custody of Spike......only on a soap........there is NO WAY that she has a case!

Am I nuts or wasn't JAMIE the one who'd originally wanted to settle down and start a family and JULIA was the one who resisted and said that she wasn't ready for that sort of commitment, when they first started dating???

I wish that we would find out what Annie's big "secret" is, or what ever it is that's making her react so erratically to Ryan (first she's complaining that he's too intertwined with Kendall and Greenlee, then it seems like she's "on Greenlee's side" with regard to the blackout, etc.).

Forgive me if any of this sounds ignorant, in light of the recently posted spoilers.........but I don't "let myself" read the spoilers!

I am finding the relationships between Kendall, Ryan, Zach, Annie, and Greenlee to be interesting (.......if not FRUSTRATING!). I sort of "get" Ryan's logic - as to why he feels that Greenlee has a point and SHOULD deserve a formal "place" in Spike's life.........but it really makes no sense in reality. When he first said "Spike has 2 dad, so........." I yelled at the TV "but he already has a step-mother - Annie!" and was so glad when Kendall reminded him of the same thing!

Loved the flashbacks to happier times for Jonathan and Lily, yesterday! I wish that they would have the 2 of them get back together........rather than this "route" that they seem to be taking with him and Ava........

Not sure what JR is trying to accomplish by staging this kidnapping (.......other than getting money out of his father and "one-upping" him).

So glad to see Erica and Jack kiss, yesterday - I wish that they would just let them get back together and forget about the reality show nonsense.......but I'll bet that their respective support of Kendall and Greenlee in the "BATTLE FOR SPIKE" will keep them from doing so, ultimately......

I still want them to explain how Greenlee wound up with Simone's shares of Fusion (when I really could SWEAR that she gave them to Bianca for Miranda)........and why even if she DOES have Simone's shares, she thinks she has so much power........given the fact that Cambias owns Fusion and Kendall is a Cambias!

Yes! That song and dance routine looks very cute! ESPECIALLY if it's in the context of a nightmare that Adam is having!

I thought that the Fusion Green campaign was pretty compelling, actually! But I think that both Kendall and Greenlee should have congratulated BABE, instead of each other - after all, it was SHE who had contacted that executive to bring him to the office to be "convinced" as to why he should continue carrying the Fusion line......and it was SHE who saved their upcoming campaign by getting Zoe's label to re-sign with them........ what ever.......... (Is Babe REALLY back with Fusion full-time or will she still be helping her Mom with the new bar???)

Glad that Ryan and Annie are going away......and are taking Spike (and Emma) with them! Better to get him far away from Greenlee, at this point!

See I don't think Greenlee deserves a place in Spike's life, she left and it's been almost two years. Plus there was no surrogacy contract so she, legally, has nothing to stand on. Oh Lord I can't believe I'm getting so caught up in this!

I agree with you, S&K'sMom! I think that she's just being a selfish brat and her wanting to have custody of Spike is more about her jealousy and wanting to lash out at Ryan and Kendall than really wanting a child of her own. I can't believe that someone as rational as Jack is siding with her (even if she IS his daughter) - he should be trying to talk her out of the lawsuit, from a legal standpoint, if not a personal one ("why hurt yourself any more than you already are?"). And I can't believe that Ryan would even remotely consider allowing Greenlee to "be a part of their family" after the way that she ruined his wedding, much less after the way that she deserted him (not to say that he didn't deserve it, after deserting HER for all of those months, but......!). I can't believe that he honestly thinks that "if it wasn't for Greenlee, there would be no Spike" - while that's "technically" true, the fact is that he and Kendall are Spike's parents and they and Zach and Annie have been raising him.......and they are the ONLY ones who should continue to do so!!

Greenlee is completely unstable. She is spoiled, selfish, angry and vengeful. I am finding this storyline hard to believe. It doesn't seem like she would even want a child with the way she is acting. She only cares about herself and the only reason she wants that baby is so she can have a piece of Ryan. She is looking for things a child can't give her. Things she must find within herself.

It doesn't matter how Spike came to be. Greenlee ran off and didn't want anything to do with him for 2 years. Now she is back and she feels like she is owed something. She is nothing more than a spoiled brat and I wish she would go back to where she came from.

I'm sorry, but I don't care for that actress that plays the new Greenlee. She over acts. I can't stand the way she moves her head and arms when she talks or the way she twists her lips. Her voice is so whiney, even DH was getting annoyed while we were watching. If Greenlee is staying in Pine Valley for awhile, I hope they recast her ASAP. She is ruining the character for me.

The MOST amazing thing about they "Everybody Wants to be a Martin" song is that for the first time ever I believe we got to hear Little Adam speak!

They must have taken him off his medications for the day!

Yes, Ruth Martin must be up in the attic with Reggie and Petie.

BTW-who was the young black man that was helping Crystal clean up the bar this week? She mentioned that he was going to medical school-is he someone we are supposed to know?

Hated the dream episode except for Krystal's song and Martin dance! Both were fun, but I fast-forwaarded the rest. at least it wasn't as stupid as the High School Musical advertised for One Life to Live.

It has been so slow--I think Ryan and Annie are about to tank. New Greenlee is a little better, but I still can barely listen to her. And then if she gets Ryan back just because she's back, I'll really not like her. (Poor Emma, is what I'm really thinking)

They are running out of storylines.........BORING
