is anyone else bothered by the 'real Greenlee is back' ads? I like Rebecca Buding but how insulting to the other actress.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm glad that Rebecca is coming back but I as starting to like the NuGreenlee.

Also I thought it was funny today when the nurse was changing Ryan's bandages and they were laughing saying she thought he looked like "the guy on that Dancing Show."

I was really starting to like the Nu-Greenlee, but Rebecca was so much better at it. She ius a much stronger actress than Sabine, she gave this presence about her that Sabine can't give.

I don't know how I missed that one. But I have noticed they use AMC to promote ABC and Disney shows. Several months ago, they mentioned one of the Disney Broadway shows and I heard another reference to Dancing with the Stars last week.

Yeah, I laughed out loud on that one.

I wasn't too sure about bringing back Rebecca either and felt bad for Sabine until her performance yesterday when they were all in her living room. Talk aobut cheesy acting--she was awful. Now, I'm ready for Rebecca to take her role back!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted! Just wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year!!

I am also QUITE READY for Rebecca to return to the role of Greenlee! She DOES bring an "edge" to the character that Sabine has not - Sabine almost gives Greenlee a "sweet / wimpy" portrayal of Greenlee, whereas Rebecca's was always much stronger and multi-layered, as many here have said! BUT I agree that the "Real Greenlee is coming back!" ads are very insulting and not fair to Sabine - especially since she was apparently told NOT to try to "copy" Rebecca's style and to give her own interpretation of the character. AND because she was apparently told that she was doing a great job and would surely be playing the part indefinitely. I DO think that Sabine is a good actress and I'm sure that she will do well........I just don't particularly like her in the role of Greenlee! It's been so hard NOT to compare her portrayal to Rebecca's.........maybe the difference wouldn't be so "pronounced" if Sabine was the ONLY person ever to play Greenlee.........but since she ISN'T, there is no way not to compare!

In the beginning, I kinda liked NuBabe.........now, I just think that she's kinda annoying / obnoxious! I really miss Alexa's much warmer and more sympathetic portrayal of the character! And I also CAN'T STAND THE RICHIE STORYLINE!! Both the Babe part of it and ESPECIALLY the Annie part of it! I wish that they would either just let him die or make him get better quickly (......and then of course immediately redeem himself and become a "good person" and a "fine, upstanding citizen of PV" - a la Jonathan - so that we forget all the "bad things" he did!) so that we can MOVE ON! Or maybe they'll stick him in Oak Haven with Hannah (ANOTHER one whom I can't stand!) and we'll never have to see or hear of either of them again!

I wish that Tad would just find out that Kathy is Kate, already! And that Kendall is (of course) pregnant with Aidan's child.........we need some fresh storylines! Maybe they're starting a new, interesting one with Colby and Dre?

No kidding about Kendall - plus we have to sit through the "many adventures of a Kendall pregnancy". I'm sure she would almost miscarry numerous times & then go into preterm labor because of some trauma, only for the labor to be stopped & then when she does give birth it will be a dramatic event.

hahah I came here just for this!! I cant' stand that they are doing that! It's so insulting to Sabine. Annoying too. I was just getting to like the new greens.

Yeah..it wasn't too obvious on New Years Eve that she turned down the alcohol and then kept talking about how she wasn't in "the mood" to drink......whatever....so over done!

I have been a member of these boards for almost a year and never knew this thread existed. I must admit that I mostly lurk on the Budget Board. Thanks for getting me caught up on the latest AMC gossip. I, too, figured that Kendall was going to end up pregnant with Aiden's baby. Its so distracting though that she is just unbelievable playing a pregnant woman. No one wears a size 0 the day after they deliver a baby. No matter how thin you are.

For my 2 cents, I don't like the nubabe. She's just not the same.

Are the writers really making Kendall pregnant with Aiden's baby or is just speculation? She seems to get thinner with each pregnancy I think she is a negative 4! She makes Susan Lucci look fat. Maybe with this kid she will just get so thin she will vaporize, which would be nice to see. Just a pouf a smoke and a push up bra left behind.

I too cannot stand the Richie and Babe storyline. Too bad they can't put nuGreenlee into nuBabe's spot. I was starting to like Sabine. NuBabe is just awful and Richie has got to go. His incisors and nostrils are really pissing me off, he looks like a wolf man. When the do a close up on him I just cringe.

I agree the "real" Greenlee ads are extremely insulting. The gossip on another thread is that Sabine's fellow actors were very upset by what happened to her.

On a good note, the actor Mario Van Peebles is coming on board to be Erika's new love interest.
