I find the new Del hard to look at! He has such a "hard" look about him and he's just not attractive at all IMO. Blech.

LOL - I think Del is attractive. He does have a "hard" look, but I find it appealing.

Does anyone else think that Erin looks like Debra Messing from Will & Grace? They could pass for sisters.

I was predicting that this week would be a snoozer so I haven't watched it, but it seems as though I was wrong and missed something big. Who is Di and why is she in town? Someone please feel me in many thanks

2bemarried - where to begin??!! Di is Dixie's half sister (apparently), "Diane Henry". HOWEVER, everyone THINKS that she is "the real Dixie", as a DNA test proved that her DNA is a "close match" for JR's. She is trying to "pass herself off" as "the real Dixie" because she knows that Dixie passed away and wants to "be" a good influence on Dixie's family, as Dixie would be, if she were here. (She's also trying to escape a rather shady past......which seems to be infiltrating her "present"........she first appeared on the show as one of Krystal's cell mates......she was apparently in jail for protecting her embezzling former lover.....) ANYWAY, Dixie's half-brother, Del, came to PV this week, presumably with the intention of exposing Di for who she really is and letting Dixie's family know that Di is not Dixie.........but that hasn't worked out very well for him, so far......... But Dixie's entire family - from JR to Tad - are convinced that Di is Dixie, and Di wants to keep it that way. She really does care for JR and "Little Adam", and it seems that she is falling for Tad, for real.

In the mean time........the scene with Garret and Dani was just creepy......even though we all predicted that something along those lines would happen........

It was neat to see Julia and Kendall sparring, again - just like the old days!

Jonathan did a great job, today - it's easy to remember why the actor was Emmy nominated, this year.........but how long can they go on with the storyline the way that it is? How long can they just keep Jonathan in his tortured state, without getting him help? By October, guaranteed, they will all be back in PV and Jonathan will be a respected and accepted member of the community, there, again.........that's just how things happen in PV! (.....I'm waiting for them to proclaim that Braden is really alive and that Jonathan didn't actually kill him, now........perhaps Braden was off, riding his motorcycle and expounding upon the benefits of eating tuna, this entire time......! )

OK is it just me or is it weird that Erin is hiding him in the closet, knows he held people prisoner, killed people, he's clearly nuts yet keeps blaming Ryan for all their troubles, just because he left and didn't take them with him. I mean isn't the story line that he left very young, what was he supposed to do? Ugh it annoys me.

I know what you all mean - these storylines are so far fetched - ESPECIALLY for those of us who have been watching for so long! Between the Di explanation and the Jonathan explanation - things keep getting weirder and weirder.

And speaking of "weird".........this Dani and Garrett storyline is already hard to watch......and I have a feeling that it's just going to get more difficult and uncomfortable to watch. Similar to the Bianca rape storyline -especially for all of that time when she couldn't bring herself to share what happened to her, with anyone.

The Julia storyline was good, today - interesting twist that the man she trusted wound up turning to the enemy.

The most pleasant storyline (at least there was one pleasant one!) of the day was Sam and Lily - they are just so cute together!

I wasn't paying close attention but I thought Del and Di/Dixie talked about how she did give Del a kidney. (Of course, I guess the viewers wouldn't have known this.) He was talking about how he told her all about Dixie and her life when they were recuperating....and was questioning whether it was always part of a set-up to steal Dixie's life.

Pam - apparently Di gave Del one of her kidneys after the one that Dixie gave him started to fail. (?!?!?!) So ridiculous. They expect us to "buy" that Del knew that he had a "full" sister, all along, but instead showed up in the life of his HALF sister, to ask for an organ donation, years ago??!!

Palmtreegirl - yes, Jamie has been very annoying, lately (albeit very cute and annoying! ). The worst was the last scene in today's episode - I thought that Amanda was dreaming when Jamie came to her and started showering her with money and asking her if she was serious about wanting him......but it seems that it was REAL! I guess that Jamie is now on a path to "narcissistic destruction", or something........UGH.

Gee - Pine Valley must truly be a hotbed of medical advances - what with David and all his potions and Dr. Madden's supposedly being able to "invent" a medication that can reverse a woman's "immunity" to becoming pregnant! What will they think of, next?

As crazy and implausible as the whole Jonathan storyline is, I have to say that the actor who plays Jonathan has been doing a fantastic job, since he's been back. It was eerie when he "switched" from "little boy mode" to "woman abuser mode" so abruptly, today, when Erin told him that he couldn't "go" with Ryan.

I guess that Kendall is finally realizing that she has true feelings for Zach, and that's why she's so possessive of him, around Julia?

Is anyone planning to watch the ABC Soap Fall Preview special at 11:00 AM (Eastern time, on ABC), tomorrow? Cameron Mathison is hosting, and I believe that several other AMC cast members (along with several from OLTL and GH) will be with him, to show clips and offer spoilers about the upcoming season. I will have to fight myself not to watch.........but maybe I will.........I hope that I don't regret doing so, later!

Didn't Di/Dixie mention that she had to go live with an aunt when she was younger because their "mama" has so many children. She said she was very unloved there & now she feels accepted & loved.

I agree. He is doing a great job with the acting. The thing I don't like about that storyline is the fact that Erin pulled him out of an explosion. I think trying to "redeem" him with a medical condition is a little sketchy, but I do think he's a great actor & having him back on the show should be interesting.

i agree about not being able to stand Jamie he is getting to be a very unlikeable charachter...but maybe without Babe they will turn him into something better after he goes down the wrong path for awhile...i really want to see him and JR become friends again..

I watched it this morning on Soap Net. Some of the spoilers were not too surprising, others left me pretty shocked. One in particular, but I wont say in case there are people who don't want to know. It was worth watching if you are into spoilers and a big fan of all the ABC soaps. Since the AMC stuff was at the beginning and I don't follow the other soaps, I skipped through most of the rest of the show.

I know! How stupid was that scene, I thought the exact same thing you did, that it was all a dream! Now you know Jamie is going to have graduated college & Medical school by spring, if it even takes that long.

Rumor about JR/Babe, highlight to read- I read a rumor that they're going to getting JR and Babe back together for real, I'd actually enjoy that, the actors have some great chemistry together.

i saw the soapnet special on abc today! i too read pretty much all the spoilers on this site so not very surprised however i think 1 or two left me totally confused!

As for todays show,i loved sam and lily but that was about it. couldn't really get into anything!
