No, no Jack today, thank goodness. I hate that storyline with a passion! He's being cruel to Lilly. I can understand as a parent being upset, but never having her declared mentally incompetent. AWFUL!

Oh, I agree, however, he does NOT know that Jonathon "recently" got his normal "brain" back, he thinks he has been "faking" it since day one! So, I can see him being concerned, however, the relationship with Jonathon and Lily is Doomed, seeing Jack KNOWS the truth now.

Jack is annoying me. I do think that the storyline should go the way of Jonathan gently telling Lilly about him being "normal" again. I think I would kind of like Jonathan & Amanda together.

I'm probably the only person on the planet that doesn't care about Kendall & Zach together. I don't like Ryan & Kendall together either. I like the idea of Ryan & Annie & I've always thought Zach & Brooke would make a good couple. Zach just seems too old for Kendall.

I don't like Julia & Jamie together - yuck! Always thought Jamie & Babe should have stayed together because I honestly don't see the chemistry between JR & Babe. I'm starting to see the chemistry between Babe & Josh (a little bit), but I think they are making Babe way to trashy. Always cheating on her husband(s).

I've missed so many episodes this summer & when I do see one I can't bring myself to sit & watch the entire thing. There's not much that interests me.

Oh - going against the grain again & saying that I like where the Colby storyline is heading with her being a brat. They need something to spruce the show up & her shennanigans might do it. I guess we'll see.

I still wish they would give some good storylines to the veteran characters.

Can I ask a question about AMC? I watched it today for the first time in MONTHS!! That being said...why does it seem like it is a MOVIE and not a soap opera...like I was watching a film...I cannot think of anyother way to describe this but watching it today I felt like it was ODD....

Oh the show has gotten so bad. I can't even watch it anymore, I've been taking a summer vacation from it. Remember when the summer meant good storylines? They need a good storyline and pronto!

All I can say is thank goodness for VCRs...I skip EVERY scene Colby is in, absolutely do not like her and am sick to death of this aging thing. Used to be a huge fan of Jack's, but he could leave and I wouldn't care. Tired of the anger.

I am such a fan of Lilly and Jonathan together. I understand autism and that you do not get cured, but this IS a soap. They have taken her from severely impaired as a youngster to being better and better at coping with the world. I would have loved to see Jonathan nurturing her and have her slowly come to a point where she could have limited intimacy with him. I cannot see him with Amanda. This gentle side of him is romantic....reminds me of Noah when Julie was recovering from the rape.

I miss Tad. He looks chunky and sad with no humor at all...I suppose if the rumors about his real marriage failing are true, he may be personally having a rough time. The show is devoid humor without him.

All that being said, except for the Lilly storyline, I do not know how I would write this show. It is SOOOO dull. I just see no hope. Only thing I am sure of is I will continue feeling dizzy trying to watch it.

Agnes Nixon...are you listening???????! Any former actors interested in recreating their charactors back when it was interesting? Maybe Noah and Gillian could return from the dead? We have gotten good about accepting those. Can Jesse come play ghost again for a while? Slap Tad around a bit and lighten him up. Can Benny come back and play naughty with Brooke?

Ditto. Bringing back Jeff to spice up the Josh/Erica storyline IS NOT WORKING for me at least. He is as boring as Jackson. However I can sense that Jackson is going to be spared by Ms. Nixon for as long as Jeff/Erica/Josh story lingers. Lastly, I was so disappointed by Aidan's cruelty toward Erin. O.K. I know, I know, Erin should've told Aidan the truth, but he supposed to be the one with the "Cool mind", right?!

I guess in the world of soap, nothing good is ever going to last.

I have no business posting since I'm more than a couple days behind, but here goes.

I might be the only one who is not real mad at Jack. While I can't stand his constant anger and actually want to slap him upside the head, I understand why he is so upset with Jonathon. Even if he finds out that Jonathon wasn't faking all along, Jonathon was a cold blooded tumor headed killer once upon a time who is now living with Jack's 18 year old daughter.

Alrighty... now the other thing is that Jonathon can't keep up the act forever. He WILL break Lilly's heart eventually (when she catches him sleeping with Amanda), so there can never be a happily ever after for Jonathon and Lilly unless he tells her the truth. I love Lilly and I have grown very fond of Jonathon, but I'm not thrilled with them together. The age difference bothers me as well as Jonathon living a lie and keeping Lilly in the dark. Yeah, I know, this is a soap.

While I still hate Colby, I'm happy this new little blonde has entered the picture to stir things up. Anything that takes the limelight away from crappiecolby is fine with me.

I still like Jeff. The nostalgic part of me is loving him with Erica. Could it be that after all these years, they could discover forever love the second time around? I used to love Jack, but I never really cared if he ended up with Erica or not.

I like the idea that someone mentioned with Brooke and Benny. Oh, those were the days. Funny, I remember when Di Kirby first arrived on AMC. I thought she resembled Estelle. Of course I also remember when Amanda first appeared on AMC. I was convinced they took Babe, threw her in a pot with Jamie, mixed them together, and got Amanda (I really like Amanda )

I agree about Tad looking sad and chubby lately. Anybody notice Lindsay isn't looking so hot on OLTL either. She is still gorgeous and in great shape, but she looks a little run down. Too bad for them. I really liked them together.

Sorry for jumping around... I still wish Kate Collins could come back as Natalie.

As a side note... anybody ever watch B&B? I usually don't, but have been taping it lately out of desperation. As you might know, AMC's old Robin plays Taylor on B&B. I almost fell off my chair when she returned from the dead with the most hideous puffy lip cosmetic surgery job. Remember that old song, "she has a pair of lips just like potato chips, hey boys that's where my money goes?" ... well, that's old Robin now. She was so pretty. And now, she, like Meg Ryan, has ruined such a pretty face. What a shame.

I am going to snail mail AMC and tell them I have been watching for 30+ years and I want to let them know that my loyal viewing will come to a grinding halt if they do not STOP SHAKING WEAVING AND WAVING THE FREAKING CAMERA!!!!! I am very serious about this. I can't take much more of it. Will they care? Probably not.

I think that was her name, she had long brown curly hair, this had to be back in the 90's i got lost for about ten years, LOL life! whats up with that, EVEN I should know life is nothing with out soaps to escape to!

Ya Talky: Taylor aka Hunter Tylo has been on B&B forever. She left to go to an evening soap...I think it was 90210 not sure but the now deceased Aaron Spelling and Hunter had a falling out over a s/l. She, I think was fired. WAIT I think she was pregnant, found out right after she signed a tv contract and they like tried killing her right off or something...bottomline that show did not work out for Hunter. She then took some time off as her youngest had some illness...something with her eyes...very sad...I believe the baby is fine now.

She then comes back to B&B and WOW...WTH has she done...YIKES...she looks ridiculous. She was so pretty, why did she bother...her lips are hideous. Come on, if I was on that show, I would have all I could to contain myself from bursting out laughing at those LIPS.

As far as Robin, I am like "hit or miss" w/AMC so I have no idea what part that was she played. Probably in between B&B roles.

It is nice to see them try to bring in family members of the original cast members. I would like to see Benny and Donna come back or maybe Tim (Amanda's older brother). Or Nicko (Maurice Bernard) and Cecily. Those were great story lines, just like Jenny and Greg.

O/T - Did Michael Knight and his wife split up? I thought they made a great couple. I loved seeing them together on the Soap Award shows.

I agree with you, MOM. About Michael Knight, he has been married to Catherine Hickland aka Lindsay. She also sells her own make-up line on QVC. Anyway, I was not aware they broke up. They were a great couple. Wasn't she involved or married to David Hasseloff??

I remember her. If I remember correctly, she "left town" for some great photography opportunity. I'm thinking it was in Europe. But like when other family members leave town, she hasn't been spoken of since. I guess they never communicate.

WOW..so Michael and Catherine are no more ! And so Cady is w/Hunt Block..who was her hubby on As The World Turns. I will say I watched AMC when Cady was on as Dixie, long long ago and I loved her like everyone BUT I so loved her more as the snotty b***h Rosanna!! I loved her long hair, she was so stylish. I just loved that role better than the Dixie role. I was sorry to see her leave ATWT but interesting she is with Hunt Block.

What will the not-so-good folks of Pine Valley do when they get into legal trouble without Livia there to clean up their messes?

I had to do a google search to find out more about Robin McCall, the character which Hunter Tylo played on AMC from 1985-87. I remember Robin and Tad being a couple back then. Many of us remember that Hunter met Michael Tylo on AMC and they were married in real life. I knew that, but what I didn't know (or forgot I knew...lol) was what Hunter said in her autobiography: "She insisted that her husband leave his storyline on All My Children, lest she divorce him, as she perceived that series co-star Taylor Miller (Nina Cortlandt), who played Tylo's love interest at the time, to be coming on to him in real life; she makes the accusation in her autobiography Making a Miracle."

I think the plastic surgeon who blew up Hunter's lips, should have his/her license taken away. She looks like a freak show now. Very sad since she was so pretty and already had full lips. Lots of fans are also complaining about her other surgery (which she also didn't need).

How about some fun. Who remembers the first time they watched AMC? What was going on in that episode or during the first time you started watching?
