It's funny how the firemen keep telling concerned PV citizens "YOU HAVE TO STAY OUT OF THERE, FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!" And then all someone has to do is say "But my FAMILY is in there!" and the firemen sort of shrug and say "OK" and let them in to search for the missing people! They're obviously as competent as the PV police department.

Good thinking about Lily's TRUE chronological age, Deb & Bill! Hey - who knows how old ANYONE in PV is supposed to be, any more?? But it is interesting how (in the recent past, anyway) Jack has gone on about how Lily is "just a teenager" and all of a sudden, they seem to be aging her so that she could consider the possibility of running off and marrying Jonathan! I know that we've all discussed how it's a little weird / inappropriate that the actors are really so far apart in age, and that Leven is really just 15 years old........but I have to say, Lily and Jonathan are the most fun / sweet to watch - theirs is the only storyline that I don't cringe "at", these days!

It will be interesting to see how Dixie "gets out of this one", with Tad and JR just above her, about to rescue her........you know that they will either wind up getting distracted by something else (ie: hearing Babe's voice from below) or one of them will get hit on the head with falling debris, to prevent them from immediately uncovering and coming face to face with the REAL Dixie..........

Does anyone else love the flashbacks Dixie keeps having? I loved the one with Palmer, she was sooooooooooo young. And the one the other day, when Tad finally remembered her? I have always been a total sucker for Tad and Dixie!

Now, why wouldn't Palmer just say yes to David, and then when they get out, say "oops, sorry I lied!"???

SCminnie--> this is sooo true! i have on AMC right now and it's only good for backround noise! and my kids are napping!! haha...i'm cleaning my desk drawers..that's when you know i'm bored outta my mine i would rather clean than watch tv!! Ahh..at least i have DWTS tonite! that will bring me out of my bad TV slump!

I was so completely grossed out and sickened when Adam and Krystal had sex there in the rubble. What more inappropriate time and place could there possibly be? People are dying all around us, and I'm really turned on by that! Let's get it on!!!

I think the entire idea of a building blowing up and people being trapped under piles of rubble would even be something that a show filmed in NY after 9-11 would air. Very poor taste. Folks are not conveniently clustered in little cement cubbies...having sex when that sort of disaster occurs. Are these writers nuts or what? Just when you think they couldn't get any dumber or more insensitive..THEY DO. Oh..and lets not forget the Red Cross was a sponsor of this...the whole thing is just wierd..really wierd.

I haven't watched GH in years but from the ads it looks like Scorpio has returned (wasn't he dead, too)? I'm pretty sure Robin has returned to Port Charles as well. Do you think she'll tell Scorpio that Anna is alive and well and was most recently seen in Pine Valley? Maybe they can all return to PV.

Or, maybe this is a "Dallas" type set up -- all the dead characters from AMC as well as other soaps are returning to Pine Valley -- because Pine Valley is really heaven.

Whatever -- the show drags, is boring and seems to have been going in circles for the last two years.


I'm also wondering if AMC might hold a record for employing the most actors over age 70 -- not many shows have as many octegenarians as AMC!

Hi All,

I haven't posted on the AMC thread since the days of Trey and Vanessa! I guess I feel the same way many of you do... I've been disappointed in the show for quite some time. The only reason I continue to watch it is because I need tapes to watch while on the treadmil. Well that, and the loyalty thing. I've been watching AMC for many years.

I have been FF thru most of the show for several months now and have been FF thru the boring parts for years. Like others said, you can get the show down to 20 mins by speeding through most of it.

While I haven't watched the last two shows (yet), I am pulling my hair out over the repetition... Babe JR fighting, Lilly Jonathon.. can they be boyfriend/girlfriend.. yes no yes no yes... let's argue about it over and over again at the ball...BLAGH! Jack! Please knock some sense into these writers!

Well, this won't make me too popular here, but I do not like Kendall with Zach. He looks too old for her. Speaking of Kendall, is anyone else enjoying her having to be pg?

Josh... well, maybe I'll give my thoughts on this story later, since I was "there" for the "termination" back in the 70s, but this handsome young actor needs to get his teeth straightened! Don'tcha think?

Bahh is all i can say about AMC lately! i have to agree with a lot of what you said TT, except for Zach and Kendall love them!

Shugardrawers--> i thought that krystal and Adam were just plain tacky and thoughtless...ughh to the writers on that!

Here's to hoping today is a little bit better? or that everything is mysteriously 'cleaned up' and we don't have to watch anymore scenes taking place at the ball??????

Missed yesterday's show-- our west coast office tends to schedule meetings at 10am their time which is AMC time here. But from what I read here I didn't really miss much.

TT-- I keep only watching because I am just too lazy to get involved in another soap. But I do like Zach and Kendall together. They just seem to have chemistry.

Is Krystal really dead? Did Adam just imagine her talking to him? I wouldn't put it past that hospital to declare her dead when she really wasn't. Has anyone heard a spoiler about this? The ABC boards are going nuts trying to guess if she's really dead!

Krystal is alive. At the end of the show today she spoke to Adam from under the sheet. Not sure if they thought she was dead or what.

For 3 solid days they are chit chatting, fighting and having sex under the rubble and now they are all the sudden injured? Maybe if they'd just laid still and waited for someone to rescue them they wouldn't be in this shape
