I also noticed Bianca's new ta-tas. With her increased height, they're in everyone's face.

If they're not going to tell us what happened to Trevor, I wish they'd stop talking about him. What about Tim? Does he get in touch with Trevor? If not, why isn't he asking questions? "Hello, Amanda? Have you heard from Dad? No? Me neither."

Yea, Mona how was the trip? Also, was the show a HOOT today or what? Loved it when all 3 got the "weapons of Choice" for Adam! Guess I missed the ending? Was Janet at the Party in disguise? I think I saw her! Oh, and I am hoping Porkchop isn't Pork Chips by now!

Yes, Janet is there in disguise as a man. I too loved it when Babe, JR and Krystal brought out their weapons of choice - those 4 have been kinda fun to watch lately - well when they are at each others throats.

I think I am starting to like Aiden with Erin, they look cute together. (or is it just that we see more of him now that he has some storylines....hmmmm)

Are they going to creep us out by making us think Kendall and Josh are going to hook up? They did that with Jack/Greenlee and Kendall/Trey....they really need to have Kendall give in to Zach and stop having her chase her siblings.

Kendall was more pregnant when she was pretending to be pregnant for Bianca.

Well, if they expect us to believe Kendell is in her mid-late 20's that would put Erica in her late 30's early 40's. Yeah, right.


My trip was very nice. The weather was great. I did get the crud of a chest cold in the middle of the cruise and missed several dinners. That's one way to not gain weight on a cruise! Still battling this thing. I hate being sick!!!!!


Can't wait to see pics of your new haircut Christine. Did you donate it to Lock of Love?

Carla, Carla, Carla... ...Are we going to have to give you the "it's a soap so it doesn't have to make sense, just suspend reality for awhile" speach again??????....now, now!!!!....i mean really...get yerself under control there sistah...

Count me in as one of "those" who think Trevor is dead, or in a well (remember her sister?) somewhere. It's the only thing that makes sense (well...ifin they made sense that is....note to self..give myself the same speach as above...) to not show him anymore. Remember when she left, they were "madly" in love (try to find some sense there...I DARE YA..i mean really...go ahead...just try...) and she was "normal" again. Maybe Trev saw that she was gettin sickiepoo in the head again, wanted to have her committed, and she said NOSKI , and did something to him so he couldn't commit her again.

They were absolutely normal and in love when Janet and Uncle Trevor left Pine Valley. The writers seemed to have totally ignored that fact. I guess most of the viewers don't know the history, and they've re-written it.
Also...I have watched since DAY 1....the entire time line of Kendells birth and Erica's age...well it doesn't match either. I mean the show has been on for some 35 years...and Erica was I believe a senior in high school at the time. Would make her in her 50's now...which is what she is in real life I believe. That would also make Kendall... older than 35..since she had her when she was 14?? Oh...the creativity of these writers. Wasn't Bianca born in the 90's..? Maybe late 80's...don't think she'd be the age they have her at right now either.
I love how the kids get older...but the parents don't...and they are always having these great dinners and lunches while the kids sit quitely and age appropriately for story lines! Gotta Love the Soaps!

I would like to thank everyone for making this thread the great thread that it is! I have enjoyed discussing our soaps with each and every one of you, even through our anger, tears and laughter....the show sure gives us a range of emotions.

I certainly have heard of a relapse..it's usually what the writers do when they run out of stories!..and do the same one again with a slight twist.

If that is the case here..they really need to tie it together. The entire Janet/Trevor storyline was based on Janet being insane..that's where the expresion "Janet from another Planet" actually started..it was her very own hubby Trevor that first uttered those words. he had become a changed man by Janet..and fell in love with her..believing she was fully recovered from her illness. Of course it was a stretch since she had left her sister in a well for an entire summer...the poor girl didn't get rescued until after Labor Day!..Personally I wondered how she didn't have to go to the bathroom that entire time..but that's a whole other story..LOL! It seems they brought this mentally disturbed/chip on the shoulder Amanda back to Pine Valley with a history of having a disturbed mama..but what about Trevor who was the rock of the family? He just phones his daughter every so often. This was not the nature of this girls family. It's fine the way it is..it's just irritating to long time viewers because we know the origin the family. Guess we are supposed to have amnesia. (You know how many people get that,after all!) Sort of reminds me a bit on GH how they made Rick Webber..Laura's father come back and be some evil maniac who had murdered someone..when nothing of the kind happened...and they totally rewrote the history of a long time favorite character. I think the real problem with us long time viewers is that the writers are likely younger. I'm in my late 40's..and watched since day one..and I'm thinking that these writers are likely not as old as the show itself..and don't have an actual recollection of the past events, which would certainly make it more difficult to tie them together with present day characters.

The Janet thing is hilarious. She is bringing some humor to the show. I also remember Janet and Trevor being happy and normal when they left the show. Wonder what happened??? I miss Trevor.

Speaking of age, I read Pete Cortland will be making his debut in Pine Valley I think in January or Feburary. He'll be older of course. Heck, next year Miranda will be dating Adam Jr.the way these kids age in Pine Valley (hee!! hee!!).

Auntie: I TOTOALLY agree that as far as re-write's go....the debaucle that was the Rick/Laura storyline...has to go down in the Hall of Fame of "Stinko Storylines"..do you like it...i just made that up........(come on everyone...share what you think is a "Stinko Storyline"....that was BEYONDdreadful. I have NO idea what they were thinking. That was just pure unadulterated poo!!!

Here is what we have to try and remember..and i know its hard when we's is madarooksi...There are several things that can make our beloved soapies run off into the ditch:

1. New Writers...want to try and come in to "shake things up"...or some other droll thing like that. "we want to try and take another approach...another spin....on the situation"..."we want to take the character in a new direction"..They want to try and prove what a better writer they are than the person before them that they replaced, "look how different I can be...look how different I can make them"....sometimes they just get hairbrained schemes up the wazoo, and somehow talk other people into letting them try it.

2. Producers, new and old:..The people the writers talk into letting them try it.

3: Children on Soapies:...Exceptin for just a very small..few that have that very early ability, (Robin comes to mind on GH) they are really, when ya think about it, in the writers "way" so to speak. Yes, they are great as gimmicks for sweep weeks, getting old favorites back together, other drama....yada, yada, yada....But then think about it. There is nothing that the writers too much can do with the babies, (until the generation of super babies that can act and talk at 2 months old come along) once they are here, and have fulfilled their original purpose, other than the storylines that we complain about being tired of:

1. Kidnap them
2. Question their paternity
3. Medical Emergency
4. They die (which we REALLY hate...think BJ on GH)
5. They need some kind of transplant, which brings up the paternity thing again.

I mean think about it. How many of those little critters have come on and not had one (or more) of the 5 above things happen to them? Can you think of very many? I sure can't. So what are they left with? Ifin they really want to annoy..errrr...come up with something different for us, then their only other thing that they can do, is to SORAS them so that they can have some storyline, so that they can make a new potential "super couple" and to try (although I admit a bunch of times it fails) to bring new blood to the soap, as this is the only way to ensure it's longevity. And really, the only reason it fails is because they have picked the wrong actor. When they SORAS'd Dillon on GH, he has been GREAT!!! (he has acted well with the old Edward, Tracy, Luke, the old timers as well as the younguns, because he has the acting chops).

So as much as we might no likey....we will have to accept that SORAS will be around forever. There's nothing much else that they can do. They seemingly do not "have the technology"....

Everyone once in a while I see these publicity pictures of Zach and Kendall that I think are from a while ago and I missed it. It is during the daytime, and they are obviously on a beach somewhere, Zach gives Kendall a flower. Does anyone know where that is from? It's not their recent trip that they just took. I saw one picture on Thorsten's website, and another scene somewhere else.
