Speaking of Greenlee leaving (which I personally think is absolutely horrible) did anyone see the new Fusion Commerials for Wal-Mart. Greenlee is NOT in them so at that point I knew for sure Rebecca was departing. What is shockingly stupid is that AMANDA is in the ADS! What does Amanda have to do with Fusion. Amanda is one of the most deplorable charaters that they have brought to Pine Valley. That baby cannot be Greenlees or Kendall is going to lose the baby. I can't fathom Greenlee leaving a child behind even if she is mad at Ryan.

I bet the popular long time character that is coming back is Dixie.

RYAN RETURNS TO GREENLEE!
Greenlee is stunned beyond belief when Ryan shows up at his own memorial service. She's overjoyed and they share a romantic and intimate reunion...until Ryan confesses to her that he faked his own death. She is so furious at his betrayal, that she keeps the secret from him about Kendall carrying his child. Meanwhile, Kendall throws Zach out after learning that he knew all along that Ryan was alive. She can't believe that she's now carrying someone's baby for a man who might not even want it. And JR learns that his mother is really dead. Will he ever forgive Di for pretending to be Dixie? And will Tad decide to love her or leave her? »

Sorry, Pam - I looked at the headline, but wouldn't let myself read the rest........even though I'm sure that I already know what it says!

I know what you mean, Sarge - we couldn't believe it when we saw AMANDA in the Fusion commercial, either! I was like "Oh God - please don't let them make HER the 'new woman of Fusion', when Greenlee leaves!" Well, I guess that that would sort of be better than her playing private eye with Aidan and Tad.........but ridiculous, nonetheless!

I agree with you all - they really DO need to get new wardrobe and hair people, on the show! At least they finally let Julia and Di change their clothes, after their ordeals!

And I agree that the actor who portrayed Garrett did a great job, and it would have been nice if they had let him stay around longer, before killing him off. Maybe he'll come back in flashbacks, a la Michael Cambias! Or maybe his kinder, gentler twin will show up in PV, in a few months, to try to claim Mimi's heart.........stranger things have happened!

WOW - Ryan returns from the dead and no one has posted, yet??!!! Could that be because we're all still too busy rolling our eyes, over the "triteness" and predictability of the situation??!! (Ryan showing up at his own memorial service - how many of us predicted that THAT would happen?!! ) Greenlee might be in a state of shock and happiness, NOW............but as soon as she hears the whole story (including the fact that Jonathan is ALSO still alive and that Ryan was RIGHT THERE, when she was pouring her heart out to Erin), she will be insanely mad - THAT'S what I can't wait to see! Likewise, as Kendall confirms that Zach knew that Ryan was alive, all along!

In the mean time..........will Di "cave" and tell JR who she really is??? There is so much identity switching in that family - maybe we'll soon find out that Del is actually Will Cooney.......who ALSO came back from the dead..........because no one ever REALLY dies in PV! (Every time they showed Brooke at the end of the memorial service, yesterday, I couldn't help but picture her thinking "First Maria, then Dixie, then Ryan............when is Edmund coming back???"

As it all was unfolding, I was thinking "With everything these people have been through, why are they so shocked?" The back-from-the-dead thing has been done so many times, you'd think the long-time PV residents would be used to it by now.

I'm just waiting for the day a Pine Valley-ite is pronounced dead and someone says "So when is he coming back then?" Since Rebecca is leaving and Esta Terblanch a while back expressed some interest in returning lets all send some to the powers that be. I loved the princess sigh.........

I didn't see it either. I was completely confused until I just accepted that Stuart let him read the letter and we never saw it. I don't see Stuart doing that because he's so honest....if Di/xie told him to keep it until she died, I doubt Stuart would have given it to Tad to read and then keep quiet about it. But, I just accepted it and moved on - it was easier that way.

Which current storyline would you rewrite and how?
No fair saying all of them!! Only one, we all know they all need to be rewritten.

I'd take the Di/Dixie story line and replace the woman playing her with Cady McLain. I'd leave out the whole stupid Dragon thing. It would be good enough just finding out where she'd been all this time and what role David played in it and what happened to baby Kate.

What past character would you bring back (can go all the way back to the beginning of the show)? Would you want the original actor/actress to play them?

Definitely Esta Terblanch as Gillian. I can think of a couple others but that's my #1 followed closely by the original Dimitri (sans Alex) and Phoebe which isn't possible because no one but Ruth Warrick could do her justice.

Hmmm.....for a storyline....I'd rewrite the Ryan's Baby storyline. I'd have Zach and Dr. Madden working together to have Kendall pregnant with Zach's baby. In the blackout, all of the embryos were destroyed and, to cover his butt, Dr. Madden agrees to work with Zach to impregnate Kendall with his baby. The only problem is, it seems that when a character has a baby, they go away and I like Kendall. .

I'd bring back Michael Cambias. I definitely want the original guy playing him. Ah....him and Zach together.....THEN the show would be worth watching!

I would so change the Ryan/Greenlee storyline. Frankly Ryan would be sleeping with the fishes. Leo would be the one to come back from the dead and rescue Greenlee from this storyline. In Fantasy Island Zach has rescued me and we are living happily ever after.

As for bringing back charactors Billy Clye Tuggle was such a hoot to watch. Daisy is another one.

Yesterdays show was good! Finally!!!! Now if only the "real" Dixie walked in the Chandler Mansion, that would've been perfect. I read something a few months ago that Cady McClain was possibly coming back in the fall? I hope that rumor is still true!
