I agree, too! The younger actors can't even hold a candle to the slightly older actors, like Greenlee, Kendall, JR, or definitely not Bianca! Although Greenlee, Kendall, and Babe were all not as good as they are now, when they first came on the show, and all of their acting improved immensely over time. (But somehow I doubt that that's going to happen with Amanda or Jamie!) On the other hand, I sure do miss seeing more of Opal, Palmer, Myrtle, and especially Brooke - she hasn't had anything substantial to do in so long - not since the whole Ed-dumb and Maria thing. I was really hoping that they might start something between her and Adam, again - they were always very funny together. Then again, something about Krystal (who is also very good) and Adam "works", too - they have good chemistry and comic timing, together. It would be nice to see them give Derek more to do than interrogate people (where has Dani been, lately?), too!

SPOILERS FOR THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 21ST


Greenlee is stunned to learn that Kendall used her own eggs instead of Greenlee's to become pregnant.

Greenlee invites Ryan to join her for Thanksgiving.

Ryan thanks Kendall for her incredible loyalty to Greenlee.

Erica and Kendall share a close moment, leading Erica to realize that Kendall has fallen in love with Zach.

Kendall tells Ryan that his child is a baby boy.

Greenlee makes sure that Zach, David and Greg attend her Thanksgiving dinner.

Kendall is uneasy about Greenlee's odd behavior.

After everyone is seated for dinner, Greenlee proclaims to all that Kendall is the biological mother of Ryan's child.

JR is stunned upon finding Babe lying unconscious at the bottom of the stairwell.

JR insists that Babe move back into the mansion after she tells him that she was pushed down the stairs.

Amanda swears she had nothing to do with Babe's fall.

Adam is horrified when he learns that Babe spending the night in the Mansion.

Amanda vows vengeance against JR and Babe.

JR humiliates Di in front of everyone during Thanksgiving dinner.

Derek questions Julia, Zach, Sam, Jack and Aidan about shots fired at Jonathan.

Jonathan refuses to leave Pine Valley.

Aidan tries to draw Jonathan out to see if he is truly a changed man.

JR provokes an outburst from Jonathan.



SNEAK PEEK AT NEXT WEEK

Kendall fesses up to Greenlee with the truth.

Greenlee lashes out at Kendall, accusing her of still loving Ryan.

Greenlee refuses to hear Kendall out, believing she used her own eggs on purpose.

Ryan tells Greenlee she is not alone, that he is willing to leave town with her.

Tad makes it his latest mission to get the goods on Greg Madden.

Zach admits his true feelings to Kendall.

Circumstances bring Janet back again.

I took two pictures of Greenlee's dress. One is next to my suitcase...it's a carry-on, not a regular suitcase. It appears you can stick Rebecca Budig in the suitcase. I also took one with my cat, Ally, standing on it. I lured her over there with my new Minnie antenna topper and Paddles had to check it out, too!

This annoys me, too. Especially since they had all those "tests" done. Even the EARLIEST tests can't be done until around 10 weeks. She's still that thin at 10 weeks?! Seriously....I understand being thin and beautiful is part of the theme of soaps, but Alicia is a great actress and, even with a little padding, she'd still be loved and she'd still be gorgeous. She started showing more when she was faking being pregnant for Bianca!

So, I have a question about the whole "whose biological baby is it?" storyline. Sorry if this has been discussed already. I am a few days behind. I watched last Friday's episode today. OK, If Greenlee's eggs supposedly thawed out because of the blackout, wouldn't Ryan's sperm have done the same? So, how are they going to pull this one off? Any ideas? I am really confused.

Was it anymore obvious that they use Amanda for her looks. I mean really what kind of hospital gown was she wearing, Calvin Klein!

I'm not sure if it is or not - only because it's so obvious that everyone thinks it's her (does that make sense? )

Also - get past this Jonathan thing now. I thought the abuse storyline was the best & if they were going to have him turn good I think they should have rehabilitated him that way. He played a great "guy to hate" role.

Thanks so much for posting pictures of Greenlee's dress, Carla! It was so neat to see it (and to see its size, as compared to your suitcase! And to see your cats enjoying it, too - I can appreciate that - we have 5 cats! 3 of them are "AMC" fans and watch with us, every night! )!

I would add Gillian to the list of people in PV whom we miss! And Marian, too - we haven't seen her in ages! And where the heck are Liza and Colby? Doesn't Adam care about searching for them, any more? Does he remember that they exist?

Somebody actually DID bring Amanda her fancy hospital lingerie - remember when Myrtle came by, a few days ago, and said "I wanted to bring you some things from home, to make you feel more at home, here?" I guess Myrtle went into Amanda's underwear drawer to bring her her fancy nightie!

I like the fact that JR is sort of acting protective of Babe and being nice to her.........though it IS sort of weird to see.........I don't blame Dr. Jamie for those puzzled looks that he was giving JR, yesterday (Jamie walks around with a puzzled expression on his face, most of the time!).

I'm getting bored with the baby storyline..........I wish that they would just let us know what Kendall's secret is, already. I really thought that it was going to turn out to be Zach's baby, but now it's looking more like it's going to (biologically) be Kendall's and Ryan's (.........and I REALLY HOPE that that doesn't mean that Ryan and Kendall are going to get back together when Greenlee leaves! On the other hand........having Ryan with Kendall is better than putting him with Julia, which is the other thing that I think they might be "hinting at" / leaning toward........). Likewise, the Lavery's. Jonathan's acting is wonderful, but I really don't see how they can expect that everyone would forgive him so quickly. Erin is totally useless. I really hope that they don't match her up with Aidan - they barely give Anita anything to do - they should have them continue their relationship! (Or maybe put HIM with Julia, so that he could say that he dated 3 of the Santos sisters! )
