Well just saw today's episode, yeah Kate Collins. The problem is she is so good that she makes some of the other actors not look so good. Oh I wish she'd stay forever!

Kate Collins was hilarious today, but I'm confused. How can "Natalie" come back as "Janet"? Was Kate Collins the last actress that played Janet? I thought is was Robin Mathi...................something or other?

I am now flying to WDW for the next 30 trips! I can actually DO a short weekend, and thourghly ENJOY myself! Yes, there were some crazy women as usual at SSW, but I found some really Funny ones too. Like the pair that was waiting over by Star Tours (my secret/not secret place) commenting on the "attitudes" of some of the 'not so happy' stars as they walked by. Too funny. What is it with the HIGH HEELED shoes some women were wearing? Its a THEME park, not a Ball for crap sakes! Lets see, how many more days till NEXT SSW!?

Yeah, I think that Natalie was Janet's sister, but I just didn't think that Kate Collins ever played Janet. I thought she only played Natalie. Seeing her today confused me.

When the role of Janet was initially cast, Kate Collins played her as well as the role of Natalie. She dressed up in a dark brown wig and black glasses for the role of Janet. That was during the time when Janet threw Natalie down the well. I think Janet became pregnant with Amanda by impersonating Natalie if I remember correctly and tricking Trevor. I think also during that time she killed Dixie's brother Will with a crowbar. Anyway, Natalie ended up raising Amanda in the early years because Janet was in jail. When Kate Collins left the role of Natalie, they recast another Natalie. That Natalie was killed in a boating explosion. After that point is when they recast the role of Janet which is when Robin Mattson came on. They explained the change in Janet's face with plastic surgery. Either way, I like both Robin Mattson and Kate Collins equally. Too bad Natalie couldn't be found alive - played by Kate Collins and Robin Mattson brought back as Janet.

Very good explanation. Remember when she was on with Jeremy. Now that was a great storyline. I actually like Robin or Natalie in this role. Just goes to show you how these so called "veterans" can act circles around all these preschooler's they have in front burner storylines.

I love Kate Collins, she was always so wonderful, and I LOVE the brown hair. But, I still have a problem, since Robin Mattson was Janet after plastic surgery and now she has her old face back LOL. Oh well. I wish they could just bring Robin Mattson back and have Janet be normal like she was when she was with Trevor.

Funny how we all neglect to remember that horrible bleach blonde that played Natalie when she was blind and got her site back from the Christmas angel on the tree!!!!!

It's driving me crazy....who is Tim Dillon's mother?? I can't for the life of me remember.

That was too funny about Thorsten Kaye's response to the question....even if he wasn't with someone, did they really think he'd say "Nobody, so how about it?"

I could barely maneuver in my sneakers, I don't know how these people did the whole day in heels. I'm going to post my experience as a trip report since, aside from having Zach Slater's arms around me, the entire trip was a nightmare. Looking back, I can laugh about it, but while it was all happening, it wasn't so funny.

I bought Greenlee's dress...the pink one with the white flowers. She lived in that dress for about 15 episodes and I had to have it.

Tim's mother is Natalie. There was question whether his father was Jeremy or Jeremy's father for a while.

I think Janet is going to had some much needed spice to the show for a while.

I forgot to tell you all that Rebecca was there. I know Mona, Faith and I discussed whether or not she would be there with her hubby, who hosted Wide World of Soaps. I was watching the grand motorcade on Sunday (near the back of the stage and hat area) and Rebecca came out with Bob and everyone started cheering for her and she waved. She stayed behind stage the whole time though.

I got my pictures developed last night and my pictures with Jack and Aiden came out sooooo good! I will get them scanned this weekend hopefully and then post them for you all. I have some other good ones too.

Usually they are not too bad and managable. This year though was worse, it was so crowded that I had to leave the park to get some quiet time for about 2 hours. I think this year was busier because it was the 10th anniversary and a few of the more popular people were there......Steve Burton, Kelly Monaco to name a couple. Sunday was much better.

Hi Everyone! I love the most recent stories that you all posted - about your experience with Thorsten Kaye, Carla, and your conversation with Kelli Giddish, Mona, and your "running into the actors" at the American Adventure, Christine! And I can't believe what you were all saying about how the crazy women act - dressing up, pushing people around, being rude..........to be honest, THAT'S why I never go to SSW. As exciting as it must be to see and interact with the Soap Stars, I would NOT be able to handle the rudeness and the crowds and the attititudes! It would be wonderful to meet you all, in person..........maybe in WDW on a weekend OTHER than SSW! But I do enjoy hearing all of your recaps, though! I just don't think that I have the "stamina" to deal with all those people, all that waiting, and the pushiness, etc. Anyway, can't wait to see more pictures and hear more of your accounts of the weekend!

So glad to see Kate Collins back, too! And I agree with what many of you said - I think that both she and Robin Mattson have done a fantastic job in the role of Janet (and I DO remember the horrible Natalie who experienced the "Christmas Angel Miracle", too! )! I would have loved to see Kate Collins somehow come back as Natalie, and Robin Mattson come back as Janet, just so that both of them could be on the show (and "fight" over Amanda) at the same time! Anyway, it's great to see Kate back, acting "unbalanced" as ever - she is going to add some much-needed comic relief to the show! And I guess that Janet's brown hair explains why Amanda was blonde as a child........but grew up to be a brunette?

I just don't GET Babe! DOES she really love JR? Or does she just sort of care about him for Little A's sake? Or does she really despise him and is only sort of trying to get him over to her side for more time with Little A? Her rationale for doing the things that she does is very confusing! Still, I have to admit, they do have chemistry together - a lot more than she and Jamie ever did!

So glad that Kendall now knows that Zach DID come to see her and that he DID tell her that he loves her! After all that Kendall has done for Greenlee (and after all the times that she tried to help Ryan and Greenlee get back together, etc.), Greenlee was so selfish not to tell Kendall that Zach had come to see her.

Speaking of Greenlee, that's so neat that you bought her dress, Carla! I guess that people have the opportunity to buy select pieces of wardrobe from the various shows? Or did you win an auction? I think that you made a good choice - I always thought that Greenlee has the overall best wardrobe on the show!

So glad to hear that Bianca and Miranda will be coming back for the holidays! At least they're not just "leaving" her in Paris, hoping that we forget about her (as they did with characters like Mia - moving away to CA and then never being heard from or about, again) - I'm glad that they have her come back for "realistic" occasions, like Erica's wedding and the holidays!

IASW Rider, you could buy things from the set at the store that had a line to get in. I think there is an auction though....I heard Susan Lucci talking about it. Some of the stuff was pricey, some wasn't. Greenlee's dress wasn't too pricey - probably because nobody else could wear it. It CLAIMED to be a size 2, but my mother is a size 2 and she couldn't get into it. Kendall's pants were a 00 and DH says she's about my height, maybe an inch shorter. I took them into the dressing room for the heck of it. It was all good until I got to the hips....it went downhill from there. How does she avoid hips??

I have very little patience, but the crowds generally didn't bother me. It was pretty cut-throat though and you really need an insider's point of view. The guy at the Swan was telling everyone the park didn't open until 9am (liar!). No cars were being let in and Disney transportation wasn't operative. I talked to one girl who took a cab to the entrance and walked through the parking lot at 5:45am! Once you get in and get the Fast Passes for what and who you want to see, it's pretty much like a typical day trying to get into an attraction (pushing and shoving to get into the front row). The people in the stand-by line can complain all they want once you get that Fast Pass.

I only vaguely remember Kate Collins and she looks completely different than how I remember her when she was Dimitri's "Natalia".

I sincerely hope they don't hook up Aidan and Erin. What happened with Anita? Are we supposed to forget that they were together before she left for CA?

I can't take anymore of Jamie in the lab coat.

The scenes with Lily and Jonathan were very moving, as were the scenes with Amanda and Janet.

Jack in the blue sweater-thing....not hot. Man-breasts are never hot.

I see Cameron Matheson in a totally new light. I snapped a picture of him at SSW that is just beautiful (I never really liked him, but figured what the hay and snapped the picture). I no longer want Zach to rip his head off.

Why does JR care WHY Babe is coming onto him?? He's a guy, she's gorgeous....do we really think in real life some guy is going to go questioning that?!?

If I ever find the time and energy to load the pictures onto the computer, I'll post some of them. They came out really good (DH says I should send them to Soap Opera Digest). I can't take ALL the credit though....those people are so good-looking.
