In the Wide World of Soaps show someone asked Aiden what his next love interest on the show will be. He said he thought Erin would be good. Not liking that one.

Jamie (or now James as JR calls him) is probably grooming to be chief of staff by summer so Dr Joe can retire.

Cameron Mathison is sooooo gorgeous. Those eyes I don't like what they are doing with his character because I can't stand 'Ryan' anymore.

We were talking about this during the show today. They have made us like the character we used to hate and dislike the ones we used to love.

I had a feeling that Aiden and Erin might jest come about....am still behind though in watching...guess I picked up a bug on the shippiepoo....feelum like cruddum.....thank goodness for PVR's......maybe I will have a marathon watching session this weekend..Kinda like it sometimes when I can watch a whole week (or 2) in a row....no cliffhangoveritis....instand Friday to Monday gratification.....

You know - I really love this thread ! I have been an AMC fan for so many years. We watch the soap over dinner every day. I'm thankful for my VCR.

It's great to see the funny comments on Jamie in his lab coat. Doesn't he ever have class time?

It was also great to see Kate Collins again.

I noticed the lab coat/sweater/shirt thing, too. I found it funny that he could have ALL that on and Amanda was perfectly comfortable in her little hospital gown with the short sleeves. He didn't even appear hot.

I also adore the little roomie thing Kendall and Greenlee have going on. When I see them in those beds, all I can picture are the grandparents from Willie Wonka in that big bed laying head-to-toe. I want to be treated at Pine Valley Hospital....apparently, you get to choose your roomie. You also get a cordless phone in your room. Nice.

They're going to milk this Zach/Kendall thing until none of us care anymore. He'll probably kiss Anita and Myrtle a few times and then his love for Kendall will be revealed.

Another thumbs down for Jamie. I used to love his character and now they have him doing the stupidest things. I thought one went to college and graduated, then applied for medical school, and maybe 2 years in you get a lab coat. They morph kids into grownups, mechanics into almost doctors in 3 months (must be a correspondence school), yet Erica Kane will never hit her 50s.....

I love those comments, DopeyRN and Carla (about the PV "speedy-educational-track" and Zach kissing every other woman in PV before he gets around to telling his own wife that he loves her!) Very funny!

And ditto on everyone's comments about Jamie and the lab coat! I almost threw up, the other day, when JR came by and he told him that he was reading about heart transplants...........huh???? He can understand medical journals all of a sudden? I'm a grad student in a health-related field and even I can't always understand medical journals!! You're all right - he'll follow in his uncle Jake's footsteps (if you recall, HE never graduated from medical school, either - he went right from being a resident to being Chief of Staff), in no time at all! Heck, while they're at it, I wouldn't be surprised if Josh morphed into a master surgeon overnight, one of these years, since they've reminded a us a few times lately that he went to medical school, then gave up his career to become Erica's right-hand-man. No doubt his medical training will somehow help him figure out that he is really Erica's son and Kendall's brother............

I was also so frustrated with Zach and Kendall, yesterday, and I felt so badly when Greenlee returned from her little moonlight jaunt with Ryan, and Kendall was lying there feeling so badly because of what Zach didn't say............. (I liked your Willie Wonka analogy, too, Carla! )

I have nothing against Cameron Mathison - he seems like a very nice person, every time I've seen him interviewed, and he's certainly not hard to look at! I just can't stand what they've done with Ryan's character, as many of you were saying. And the thought of Erin and Aidan together - blech! (I can't believe that he implied that that might happen, Mona!) And I can't believe that Anita has been back in town for weeks, and she and Aidan haven't even run into one another, yet. It's also weird how people are seeing Julia all over the place, now, but no one is shocked. She was in the witness protection program for years, no one knew that she was coming back to town, and yet when she's out in public (ie: like when she came to confront Ryan about Jonathan, the other day) no one (ie: Erica, Jack, or Livia) is surprised to see her - it's like she was there all along! And she hasn't even seen her Mama, since she's been back in town, either!

Loved that scene with Janet, Krystal, and Babe, in the Chandler living room, yesterday - they were all brilliant and hillarious! I hope that Janet stays around for awhile - she is so much fun to watch! I'd forgotten how funny Kate Collins could be, since I immediately remember her as serious, refined Natalie ("Natalia!"), rather than as crazy Janet ("Janushka"! )! The incredulous expressions on Babe's and Krystal's faces, when they started to realize how unbalanced Janet is, were priceless!

Thanks so much for the explanation about how the sale and the process at SSW work, Carla! It's so neat that there were pieces available from AMC! Was it just wardrobe, or were there props from the set, too? Please post your pictures - if you have a chance to do so - and you'll also have to post a picture of yourself wearing Greenlee's dress! I think that it's so cool that you have it!

IASW Rider....the only way I'm wearing Greenlee's dress is as a tube top wrapped lengthwise around my chest. I'm nearly 6ft tall and this thing is about 2ft in length. There is no way it's a real size 2 because my mother is only 5' tall and a size 2 and she couldn't zip it up. I actually took a funny picture (not with the digital, with DH's disposable) of me, with my pants rolled up, holding the dress in front of me with an exasperated look on my face. It's so funny....if I had 2, it would make a really pretty bra. I'll lay it out on the floor and take a picture of it with the digital and post it. You don't really appreciate how tiny she is until you hold her clothes. That sounded really odd.

You could also buy some props, but I really didn't recognize them. They had some jewelry, too, but most of it was Maggie's and it all looked really cheap. They had some beautiful ballgowns and wedding dresses, too. Maybe next year they'll have Jamie's Lab Coat.

Is it going to come out that Dr. Madden took Erica's eggs to fertilize with his sperm to create Josh? He did say she was "desperate" to have a baby and he went to some sort of extreme lengths to make that happen for her.

I also wonder this: Does anyone from Alexander Cambias' past see Zach in the news and put it all together? He's been out there with the casino and the shooting and the Dragon thing. For someone who is in hiding, he's not exactly discreet. On top of that, does anyone who knew the REAL, dead Zach Slater hear about "Zach Slater" and wonder what's up?? I just find it funny that Alexander Cambias appears to not have a past....yet it was so intriguing that he had to kill himself off.

Okay...so Jamie just started med school...but is now working on any major case that comes thru the hospital, because he just happens to be there....

Does it seem to anyone else that Jonathon is retarded now? Sorry, I know that's not the PC term but I can't think of the right word. Suddenly after surgery he acts like a 4 year old and when I saw him in the baseball cap and suit today it dawned on me they are making him out to have the mind of a child now. I thought he was supposed to be normal after surgery? And btw, is anyone else getting the idea he may be faking it?

I agree with you. They are making him out to be more mentally handicaped that I would think he would be. At least he should be in occupational therapy.

Tenor-- Dia nd Zach kissed because they were both lonely or something. Didn't make sense when it was on the first time either. After meeting Kelly Giddish (Di) as SSW it is hard for me to dislike her character even though I really want to.

Long concealed truths come tumbling out, starting when Greenlee figures out what Kendall's been hiding from her on Tuesday, November 22. Maybe the gal pals aren't as tight as we think, because on Monday, November 28, Mrs. Slater can't deny Greenlee's accusations! Ryan offers to take his wife away from all of her troubles on Tuesday, November 29, while Zach gives his wife comfort of a different sort when he finally tells Kendall how he really feels on Thursday, December 1 ..Could her response have anything to do with the harsh words Zach has for Ryan on Friday, December 2? Meawhile, what's that we hear? It's skeletons rattling in Di's closet when JR makes public a secret about his faux mom on Wednesday, November 23. Not to be outdone, on Wednesday, November 30, Tad prepares to unearth the truth about Greg's mysterious past!


So....let me get this straight.....to further drag out the story...Zach finally tells Kendall, but because he told off Ryan, she is going to ignore it and pretend like she doesn't care....good lord....you'd think this was a soap opera.. er sumptin...

After Babe takes a tumble down some stairs, both Jamie and JR look to put the blame on Amanda Though she immediately denies playing any part in the accident, Ms. Dillon secretly consults with Anita to see if head injuries like the one she sustained in the car accident could cause her to black out. To the young woman's dismay, Nurse Santos says they could. JR demands that Babe rest and heal at the Chandler mansion, which angers Adam. Imagine the elder Chandler's rage when JR also invites his son's mother to the annual feast. JR get's a puzzling videotape in the mail, and it's a video that features DI from years ago as a stripper.

I have had the thought, but I really hope not, because I am really enjoying his performances right now. The look on his face in that cell, when Jack was yelling at him was amazing!!! I had thought maybe, but seeing how he plays with Lilly the other day I'm not so sure now. Before when he was nasty, he would play nice, but still show some evil and creepy, but he shows none now. I like him the way he is.

And according to another site we are in for a Kendall/Ryan reunion eventually. This is a very reliable site, according to it, Zach and Kendall will get close but TPTB are planning a Kendall/Ryan reunion.

Hi Everyone!

Sorry - as always, I didn't read the spoilers, so I can't comment on them!

I'm sure that you would look great in Greenlee's dress, Carla! And I'm sure that it IS tiny! But hey - you were brave enough to try on Kendall's pants - and that is a tremendous accomplishment - so I say you try on Greenlee's dress, too! But definitely take a picture of it - or post the one of you holding it up, if you have a chance! It's so neat that they had wardrobe, jewelry, and some props for sale! Just to see them up close must have been cool!

I was also puzzled / frustrated when Zach and Di kissed last week, Tenorsinging and Mona - but it was pretty funny when Di admitted to Julia ".....you'll never believe what I did - I threw myself at Zach Slater", to which Julia responded "I DID, TOO!" I just wish that he and Kendall would set aside their respective pride(s) and admit their feelings for one another, already. As much as I love Greenlee, it makes me mad every time she tells Kendall that Zach is bad for her - it's like she wants Kendall to be alone so that she can just concentrate on the baby, even though Greenlee obviously sees hints of the fact that Kendall and Zach could have something real together. I just think it's very selfish of her, especially since Kendall is so supportive of her and Ryan (which must hurt Kendall inside, to some extent).

I liked how Dr. Dave miraculously reappeared on the scene, just in time to help Greenlee with her plan - if you need someone to steal medical records, whip up a magical potion, or fix a medical test, call on Dr. Dave and he will appear! I refuse to believe that Greenlee would have been able to immediately spot an inconsistency with the test, though - after Greg said that she wouldn't understand what she was looking at, if she looked at the results, and after David didn't notice anything odd, right off the bat. I do like that David still considers Greenlee family, though - and that they both have obviously not forgotten about Leo. (Why, oh why can't LEO "come back from the dead"??!!)

Wow - that's going to be some Thanksgiving dinner at the Chandler mansion.......with Babe, Tad, AND Di there.........all they'll need is Amanda and / or Janet showing up, and there will be some REAL fireworks! (By the way, did anyone else wonder whether Janet REALLY went home, when she called Amanda, yesterday.....or whether she just PRETENDED to go home, and was really hiding somewhere in PV??? I just have a feeling that she will "pop up" again, when we least expect her to do so.......just like Janet did, in the good old days!) Anyway, I can't believe that Tad would agree to leave the Martins (most notably his own son, Jamie) behind, to have dinner with JR and co., just to "spy" on JR's behalf. I know that he and JR share the "we-feel-betrayed-by-Di-bond", but it just seems odd that Tad would so quickly drop his plans with his own family to join the circus that is sure to be a Chandler Family Holiday!

Does anyone else want to strangle Amanda?????!!!! I can't stand that girl! Just when they sort of started to "redeem" her by showing her vulnerable side (".......if I die, do you think I'll see Harold in heaven?....."), they make her totally mean and unreasonable with Babe and Derek. I was sure that she was going to make her own wheelchair go down the stairs to make it look like Babe pushed her and was trying to kill her "for real" - instead, I guess that she pushed Babe, somehow?

I refuse to believe that the judge would have so easily let Jonathan go free. Jack just got finished saying that there was insufficient medical evidence to "prove" that Jonathan is now harmless.........and the judge said that there was "overwhelming medical evidence" to prove just that! I'm glad that they are moving that storyline along, but I can understand why Jack, Aidan, and especially Sam and Julia would be furious (I guess Anita couldn't get the day off from the hospital to support them in court).

SW Rider: Definately feeling ya on the Amanda front. Here's the deal....they throw so many of these newbies at us...hoping some of them will stick, and to a degree, I do understand trying to tap new talent for the longevity of the show...HOWEVER!!!!! In doing so, they forget about the vet's who have provided this longevity before hand, and we are invested in them, and enjoy seeing their screen time. Everytime I see Amanda getting screen time, I think about what a waste it is, and how that time could have been given to a nice Palmer/Opal bantering or something like that, that we have enjoyed so much in the past, but do not get to see anymore...BECAUSE...we have to see the "Amanda's".....

Tenor I couldn't agree more with you. I mean really Amanda immediately thrown in front burner storyline, Jamie all of a sudden a doctor. Very annoying. The younger performer thought descent actors and I'm sure will get better just can't compare to the vets. It's almost embarrsing to see them up again Brooke or Adam or Opal. I better get more coffee and stop whining!
