Ally & Jack - I would highly recommend meeting Tad on the second day. He is such a sweet guy and he really takes his time and talks to everyone in his line. Some sign, pose and say next but MEK takes his time, asks questions, hugs on ya. You can tell he really loves his fans!

DRUNK JR AND BABE IN A HIT & RUN!
Busted! Babe suspects that Amanda is trying to trap Jamie into marriage by drugging him and she enlists Josh to help her get evidence against the schemer. Babe brings drug sniffing dogs that expose Amanda's plan. After Jamie breaks up with Amanda, she goes on the warpath and gets into a huge catfight with Babe. Then, Babe worries when JR has too much to drink, and she can't stop him from driving. They end up crashing the car and hitting Amanda! Kendall realizes that she is really in love with Zach. To test his true feelings, she challenges him to a divorce. And, Greenlee and Kendall get caught in a fire. Will Ryan come to their rescue? »

Budig to Exit AMC By Year's End

Though it is still unconfirmed by ABC, soapcentral.com is again reporting that Rebecca Budig (Greenlee Smythe) is poised to leave All My Children when her contract expires later this year. It was back in May that soapcentral.com first reported that Budig had decided to leave the show.

According to an inside source, Budig informed network execs earlier this year that she wanted to leave the show. By giving such advanced notice, Budig is said to have wanted to give the show's writers adequate time to wrap up her storylines. The decision to exit the show is strictly that of Budig and is not a result of budget cuts or other network-related issues.

During her tenure with All My Children, Budig has earned two Daytime Emmy nominations. Before joining the cast of the ABC soap in August 1999, Budig appeared as Michelle Bauer on CBS's Guiding Light.

There were rumblings this summer that AMC might try to recast the role of Greenlee. At the present time, however, it is looking less and less likely that the show will opt to go that route. Instead Greenlee will exit the canvas when Budig leaves the show.

All My Children is not Budig's only acting job at the moment. She currently hosts "Full Frontal Fashion" on the WE network. The show is currently in its second season. Rumors have already surfaced that Budig may jump ship to another soap -- one of the more inventive stories has Budig joining General Hospital as Brenda Barrett. But an insider tells soapcentral.com that Budig simply wants some time to herself and time to enjoy her relatively new married life. Budig is married to Bob Guiney, the star of an installment of ABC's "The Bachelor" and occasional pitchperson for ABC's Daytime lineup.

A final airdate has not yet been announced for Budig. The actress will, however, continue to air through November.

SPOILERS FOR THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 31ST


Greenlee is furious when she realizes that Jonathan is still alive.

Greenlee ignores Ryan's desperate attempts to explain Jonathan's brain tumor and promptly signs the divorce papers.

Ethan listens in as Zach gives advice to Greenlee, encouraging her to tell Ryan the truth about the baby.

After overhearing what his father had to say, Ethan goes to Greenlee, telling her what a terrible mistake it would be for the baby to grow up not knowing his Father.

Erin and Jonathan quietly arrive in Pine Valley.

Greenlee is horrified upon seeing Jonathan and runs away from him.

Greenlee and Kendall find themselves dangerously trapped by a fire.

Zach and Ethan find common ground, making peace with one another.

Kendall tells JR the truth about the baby, adding that she is in love with Zach.

Zach rebuffs Julia's advances towards him.

After Julia is done putting Kendall down, Zach throws her out of his casino.

Zach tries to hide the irritation he feels after witnessing JR, kiss Kendall.

Ryan and Julia douse their sorrows together at a roadside bar.

Kendall loses her temper upon seeing Ryan and Julia together, leading to a nasty confrontation between Kendall and Julia.

Amanda steps up her plans to get Jamie to marry her.

Erica lectures Josh after she spies him kissing Babe.

Josh witnesses Amanda buying drugs from a dealer.

Babe confronts Amanda with what she has learned from Josh, telling her she knows full well what she is planning to do, in order to get Jamie to marry her.

JR breaks up a fight between Amanda and Babe.

Babe is stunned by JR's announcement, realizing he isn't through with using little Adam to torment her with.

A very drunken JR gets into his car with Babe jumping in after him, only to watch in horror as he runs down Amanda with his car.

As David reaches out to Di, Palmer insists she be arrested for fraud.

JR decides to not go after Di legally, sparing her life.




SNEAK PEEK AT NEXT WEEK

Ryan arrives in the nick of time as Kendall and Greenlee desperately try escaping the fire.

Ryan learns the truth about Kendall after Greenlee screams for Ryan to save Kendall first due to her condition.

Greenlee and Ryan begin to grow close again after he assures her that he is ok with the baby, and isn't going anywhere.

Greenlee becomes suspicious of Kendall and Greg when it becomes evident that Kendall is keeping something from her.

Jonathan apologizes to Lily.

Babe lies to the police to protect JR, telling them that it was she who caused the accident.

Zach and Di share a kiss.

Zach proclaims his love to Kendall, as she lay unconscious in the hospital.



FALL PREVIEW


JR falls in love with Babe all over again.

Janet Green returns to town.

Erin and Aidan have an explosive and tense first meeting.

Greenlee gets the shock of her life.

Di refuses to give up on Tad.

Zach and Kendall are falling in love, but can't admit it to one another.

I think maybe they are setting up the easy way out of this baby mess....Kendall will somehow miscarry.

And Budig can come back to AMC any time in the future or they can recast -- anything is believable since the return of Di and Jonathan.

I have been watching the show some, more fast forwarding than watching. I will be grateful when the show pics up. General Hospital is really getting good and has been for a while.....if only AMC would get that way. *sigh*

I am bummed about Rebecca leaving, I always thought of her as a mini Erica and thought that once Susan leaves (if??) that Greens would be the next Diva. I would hate to see her recast though.

I usually watch the show at 8pm on SoapNet and I've fallen asleep during most of them recently. I loved Kendall diving at Julia...too funny. I wish they would hurry up with the Josh storyline - at least it'll be something new. I wonder who they'll have Erin hook up with....um...hook up with FIRST, I should say.
