arrrggghh! Doesn't the Constitution apply in Pine Valley?!

How can Derek secretly tape inside Tad's house? He says he had a court order, but what is it about tapes done without either party aware that they're being taped? How is this legal? And he threatens Tad with all kinds of stuff - including revoking his PI license.

MAN!!!! It is terribly hard to get used to the new filming technique. It reminds me of like NYPD Blue or The Office (I love The Office!!) It's sort of "Off-Putting" for a daytime soap.

I also want to make an obvious little observation about the "aging" of the children!!!! Colby should be maybe 10 at the most. AND, this is good, I was pregnant at the same time as Dixie(was with "Junior" J.R. used to be called!)and MY son is merely 17. Now that's "Off-Putting" to me!!!! Soap Opera Math

Speaking of Derek, The new Derek could smile once in a while!!!!

There was something that Colby said that I thought was REALLY funny...

She was making phone calls trying to get that band for her birthday party.
She was trying to get through Jesse MaCartney's people so she said: " Yeah - Like _ we used to be related or someting".

Did anybody catch that ?

I caught that! She said something like "we were kind of related 2 or 3 marriages back there" or something like that. I thought it was hysterical!

The new lighting/cameras make everyone look like they're in a bad old movie.
Soap Opera Digest reported that the are "experimenting" and may change them back. I hope so, if only for sales of Susan Lucci's skin-care line!

When I was watching the scene with Babe and Colby, I was thinking to myself that they need to do something with Babe - Colby makes her look homely. Brush her hair. Put some mascara on her. How about laying off the self-tanner so she doesn't look orange?

I am so bored with every single storyline. I want something new. This is worse than the Proteus storyline they played out for 100 years.

My "new" theory on the Madden murderer. Actually, one of my DD's mentioned this & I think she could be right.

She said that maybe Terry killed Madden. I think it could be possible - maybe Terry was afraid that Madden was going to expose who Kate's adoptive parent's were. Ya think?????

I was thinking it was Terry too. That really wouldn't be that farfetched for AMC and then none of our favs would be in trouble.

I was glad to see Jack & Erica actually together and acknowledging that they do nothing together. How long were they happy? About 2 seconds?

I've only been an occasional watcher this summer and with the new camera stuff and all the new characters, it's hard to recognize AMC.

VERY possible! I'm pretty sure it isnt Dixie and Zach. That looks too obvious (even with the DNA and fingerprints) Just to throw everyone off the scent.

I used to love Dixie! I loved her when she had that ultra short pixie haircut years ago (that didnt match her character)

Colby's voice sounds familier. Is she a voice-over for something??

I will be missing the show, maybe thats a good thing, for about 3-4 days, longer if the lights go out for 15 days like last year. Maybe by than: SOMEONE will have admitted to killing Maddon, Ditsie and Zach will have left the show, Babe and JR will be back together, and Colby will be working at the Hospital over Julia and the DRUNK Camera will be gone! Hey, a girl can dream can't she?

Just watched today's episode. I am soooooo confused now. Which sides of Tad's story is more believeable? Ryan has just nailed Zach's coffin in front of Kendall too. Didn't Tad say that he made that all up to torment Dixie? Is Ryan for real or not? Did he always tell Kendall to trust Zach? If it is all an art to win a popularity contest, he wins hands down.
I am really mad that "good guys" don't last in Pine Valley.

It sounds to me like Tad was telling the truth or he wouldn't have told JR all of that and he wouldn't be leaving town. But, what does Ryan think he knows? So, is the plan to convict Zach and then he goes to jail and is off the show or to get him off and Kendall leaves him and he moves away? Probably the latter, since Dixie would get convicted with him and she needs to be around to take Kate back from the child molester. Whew! That's alot of drama!!

Most of todays episode was tele-interupted with Utah news!!! I'll have to wait till tomarrow. I leave for the MOTHER LAND in 6 days!!!!! I'll have to record it from the 5th -15th. Or, maybe I'll just watch the 15th and hope the story lines have moved along!

I think this show has been a real yawn fest for most of the summer. Although summer is usually slow to begin with (remember poor Natalie was trapped in the well until after Labor Day! ) I really don't like the whole thing with Zach and Dixie..I don't know what they are doing there....I'm not enjoying the whole re-make of Dixie into "Miss Less than Perfect". I think they would have been better off bringing her back straight from her coma or something. But it's hard to get past the fact that she gave the child away..rather than to her husband even if she did think she was dying. She did have family that could have provided for her child. She wasn't one of these young single mom's without support that former Dr. Sleeze would prey upon. Anyway...lets MOVE ON.....I can literally tune this show in on soap net once or twice a week and not miss a beat. OH...and after Babe standing by J.R. through all this crap..she is suddenly going to have feelings for Josh???
Jeeze if she was going to drop J.R. one would have thought she wind up back with Jamie...just doesn't ring true. But then again..it is Pine Valley!
