Erica was pregnant with Jeff Martin's child when she had the abortion. Madden would have the file on the family because he'd be interested in Josh's birthfamily. Especially given the "explanation" he gave Tad about having that file (his interest in families in which many members are doctors), might be a hint as to why he chose this intended abortion to be the one he would "adopt", as he clearly wants his son to be a doctor, too.

ohhhhh ok. it DOES make alot of sense now. i think the martin/kane thing was before i started watching it. i think she was marrying tom when i frst started watching AMC. i just hope this whole storyline doesn't drag out into summer.

Ok, we all thought that the Josh was Kendall's twin concept was bad, it sounds like, to me, that it is going to end up with Josh being the baby that Erica (tried to) abort? That is just too nasty for words. If Josh found out (and he did find out something about Erica) that would explain why he is trying to destroy her. Blech. I hope I am wrong, that is just a really nasty storyline.

I was thinking along these exact same lines yesterday as I was watching........& you're right - BLECH!!! Could that storyline be any more far fetched, dumb & just plain old wrong on so many levels.

Did any of you guys catch Bobby Warner and Lily on The Book of Daniel last night???? Bobby is still dorky looking, but his character was pretty funny. Lily was, well, how can we say it, promiscuos (sp)? It was so weird to see her not being Lily!

I THOUGHT that was him, but I had NO CLUE that was Lily!!

as usual I am behind....sitting here watching last Wed...let me just say that I LOVE Myrtle and Zach's scenes together!!! They are such a hoot!!!...I hope that they keep it up. It's one of those wonderful side relationships

I can't get over watching "Lilly"....on Daniel the other night. I thought it was her...but can't get over not seeing her play the Lily role. Polar opposite of what she plays on AMC...which is probably the point.

Anything is possible on a soap. I mean look at Erica. She was on AMC in 1970 at the age (supposedly) of 18. That would make her about 53 or 54 now. Ok, Kendall was given up for adoption when Erica was 14, so that makes Kendall about 40 now. However she is really in her 20s on the show. J.R. and Jamie should be about 14 or so now. However they are in their 20s and one of them is a business exec, while the other is a doctor (without going to med school or residency.) I think you can see the point I am making. The story is 100% implausible, but anything is possible in Pine Valley. They even have an ocean front beach in Pennsylvania and a giant lake in a forest. Wonderful!

That is always the funniest thing to me - where is there ocean front property in Pennsylvania!

Also, I live in New York - it is cold in the winter - just like Pennsylvania. I never stand outside & have lengthy conversations with my friends/family - especially in light jackets & scarves! Get real & go inside!!!!!

I agree about the ages that Kendall should be ...and about the ages of the "kids"...Jamie..and JR....that's typical soap aging. But it drives me nuts when the try to tie a current storyline to something that supposedly happened years ago...forgeting that some of us actually may have watched years ago..and that it would in no way be possibly.

When Kendall rushed out of the room and yelled to Zack about the "baby" I said, out loud, WHAT BABY?? You don't even LOOK like you are preggers! (Yes, I talk out loud to the TV when AMC is on).

I agree with all of you - the thought that Greg "took" Erica's and Jeff's embryo and implanted it into his wife (thus creating Josh) occurred to me, too - YUCK!

In the mean time, did anyone notice how Ryan made a point to say (for the first time, ever) that Jonathan now has "the mentality of a 15 year old", yesterday? Lily is 15..........maybe that's how they are going to "justify" his being a grown man and being her "boyfriend"........I have a feeling that they are going to start throwing around the number 15 a lot, when they talk about Jonathan, to explain it in advance, if it happens that way...........

Loved Janet's conversation with her reflection in the mirror, yesterday, when she (talking about Di) said ".........what sort of person would assume another's identity and try to live their life???!!!" - the expression on her reflection's face, in response, was hilarious!

i know! wasn't that something for AMC, they usually don't show that much of that stuff. I, for one, was glad the kids were back in school and not on Christmas vacation, lol!
