I too wondered if Maureena would remember all the mess with Erica since she remembered HER delivering the baby.

Poor Aidan, I hope she doesn't remember her love for Aidan!

so what happened in the last 15 minutes of the show???? i had it on here at work and was listening to it, but someone came in and changed my channel!

i think i saw as far as edmund coming in and rescuing mia...and i saw maria talking about remembering the bit about singing the lullaby to maddie...oh and erica interrupting michael and kendall. poor kendall looked as if she was gonna throw up...

I've always noticed that most of their cell phones look like cordless phones. Bianca's is HUGE!

I thought it was great when Erica showed up at Michaels, and when she and Kendall spoke at the end! Keep it up!

Now, technically, Erica did not steal the baby right away. She took the baby for help, then got in a car accident and they thought she was dead. Then Esther had the baby and Erica found her, then took her away as her own LOL.

My son LOVED that baby. He was little when Maddy was born on TV and he would stop whatever he was doing to watch her on tv. I hadn't thought of that in years...........

Thanks for the great memories, I remember all those characters too. Elgerber: I remember that too, about Maria delivering the baby, Erica/La Lucci sure looked YOUNGER there, didn't she? Well, now that Maureena is now Maria, how will the show be any duller?! Oh, and how did Mia get the "bad guy" to leave Wild Wind? I missed that part, only saw 9 min of the show today!

Does anyone have yesterday's (Thur, 5/15) episode on tape? I ran out of tape and didn't get it. If someone has it and would be willing to snail-mail it to me, I would be ever so grateful! I will reimburse postage and either return the tape or send a new blank tape in return.

That's right - how could I forget about Esther?! I liked when she and Stuart kind of "fell in love".........but then remember a few years later, when he ran into her, when he had amnesia, and she made him think that he was married to her?

For anyone who missed the end of yesterday's show, Maureen remembered actually giving birth to Maddie, in that cabin, with Erica helping her. Maureen was overcome with emotion and was shaking and crying with happiness (like one of those "good Maria crying scenes" from the old days) and Aidan came to make sure that she was all right. Ed-dumb chased Flanders out of the house, but couldn't catch up with him, so he came back to make sure that Mia and Derek were all right. Flanders is now hiding in the woods near WildWind, with Ed-dumb's huge cell phone, waiting for Maddie to call, so that he can see the # on the phone's Caller ID and track her down. Joanie told Jack about Luis being in the alley on the day that he was shot, and Reggie feels betrayed that she told him. Erica found Kendall hiding at Enchantment, because she was too shaken up to go home, after Michael attacked her. She thanked Erica for saving her (.....because if she hadn't gotten there when she did, Michael probably would have raped Kendall), and it was very touching. I think that that's all that happened at the end of yesterday's show!

I've been saved! Someone over on PVB was kind enough to burn the episode onto a CD (don't ask my how, I haven't a clue!) and has already put it in the mail to me. She says she has been "capturing" AMC episodes and saving them as mpg files. Hey, it's all Greek to me but she assures me all I need is a regular CD drive to play it on my computer and that it's very high quality. Cool, huh? I'll let you know how it goes.

My screen name over there is DitsieHater and she asked if that was in reference to her beloved Dixie. Luckily she had already put the CD in the mail before I had the chance to tell her that that was exactly what my screen name referred to. hehe.

Haven't been reading recent posts as I haven't seen any of this week's shows yet. Will pop back in if I ever get caught up.

Hi Aprille! Glad you were able to get the copy of the show. I saw 10 min of the show today, and was wondering WHY Kendall's dress strap was torn?! I guess her and Michael got into it? Nice scene between Michael and his Dad--a chip off the old block!

Well, "three strikes, and we're out" - no acting Emmy's for "AMC", last night. We did win best Directorial team, and many of the artistic / technical awards (lighting, costumes, hair, set design). Lots of the "AMC" cast members were there, and I thought that they all looked great! Not quite sure about that musical number that they did, though.......I think that they could have picked better songs to showcase their singing voices - Maureena sounds better singing lullabies to Maddie on the show, than she did singing on stage last night! I was disappointed that AMC did not receive more acting nominations and especially that Greenlee did not win. I liked the montage of Emmy ceremonies of the past, though - it was neat to see Liza and Hayley with their 80's big hair, presenting awards!

Faith - Kendall's dress was torn because Michael tried to force himself on her, 2 days ago, but Erica showed up and interrupted them, so Kendall was able to escape.

Aprille - glad that you were able to get that episode! It will be neat to hear how it comes out, on DVD!

Has it really been a year since Ditsie "died"??? I didn't think that it had been that long! I liked how everyone showed up at Tad's house to comfort him. And it was great to see Ruth, there, again! Speaking of Ditsie, I thought that Cady McClain looked great at the Emmy's last night, too! She was nominated vs. Greenlee for Best Supporting Actress, but neither of them won.

I guess that Maria will totally have her memory back, by next week, since she now remembers her wedding to Ed-dumb????

I didn't think it had been a year since Ditsie's death either.

Why does AMC always seem to get passed up for awards? Makes me so mad. I missed the musical number and about an hour of the awards as youngest DS's school had their annual Ice Cream Social.

Last night, and I see we got NOTHING again! Who got what for the Main Awards? What show won? Did anyone NOT like Eva La Rue's dress last night?!! WHAT was that!? A lot of the dresses were UGLY, whats with the floral crap? Acckkk!

Hi Faith! Yeah, I also didn't think that Eva LaRue's dress was the most flattering for her. Very weird! "As the World Turns" was best daytime drama, Maurice Bernard ("GH", former Nikko Kelly on "AMC"!) was Best Actor, Susan Flannery (the one whom the idiots mistook for Susan Lucci, last year) was Best Actress, a guy from one of the other networks' soaps was Best Supporting Actor (maybe from "Guiding Light"?), and Vanessa Marcil ("GH") was Best Supporting Actress.

Thanks for the link, Pam! I agree with you, Faith - I'm not a big fan of Vanessa's, either - I don't think that she's such a great actress - Greenlee should have won!

Did anyone see the commercial for AMC during the Emmy's, where Maureen tells Ed-dumb "......I have something to tell you...."? It makes it seem as though she is going to have some big revelation and get her memory back, as soon as this week!

Hi all, back from my 4 days at Disney. It is so stinking hot here!! (I live about an hour west of Orlando in case some of you did not know). So that means I missed the show on Fri and today. Anything good happen. I bet the scenes between Erica and Kendall at Enchantment were good!
