I'm looking for some input on any experiences anyone has with all-inclusive resorts - doesn't matter where - Mexico, Carribean, etc...what the name of the resort was - how was it- and was it worth the money - just doing some longer term planning.

Thanks!

Did an "all inclusive" for our honeymoon in Cancun. Stayed at The Cancun Palace in November 2003.
Totally worth it - for us! It was so fun and great to not worry about paying for food....which was great by the way!

We loved it!

We went to Sandals St. Lucia about 7 years ago. It was horrible! It was really expensive too. The food was soooo gross. It seemed like they got your $$$ up front and then gave you as low-quality food as possible. The resort was not kept very clean. The worst part was the people who would swim up to the pool bar, get a drink, and then dump it in the pool when they didn't want it anymore. There were cups and disintegrating napkins floating around everywhere:crazy2: The "beach" was pretty gross, and it was populated with loads of people trying to peddle conch shells and other assorted things. We never went back to an all-inclusive after this trip.
