Oooh, more F&G pics, yay! I'm going to have to show these to M tomorrow morning, she is a HUGE fan of the Faires and will squeal when she sees them. They are so cute! I love how delicate they look too. The fairy houses are so darling! I'm planning to take my girls on a nature walk soon and we're going to build some fairy houses in the woods. They can't wait!

Hi Everyone, I'm sorry I've been MIA for a few days. I was in a personal funk and feeling down and not even DISing was going to help me. I'm feeling better though so I should be back on here again.

Just a personal note especially today, a family friend passed away last week from his year long battle with cancer. It was a hard and difficult battle he fought. I would like to ask for prayers to be said for his family during this rough time.


I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Easter!

LOL, I love your polite nudging. I don't know if Tink has been on my thread yet, I usually check out her TR. You aren't missing much in that photo. I think I had my head turned so you have the side of my face showing. Although her little boy is just so adorable. I was sorry to have missed his birthday party she had last week.

By the way I have a funny story to share. Be forewarned if you don't like bugs - don't continue reading. Last night or actually early this morning (1am) I was changing the sheets on the bed because one of the cats was so nice enough to decide he was going to puke on it. Now thats not the funny part. So there I am standing putting the last two pillow cases on when I hear a fluttering nose. I looked up at the ceiling fan thinking I hit it with the pillow as I was shaking it into place. Nope - it was a huge bug FLYING at me. I screamed, dropped the pillow case and ran out of the bedroom into the 2nd bathroom. Let me say I hate bugs, especially water bugs. This thing was a palmetto, which is like a water bug but flies. After a few mins I peeked out of the bathroom to see where my Shakespeare cat was (he's a great predator and loves to chase any bugs). Well he was sitting staring under the sofa. The next thing I know this thing comes out from the sofa and flies at me again. Off I go running around the house like a lunatic (yes, you can laugh because I'm laughing about it now). This thing flew into the kitchen and was hiding there because Shakes was perched and waiting for it to come out. So now I decide I have no choice, I have to vaccumm this thing up myself because DF is at work. I plug in the vaccumm and the darn thing comes flying at me again! He finally landed in the standing lamp and was just fluttering around in there. You had to see me with the hose of the vaccumm standing as far away as possible trying to suck this bug up. After about 10 mins I finally get a chair so I can reach this thing a bit better and finally sucked it up. I was so terrified, horrified and I hope this is the last time I'll ever see one of those things but something tells me that isn't the case because I'm in Florida. I hope I gave you all a good chuckle.

I would have been screaming too...David is my bug catcher, takes them outside and releases them...if he isn't here, I have to be brave.... Rachel can't stand them...especially spiders.... (I Know, they aren't insects but they are STILL creepy)

Oh, I completely empathize with being in a funk! I get into those moods too and not even DISing can break through! It's usually related to real life. I hope you're feeling less funky now.

Your bug story had me rolling! It is exactly what I would've done, play by play! I would have freaked! I cannot stand bugs, really. We had those stupid stink bugs all last fall and now they're coming back this spring. They're disgusting AND you can't just squash or vacuum them because they'll stink! Ugh, I make DH deal with all that, he's thrilled. I'm a big scaredy cat!

Thank you guys for understanding about the bug. I've realized there are very few bugs that don't make squirm - that would be the itty bitty ones like ants or very tiny spiders.

So Paul the Palmetto (yes I decided to name him) must have been traveling with his cousin Patrick because two nights later while watching DWTS with my fiancee, we had company. Thankfully DF was here. I ran out of the living room and into the bedroom with one of the cats. DF appreciated that I left him alone to battle the bug. I told him I dealt with Paul the other night, Patrick was all his.

Is anyone else excited about the Royal Wedding? Or are you tired of hearing about it? Tomorrow is a double excitement day for me - Royal Wedding in the morning and a shuttle launch in the afternoon. I'm hoping to be able to see something with the shuttle launch. I'm so sad to hear the space shuttle program is shutting down over here.
