I haven't really been on the DIS since my birthday. The past two weeks I've been insanely busy with school. This past week I had finals But I'm DONE!!!

I'll be back later tonight or tomorrow to catch up. We're all going out to dinner in a little bit. I get to see my two favorite little boys

I haven't really been on the DIS since my birthday. The past two weeks I've been insanely busy with school. This past week I had finals But I'm DONE!!!

I'll be back later tonight or tomorrow to catch up. We're all going out to dinner in a little bit. I get to see my two favorite little boys

Thank you for all the Mother's Day greetings. We hope you all had precious times with your families. Sadly, the weather interfered with us meeting in the middle for a Cracker Barrel meal, so my Mother's Day was not as good as it could have been. I won't complain much, though, because I will be in AL Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for Brooklynn's graduation and dance recital. I feel extremely blessed to have my kids and grandkids, so every day is a good mother's day - without being a capitalized holiday.

I did miss Joan this morning, but exciting things are happening for one of her granddaughters. She and her husband are in Arizona right now in the process of adopting a baby boy! After several miscarriages, they are elated! The call was unexpected, though, and they are going to have to stay in AZ for about four weeks before all of the legal stuff is done. Living in a hotel with no family around in a place you've never been is not the best start, but hopefully at the end of that, they will be bringing their little boy home to be loved forever. He is a lucky boy coming to an incredible family.

I did more relaxing than I expected, since our travel plans fell through. It was a messy day here. I actually took a short nap when I found my eyes closing as I was reading.

They said they are going to take the opportunity to explore AZ a bit. They can't leave the state, but other than that, they don't have any stipulations. Dawn and Rick, Michelle's parents, are going to go out there this week and stay four days. I know Michelle will be thrilled to have them there.

We've seen several pictures of the baby. They have named him Ty. He has pretty dark hair. He will be one loved little boy, and he will join the seven boy cousins from that group. We are apparently in charge of all the girl cousins.

We are hoping the process goes smoothly, too. They have had a lot of heartache, so we will pray fervently that this is the 'yes' answer to those prayers.
