Hi! Just got all caught up on everything I missed while I was gone. I have done absolutely nothing today. I slept until noon and have spent the day in my favorite chair, on my laptop I'm exhausted from the trip

My feet also don't really want me to get up. I'm glad I don't have to walk around campus until Monday I managed to avoid blisters this year though!
I hated leaving yesterday, but I wasn't as upset as I was last year since there's a good chance we'll go next year (
but my mom says I'm not allowed to talk about another trip for a few months, so don't tell her that I'm already talking about it
)
I've always wanted to see the gingerbread house at GF. A couple days after Christmas my mom and I went down to Newport, RI for the day, and at the Marriott there they had a big gingerbread lighthouse. It made me think of Disney
I feel the same way about GF. Definitely a pretty place, but a little too fancy for me. We definitely feel at home at WL.
I brought three rice krispie treats home with me. We haven't unpacked yet, and I completely forgot I brought them home until I saw this. I'm now munching on one of them, and snuggling under my new castle fleece throw. It's the one that you can get for about $18 with a purchase of $40 or more. I got it at the Boardwalk on Tuesday, when I bought an Eeyore plush and a pretty Boardwalk picture
That Pop food looks good! I already miss Disney meals! Actually I missed Disney meals last night at the airport. Very un-magical service at Sbarro at MCO. It probably seemed worse than it was because we had just come from Disney, but the people working there were really rude. Oh well, the food was good
It takes a little time to recover from a Disney trip.

I'm glad you had/have a couple of days before going back to school. For me, I don't truly let go of a trip until I can no longer say,
'This time last week, I was .........' After that, I am forced to give it up for real.
We won't tell your mom you are already talking about
another DISNEY trip. I wrote it in invisible ink. Highlight it, and you and I can see it, but we'll keep that a secret from Momsy.
I think it was raining because Mickey was sad that we were leaving on this day!
Yay for single digits! It will be here in no time. The girls look so excited to be pin trading. Was this their first time?
That was it! The skies cry when we leave I would say about 3/4 of the time.
Not single digits. Double digits. But we'll let you lead the cheer when it gets to singles!
YAY for double digits!
I've never stayed at POP before, so clarify for me---The CMs do some dinner dancing?
Yes ma'am, and anyone who wants to join them can get out on the dance floor and strut their stuff, too.
Given the option, how could you NOT choose a candy bar with Mickey on it??? You can get a Snickers anywhere!
I've never done the pin trading, but I can see how that would easily range from fun to hobby to obsessed! All of those pins look so pretty and shiny on the board!
The pins are interesting, and the girls enjoy it. They usually get some from ebay before they go on a trip and use those for trading.
Yeay for double digits!!!
That must mean we are getting close to our hundred day mark! Hurray! (I just went and checked -- 108 days for us!)
I'm with Stringbean, who wouldn't rather have a Mickey on their candy bar at Disney!
Have fun in Huntsville today, MeMom!
I did have fun. The girls and I read books, played outside, played dogs and lions, and watched movies. Later, Jill, the girls, and I went shoe shopping, stopped by Party City, and then ate a place called Noodles. The girls fell asleep in the car on the way home, so the Saturday night baths will be waiitng until Sunday morning now.
You know, Mickey-shaped pretzels or anything else just tastes better, doesn't it?
Happy double digits !!!
I love your "weekends til you go" count....makes your trip seem so close! and not much of the school year is left either.
Checked mine...62 sleeps....but just 8 weekends!!!
I must have missed something...didn't know you were headed to Huntsville.
Have a wonderful visit with everyone! I'm sure Brooklynn & Bella will be very happy to see you.
I am sooo happy that the values are getting fridges!!! Something to look forward to.
Tink9721 I'm sending you a hug for those coming home blues.
Your secret is safe with us. I think all of us start thinking/planning the next trip right after we get home.
And I agree with the ladies, anything with Mickey on it is better.
Have a great weekend all!
I like counting by weeks. The numbers are never too high, and sometimes weeks can fly by.
My girls and I loved looking through all of the Pop pictures. The made me stop on each treat picture, deciding what they would pick if they were right there.

I LOVE the feeling of Pop! So fun! You capture that so well in your pictures, MeMom.
You are very kind. You know one of my favorire Disney treats? The white chocolate-covered pretzels. Yummy!
I can't wait for Sept. and Mickey treats. I would like one of everything please.
I hope you are having fun, fun, fun in Ala. today with the girls.
We had a very nice day together. I get to see them three weekends in a row, too.
Hi MeMom and family !! I know I have been missing in action lately! So much going on lately!!! Well, I will try to pick up here, go back to see some previous posts, but I am definitely on board for a count down!! I am at 103!! I forget how fun a count down is when you get to do it with others!!!
We'll double digit dance for you soon!
Hey MeMom, bc I know you'll appreciate this, there is hope for my boys yet... Guess what movie they decided we had to watch tonight? A BUG'S LIFE!!!! We have not seen this one in forever!!! Should be fun!
Of course they can't wait to see John Carter, but that is the plan for next weekend. We are heading to the Baltimore Aquarium and the Harbor tomorrow!
Hope Jill is feeling good?
It's been a while since I've seen Bug's Life, too. I just bought a couple of new/old Disney Sing Along DVD's for the girls. They love the Beach Party one.
Have fun at the aquarium! I don't think John Carter is for us, but we're very excited about seeing Chimpanzee!
Jill is feeling very well. She is just tired at the end of a long day, of course. I wish I lived close enough to help her out with making dinners, cleaning up at then end of the day, and giving baths. By the time she gets home, she's readyy to put her feet up and just do nothing! She said she thinks she's going to treat herself to a pedicure and foot massage every once in a while throughout the pregnancy.
I am always singing and dancing to that. Must look funny to others in the car or when I am running.
I am at 102
You know there are cars full of teenagers getting a huge laugh out of our coolness, right?
