Hi ladies- I am having 6 girlfriends over the Saturday of memorial day to scrap for about 6 hours. I was planning on a ladies tea idea- what kind of things could I prepare for lunch and how should I set things up? I have a large living room I can set tables up in- Help Help Help! How can I make it nice? Has anyone been to a crop where they had it set up real clever? Any and all feedback is appreciated

When I have gone to crops - It was just set up buffet style - All the ladies will eat at different times - You might be in the middle of a layout and don't want to stop -

Of course, there were snacks on the crop tables so we could munch right along with cropping -

Where I have gone, they just make a really good chicken casserole dish, salad, bread, drinks, and maybe some dessert - nothing fancy, but the food was really good -

Don't know if it helps, but just some info for you -

this doesn't really fit to a "Lady's Tea' But went over really well at our last crop. Our host went with a Mexican theme. She had the fixings for tacos, chips and salsa for snacking. It worked out really well. I would agree on just setting it up buffet style, so each person can eat when they are ready and no one feels like they have to sit as long as everyone else while eating.
Good Luck
