Hi Everyone!
I'm all excited. My DD and new SIL were supposed to leave for Destin this morning for their honeymoon. But because of the approaching hurricane, they decided to go to Disney. So they asked me to call CRO to see if I could get them at ASMO. I called at 7:00 am this morning and was able to get them a room for $77/night. She said she couldn't get me DC since it was the same day and all the codes have expired, but I'm just so happy I was able to get their first request!! It would be nicer if they could go moderate, but they can't afford more than the values....have too many bills (he owns 2 homes....their own plus he bought his mother a home last year which he is paying for).
My DD hasn't been in over 2 years and her DH hasn't been in 25 years. What a surprise he's in for!! I'm so excited for them that now I wish I was going (not with them....I don't think they'd want Mom there!! LOL!!). My DH wants to go for our 30th anniversary this month, but we already have ressies at the Biltmore. Now I want to change them, but we can't. My sister and her DH are going with us and he doesn't care for Disney.
But I'm just so happy for them and hope the crowds are still down and the hurricane doesn't ruin the weather for them. They left this morning, and I'm waiting for them to call to let me know they got there all right.

My DD was in FL for Spring Break and wanted to spend one night at PI. I called around for diff hotels off site, just thought disney would be too much. Ended up booking ASMO. I called when they were very close to Orlando, driving home to WI. I think it was less than 2 hours before they checked in. They had a great time, she wants to come with me when I go in Oct. but she has school and work.
