My godmother is DVC, and when we go with her we use points. I think we're looking into it- maybe in the next few years.

Our home resort is Saratoga Springs

Ooh! I'm a DVC member. When I was like 1 not even I went on my first trip to Disney and my parents already had their membership so yeah, I was born into it. My home resort..hmm. I think it's either Saratoga Springs, or Old Key West. Wow, I really don't know.

EDIT: After asking my parents at breakfast this morning we actually have two home resorts. Both the ones I named hehe.
So.

Not to get off topic- but how did you like Saratoga? The Storybook Room almost made me cry, it was so "magical".

I absolutly LOVED it. It was so big and pretty!
I think, out of my family, I loved it the most.
We stayed at "The Springs" section, and the pool was so pretty :]
Wasn't crazy about the slide, but still good, and the pool was really cool :]
The Artist's Pallet was a nice little resteraunt to come home to after the parks... nice, quick, and easy :]]

And, it was uber close to Downtown Disney, which was a plus
I'd stay there again.
Great Theme, Loved the rooms.

omg i had a dream last night that when we're going to wdw in the fall we weren't gonna stay there and i was going balistic. and my mom's like we're staying at this really crappy hotel. and i was like i'll do anything to stay at the boardwalk. haha.. i just remembered when i read the title of the thread.

my family's home resort is Saratoga Springs. I absolutely LOVE that hotel. I'm staying there again in august, im sooo excited. October of 06 we stayed here in the 'springs' section, and we had my grandparents with us so we got the grand villa and it was absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!! and huge. my sister [20 at the time] and her friend got their own room so it was just me, my mom, my dad and grandma and grandpa and it was huge. this time we're staying in the next one down or something i cant think of the name but yeah. I love how its soo close to downtown disney.

2. Saratoga is awesome. My parents didn't even buy in till our last trip, about 2 1/2 weeks ago, after renting points and staying at SSR. We loved all the space and the amentities. I wish it was next to Epcot, but oh well. We had several days where we didn't even go to the parks, we just hung out by the pool or played tennis and stuff. It was awesome.

And my parents and I used to live in Saratoga Springs, NY, though I was too little to remember, and they say that it is themed incredibly well, and they were very impressed with the details, like Avenue of the Pines, and how they are adding the pine trees there, and Broadway being the main street, and the spring at the main pool.
