All Discounts M/T/W/Th/Sat???

Currently, the best airline prices are for deals that want you to fly on any days of the week EXCEPT Friday and Sunday.....of course, our trip next December has us leaving on a Friday and returning on a Sunday!

Does anyone know if this is the common way discounts work? Should I back my trip up a day to arrive on a Thursday, depart on a Saturday so I don't get closer to next fall and then not have any discounts available to me?

It depends on the airline. It does seem, however, that Friday and Sunday can be more expensive. I would try the Thurs./Sat option if you can. You are still a long ways out until your trip--10 months--I would wait until it gets closer. I usually don't book air until 6 months or less, unless the deal is great.

Thanks! I went ahead and changed our WL reservations to a Thursday/Saturday deal....I don't plan to book airfare anytime soon, but if I wait to change the hotel reservation until later I might lose out on the WL concierge AAA rate for the dates I want. WL tends to book very early for the month of December!
