Is the all day dining at sea world worth it? We are going just 2 adults and i could eat off my husband's food but is it worth it?

Are you going to be there actually all day? Do you drink a lot of bottled water?

My husband and I always get it if we are going to be there for 2+ meals. We find between the 2 meals each, plus snacks and water, we generally come out ahead.

I'd take a look at the included restaurant's menus, then plan what you would eat, and factor in that a bottle of water is $3, see about how much you would spend. Don't forget snacks!

We love the all-day dining. We think the cost is super reasonable considering it includes unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, unlimited snacks, and some great entree choices. We also love that a "side" is not restricted to crappy desserts like the Disney plan....you can get french fries, a fruit cup, a pickle, a small salad, a muffin, cookies, cake, etc. The plan includes breakfast, so plan to arrive for park opening and you can enjoy at least 3 meals, plus drinks, plus snacks before you leave at the end of the day.

Like the PP mentioned, if you are visiting during a hotter time of the year, you can almost drink your plan value over the course of the day.

OP, I would discourage you from sharing your husband's food if he is on the dining plan. I am sure people do so, but its not permitted (and I have read recently that they will cut off your DH's wristband and refuse him any additional food or drinks if you are caught sharing and have not both purchased the all-day dining). Maybe I am misreading your original post, but that is what it sounded like you were suggesting.

My advice? Get the plan, and you won't be disappointed. Come hungry, eat your fill, try some of their great dishes (we specifically love Voyageurs and SeaFire Inn) and be sure to maximize the value by enjoying the offerings from breakfast right through until you leave.

And....avoid the Terrace Garden Buffet as there are much better places to eat in the park.

I am so excited about all day dining!

We'll be there 5/11. What should we plan for breakfast ?

Check your park map on the day of your visit. Breakfast will only be served at one location (I think its usually Voyageurs or SeaFire Inn....that seems to be what most folks report). When we last had the all day dining, breakky was at Voyageurs.

I love their French toast sticks.......they are my faves, hands down. My carnivores...ahem, I mean guys...go for the breakfast meat (surprise, surprise) with the traditional accompaniments (breakfast potatoes, eggs, etc.). SW also has the BIGGEST muffins you have ever seen, and they are considered a "side" so you can get them in addition your breakfast platter and drink on the same trip through the line. They're huge. Oh so big!

The all day dining plan is a saviour for us. My fellows are major water drinkers, and its so nice to get a cold bottle of water whenever they feel like it without constantly whipping out our wallet, having to ask for a free cup of ice water at a counter service, or worst of all, feeling like you should refill your bottle from the tap in one of the bathrooms :crazy2: to conserve cash. Add in the fact that they also have voracious appetites and the dining is a no-brainer for us. We love the fact that we're not limited to burgers, fries and chocolate cake (yet those theme park standards are available, too). Definitely a great value for our family.

There is only one place that serves breakfast. When I went it was SeaFire Inn and they had eggs, bacon, french toast, and maybe one other item as the main options. Then I think there was secondary items of hash browns or breakfast potatoes and some type of muffin.

wow guys thanks! We will probably be there park open to park close then head over to disney. Are there any recommended places to eat on the all day dining?

I usually hit them all. ;-) You can view some of the menus on the SeaWorld website.

We had the deal during our visit in January and though we got our money's worth it was such a pain to go into the restaurants because the lines were so so long. Much preferred using our refillable sea world mugs and eat just what we wanted from the outside carts.

We love the All Day Dining. For one of my snacks, I got strawberries with chocolate dip and the bowl of strawberries was huge!

If you will be there for both lunch and dinner, you'll come out a few dollars ahead with this I would think. Big eaters would do even better. // When not to get it: If you are doing a Dine with Shamu meal or eating at a special restaurant like the Shark's reef // Or if you are just doing a partial day at the park and will be leaving the park for dinner

If you have AAA they have an internet deal for I believe $89pp with all day dining included ($356 for a family of 4).... for that same deal online with SeaWorld.com it is $440.

The difference was $7pp to include the dining so no brainer for this family of 4.

We like the bbq for lunch or supper, and have been a fan of Mango Joe's the last couple times.

How long do they usually serve breakfast? I'll be there on 7/4, but we are scheduled for the rescue tour that starts at 9am, so I'm wondering if breakfast will still be available when we are done with our tour?

Where do you get the snacks and bottle water? I'm only seeing six places and they are all restaurants with meals.

The lines were so long when we used ours it was terrible. It made the trip miserable because we had planned to do 3 meals but everyone was so excited to do the park no one wanted breakfast at opening and then everyone was starving before the other restaurants opened for lunch. The lines made is hard to grab another soda or water for the road after finishing our meals. I wanted in the Mango Joe line for 30 minutes for some cookies and milk. We were there several days and on some days just did our refillable mugs which everyone agreed was far easier and quicker. It was cool that they would let us fill our mugs for free (only in the dining deal restaurants) on the days we had the dining deal too. It was too busy to typically duck into a restaurant quickly to fill our mugs so we'd still pay out of pocket. If I could get it at a reasonable price I would buy the dining deal again but, please, take time to plan/think through your days.

Snacks and bottled waters are available at the restaurants, same as the meals. We have on occasion waited 15 minutes or so, that was over 4th of July once and Christmas day the other time, we've not seen excessively long lines, though.

I agree about the wait times. We went for new yrs eve once and the lines were not bad. I always find going to seaport pizza for snacks or drinks is a bit faster. Since they dont have a huge selection oof entree items (only personal pizzas) the line goes much faster and quicker.

This is a tough call. With our family, we're usually at any given theme park from 9 or 10 til about 4. So we've never gotten the all day dining. We eat breakfast bars in the room, hit the park hard til lunchtime, fill up, and leave in the late afternoon. This summer at Sea World we hit Mango Joe's for lunch. I just ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, no sides. The chicken was HUGE, like 10, maybe 12 oz. We have season passes to Busch Gardens back home here in Virginia, and find the portions to be really big too. So we eat lunch and are generally too full to eat dinner, even if we stay late. Now if I'd had something lighter like a salad, I'd probably eat dinner too.
