Cant hold it in anymore!

Just finished booking the last few touches to are trip in may, also booked "Discovery Cove" and "Marine Mammal Keeper Experiance" for seaworld so even more to be excited about!

Anywho, what do you tend to do when planning, get there and do day by day or book months in advance and get excited? :goodvibes

Sounds great :) :cheer2:

What is the "Marine Mammal Keeper Experience" - I've never heard of it before :)

:wizard:

Hiya, Here's a description of "Marine Mammal Keeper Experiance" from the Sea World website:

The ultimate animal career adventure! Get a real-life look at what it takes to care for SeaWorld animals. Experience the thrill of working alongside marine mammal experts and coming face-to-face with marine life. Get your hands wet as you prepare special diets and assist our Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Team as they care for endangered manatees. Work side-by-side with our animal care specialists as they care for and interact with dolphins, beluga whales, sea lions and walruses.

Up to three guests per day, age 13 and older, can participate in the "Marine Mammal Keeper Experience" The program begins at 6:30 a.m. and includes lunch, a T-shirt, a career book and a seven-day pass to SeaWorld. Cost is $399 per person including tax.

Reservations for the "Marine Mammal Keeper Experience" can be made by calling 1-800-327-2424 or by visiting the SeaWorld Behind-the-Scenes Tour counter inside the park.

I've heard some great reviews, of the few that have gone and preferred it over "Discovery Cove" and would even do it again, Hole in my wallet but im sure its going to be worth it even if we dont do "Trainer For A Day" again ( at Discovery Cove ).

Just a quick tip, Because its only 3 guests per day with the "Marine Mammal Keeper Experiance" it sells out quick, I had to work around the chosen date as they only had certain dates, even those its around 5 months ahead, whereas discovery cove "Trainer For A Day", booked that a few hours ago and no problem with dates! :)
I will be sure to wite a trip report with pictures after ive been because only around 1000 people a year ever get to do it, or less!

Sounds like a really great experience, I am sure you are going to have a fantastic time. Sea World is one of my favourtie parks and I can't imagine going to Orlando and not visiting it. Discovery Cove was a fantastic experience I would love to do again.

Quick question , What happens if it rains? :goodvibes

Rain is okay but we had a thunder storm about 3pm so we left, I am not sure about whether it closed or not I suppose it depends on the storm.

Sounds fantastic :) Bet you are really excited now :teeth:

How exciting Shane, it sounds like your going to have lots of fun :)
