Just wanted to let everyone know stayed at hrh for first time for one night end of april, just really to get express pass for line. Had an excellent experience. Staff really helpful and friendly. Any way on advice from this forum purchased all acess card for $20 hoping to get up graded for free to a garden view room. Checked in at 10.00am in morning hoping for a garden view room and was upgraded 3 levels to deluxe queen bed suite for free, as well as recieving free pin. And to top it all of room was ready and were able to go straight to room before heading to parks. So if you staying at hrh definately worth getting the all access card.

just wondering, is the card lifetime or do u have to pay annually to renew?

since they don't participate in youfirst, ive stayed @ the other two resorts, figure eventually they'll boot me back to blue & i'll revisit;)

Did you have the card when you booked? How did you link it to your ressie? We've already booked but I'm thinking of getting this.

You don't need it when you book. Just show it to the reservationist at the desk when you check in. It is also great to have it at the Hard Rock Cafe. You get priority seating...it really comes in handy when there is an hour wait...you get to go ahead of the line. Totally worth it!

No one answered if its a onetime fee or do you have to pay it every year. Also what are the perks-just FOTL for the restarant and the chance of an upgrade or are there other perks????

Here is some information I found when I went out to the webpage

•If Cardholder does not use the card in association with a purchase from one of the above listed Cafes for a period of twenty-four (24) months, the membership will be declared inactive. If cardholder does not notify Hard Rock Cafe Customer Care within 60 days of the mailing date of the initial cancellation/inactive notice, the inactive card will be terminated. All Access benefits will end and be forfeited upon this termination. It is the Cardholder’s responsibility to notify Hard Rock Cafe if the Cardholder’s contact information changes.

I didn't see anything on there about having to renew it, if you stop using it then you lose it. ;) Kinda like some other hotel programs....found out hard way with the program through the Hilton :scared1:

If you go out to the website you will see there are also other perks. When you get one you will get $20 to use toward purchase of food, merchandise at participating cafes, you get a limited edition pin (I know some people love these things).

There are a few more like discounts online and access to special events, etc.

There is also a list of participating sites as well....there was a note that the Seminole sites do not except this unless othewise stated. Such as the one in Tampa has 10% off rooms.

Hope that helps answer some of your questions.

Is it really that hard to click on the link?

Is it really that hard to click on the link?

slap me silly & call me stupid but i didn't see anything stated on the link posted as to length of membership:confused3

i did continue clicking thru the site as to purchasing membership & found it buried in 2 pages of fine print along with proviso as to only certain Hard Rock Hotels participating (don't see Vegas or FLL locations) & potential black out dates (wonder where those are posted?) & the Orlando Club Level & Suites being excluded. here's the verbage jik anybody's interested;)

Hotel room upgrades are subject to availability at time of hotel check-in and are applicable at the Hard Rock Bali, Orlando, Macau, Pattaya, and Penang Hotel locations. Hotel upgrades are subject to blackout periods and not available in conjunction with other discounts and promotions. All Access members must provide All Access membership information and request an upgrade at hotel check-in. Where applicable, upgrades are limited to the next category of room booked. Upgrades are not available on Club Level rooms and suites at the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando.

I notice you're from the UK, can I ask how you got your pass - did you wait until you got to Fl and go pick one up, or did you order it online for delivery to your home?

in answer to your questions:
as far as i am aware you do not have to renew the card but you have to use the balance that comes with the card within 24 months

didn't have card when i booked, got it after. just showed it when i checked in and was as simple as that.

yes i am from uk joined and took a couple of weeks to come. also got a free bag and pin as well as the card

used the card to purchase a t-shirt from hard rock cafe as i thought you got $20 credit to use in eith the shop or cafe. Was pleasently suprised to discover there was $30 on my card. not sure if there was suppose to be as the website said $20 but hey ill take it. lol. You can use to get to front of the line at hard rock cafe but i had already booked a table so didn't need to.
hope this helps

I'm also from the UK, if you find yourself in London or Manchester before your visit to Florida then go in to the cafe and you can purchase the card there in person. I can't remember the exact cost I think it was around the £15 mark. I've been a member since 2002, unfortunatley in 2004 I lost my card, and the next time I was in London they had an offer on when you spent so much in the store you could get an all access card for £5 (although this offer excluded the membership pin - but I already had one so wasn't that bothered) so look out for similar deals

It is a great benefit scheme, I went to NY a couple of years ago and there was a big convention in town. I was told on walking I'm looking at least a two hour wait - I showed them all access card and that became 2 minutes. Another time I was in London 2 days before Christmas, couldn't get in anywhere. I suggested going there and although there was a wait that time, we were seated within 15 minutes which was incredible without booking for the time of year.

Plus when you spend on the card you build up points. When you've earned enough points (sorry can't remember the exact numbers) you get a $20 credit onto your card to spend on whatever you want. On top of the credit they give you for a 'drink' on your birthday, you also get a free ice cream when you eat there on your bday too - (or least you used to...although they could of just been extra nice because it was my 21st)

We have an all Access card, it was sent through the post to us. We didn't have to pay for it.

We are friendly with a manager at the HRH and I think she sent it to us.

The strange thing is that at the Hard Rock Cafe in London at the end of our meal I handed the card over and was asked how I got this card, we got a 25% discount on the meal.

Is HRC still in Nottingham? If so, could we buy one there?

Nottingham's Hard Rock is now closed, I think only London and Manchester are left in England.

You can order the card online

I think there are different levels of membership, I have posted about this before, as some people got different perks of membership.
