Week 39 at RIV is points positive when using the fixed week any year there are at least two days in October at the end of the week because when they updated the FW points on 2023 it was a rare occurrenceof the entire week falling in September. I'm also not expecting better than 164/pt with the current incentives but can at least update to summer pricing if DVD surprises me with a summer fire sale on RIV. Very happy with my purchase and locking in DVC-Y. Any future addonitis will likely be resale.

This may be outdated by now but I don’t think there were any point chart changes this year?

They didn't update FW charts since 2023 because there weren't changes to the points charts in 2024 or 2025. The 2023 chart is the latest and greatest.

I should add to my previous post that there are a couple weeks that are currently cheaper as a FW even with the 10% increase than using points because of how the week fell in 2023 with Week 1 falling on 1/1/23. Week 7 and week 39 are examples that have been noted in various threads as weeks that straddle higher point periods most years.

Curious too since my resale is a 153 contract.. Im like hmmm is this fixed week and nobody realized it?

FW started with Aulani, I believe so no…probably someone buying the exact points needed for a single week at that moment in time.

Is there a place you can see your fixed week notation in the contract on the DVC website? Or do you just have to remember which contract is for a fixed week lol

My contracts for fixed weeks included a deed section that started around page 41/42 and explicitly listed my fixed week by number in a section on the page titled “THE OWNERSHIP INTEREST INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING FIXED USE RIGHT:” (yes, in all caps). These are my first contracts with DVC so I saved them during the DocuSign process. I’m not sure where I go on the DVC site to view the contracts.
