I think I have some extras to use for latecomers for the FE. Can't promise everything but have at least a little something!

Speaking of the FE, I think I am doing one larger cabin gift and then something smaller per person. I don't think we really specified so I hope that's okay.

Trying not to take up too much of the luggage!

I think we left it up to the individual. Whatever anyone decides to do is fine.

Sorry I've STILL been so quiet on here! Sheesh! We are super excited. Been busy trying to get everything accomplished around here that needs to be done so I can get going on trip stuff. Have a few things for the fish extenders but need to get those finished off. We are really excited to participate! LKFan, I'm hoping you will give us a run down of the "meets" closer to the time as I'm sure I have missed things going back through the thread. We are fairly open to anything and would love to meet some of you. I want to do a better job of meeting people this cruise as on our first one, we really kept to ourselves. Wow...I think I am in shock that it is really this close. We board the plane in 22 days! I need to get a move on!!

Wow, neat coincidence we fly out 22 days from today as well. 2 days in DL and then we all set sail.

Technically I told my son our vacation begins 3 weeks from today because we will be staying in an airport hotel on the Wednesday night before our early flight on Thursday. He vehemently disagreed with me because he still has to go to school on Wednesday.

LOL - my kids are taking exactly the same position! Our flight is around 8PM on Wednesday, but that day "doesn't count" because they have to go to a full day of school.

Is anyone else going to DL before the cruise? We haven't figured out our plans yet, but I know we can't spend 3 full days just sitting at my in-laws house! My youngest is really pushing for DL - I don't think he was born the last time we went (we usually go to Knott's Berry Farm on our LA visits).

I was driving DD14 to the dance school at 4:45 and a plane flew over (we live near our local airport) and she pointed out that it could be our exact flight 3 weeks from today! Luckily, we are so close that they can go to a full day of school and still make a 4:45 pm flight!

We will spend the nights of the 15th-18th at GCH.

My DH is my most fickle client. I booked 9C gty as it was the cheapest option with the KSF offer. All along, we have discussed this. I have explained many times over that technically, only two of our kids are sailing free. He asked about our usual arrangement of a balcony across from an inside, but at the time I booked, it couldn't work out to do a quad balcony across from a double inside and get KSF on the balcony. He is the one to complain about the vacation price. Now, three weeks out, he *needs* a balcony. I checked the pricing. I could get adjoining 6As. Gave him the total and thought he would but he decided it was worth it. Who are you, and what did you do with my husband??? Not complaining! Have to update the spreadsheet

Can't believe we are getting so close to sailing. Sorry I have not been active, it is my crazy busy time at work. I will be ready for a vacation!

Starting to work on FE. Excursions and Palo are booked. We are doing Las Caletas in PV, looks like we have quite a few people going on that excursion. We are doing Palo Dinner on Wednesday and brunch on Saturday. Very excited for brunch, we only did dinner on our last cruise.

The kids still have no idea we are going on a cruise. We have not decided how to spring it on them yet. We are thinking of driving down to Universal Studios on Saturday as they have never been there and then telling them Sunday morning. I am not sure if they would notice the massive amounts of luggage in the car.

Can't wait to meet everyone. We are up for the meet and greets.

One question for those who have done this cruise before. We did the on-line check in and received a port arrival time of 1:00. Does this mean we can't get there earlier or is it just a suggestion. When we sailed out of PC we got there really early and had a pretty early boarding card which was really nice.

Ok, ok, time to focus again. Now that I've secured 2013 Med. it's back to Mexico again. Think Mexico! Europe is 18 months away and the start of my next trip is only 18 days away. Yes Mexico remember Mexico.....sorry just thinking out loud.

We had a 11:30 check in at Christmas, but were ushered to the check in as soon as we got there and were checked in at 10:30.

I'm on another facebook group for my June cruise, and find that it is a much easier way to communicate, and it helps to be able to see each other's faces (if you have a profile pic) so we'll have an easier time recognizing each other and putting names to faces.

Not different at all, but for those of us on facebook, it makes checking messages easier as we get closer to the cruise, and as I said, it's nice to see pictures of each other to make connecting on the cruise easier. It's not to take the place of this, just to supplement it.
