All Aboard my 11 day trip report!Choo-choo!6/27-7/9 updated7/24 great pics

I keep hearing great things about the Wave, but the menu makes me a little nervous to try it! I'm such a baby! :lmao:

6/29 Dinner at The Wave-I had never been on the dining plan and had never been inside the Contemp. Resort! We arrived at The Wave for our 5:30 ressie. Was not even 1/2 full at that time.Dim lighting and nice atmosphere.I ordered a berry smoothie(included in plan as a drink) and it was delicious!Got the little one the special drink with the glowing Tinkerbelle.Cute toy and she loved it.Cost=$5.I ordered the beef tenderloin and it was amazing!!I also had the creamy indulgence dessert.Their desserts are 3 small 'sample' sizes and you get 3 different desserts to enjoy. They were all great.Service was excellent and we all loved it!Once full we left the car parked there and took monorail over to MK for some fun.Did the monster's laugh floor-which we all loved!Even the 4 yr old cracked up!Rode pirates again and the jungle cruise-which we had fastpasses for. Also rode Small world again-she Chloe loved it.By 7:50 we went and found our spot in front of the castle for the fireworks and light parade.Chloe had never seen Tink fly so we wanted a good seat for that! When we arrived on Main St it was almost full!!Can't believe they are lining up earlier and earlier every year!Found one of the last spots to be had in the circle in front of the castle. The fireworks were amazing and Chloe loved when Tink flew!!Parade was great too!The floats are GORGEOUS!Now we are off to bed! DHS tomorrow...

Great pics of the Amtrak train ride down. That is interesting - may be fun to do when the kids are a bit older ...

6/30 We arrived at DHS around 10:30 and headed right over to Pixar place.I expected to find a huge mob-but didn't!I walked right up to a fastpass machine and got us tickets to ride later. The wait was at 35 minutes. We had fun taking pictures in the area with the barrel of monkeys and stuff. We then headed over to the Muppet theater(our fav!) for a great 4D movie. We are huge fans of the muppets and love this show!I would definitely saw this is a must do!The muppet store is great too! Be sure to enjoy the Muppet fountain as well. We then headed for Main st area and went on the Great movie ride!We all loved it! The 4 yr old was LOVING munchkin land!A nice ride-and a cool break from the heat!We had lunch ressies at 50's prime Time, which we loved on our last visit! It was just as fun and delish!I had the meatloaf and it was great.I think you get a lot of food for you money here!Luckily, we were given a 'kitchen table' and we were told to set the table when we were seated. The restaurant is like a show when the waiters and waitresses start their 'routines' with the tables.we laugh we some diner get their food flying towards them on their fork with airplane noises from the crowd!A teen at the next table did something and had to stand in the corner for a minute! All in good fun!Desserts here a huge too!Great with the dining plan!
Once full we headed out to enjoy the park.We did the Backlot tour, the Little mermaid show and the Beauty and the beast show. The 4 yr old LOVED the Beauty and the Beast show! Costumes were very pretty and colorful and it is a nice rest from the walking in the sun.Ditto for the mermaid show. The backlot tour is fun for all ages.TIP-When you exit be alert to find the photo area with Monster's Inc characters(we almost missed it!) we got some fun pics with Mike and Sulley!Unless you are huge Narnia fans(which we are) you can probably skip the Journey to Narnia.Just a short movie type show.the best part is the stone table in the room with you! we took some pics of us in front of it.Also at the exit are some costumes from the movie.
Toy Story Mania is GREAT!We went back with our fastpasses and all enjoyed the ride! The 4 yr old was old enough to enjoy it as much as we did! very impressive and fun.Having said that, I would not have waited for the 70 minutes in the standby line!fastpasses or first thing in the morning are the only way to go!
We wondered around a few stores and then decided to head out and go back to the hotel for dinner and a swim.
Dinner at Carr beach-counter service we enjoyed the food court area here very much.2 of us had burgers, the little one had spaghetti and meatballs, and the hubby had a nice(and large) turkey dinner with all the fixins! Not bad for counter service! We ate it in our room since we were showering and wanted to lounge around a bit.Nice and restful dinner!
Now off to Target!Headed to the busy main drag of Irlo Bronson to the Target superstore.Loved it!The have a large Disney section, and the prices are great! got minnie ears for the kids-$4.99 each! got postcards(.25) and magnets for friends for $2 each. Some kid shirts for $7 and nice frames for $7.99.Then headed to grocery area for instant oatmeal, single OJs,milk, case of water and snacks.Worth the trip to save some moolah!:yay:

Walked through to World showcase and headed left-in search of Mulan!
China-Mulan was waiting for us right near the entrance of China, and only had 2 kids in line! Our little one was thrilled to meet her-and I had pic with er as well(since she is my fav!) China has some beautiful photo spots so be sure to spend a little time here.
We then continued on to Germanyto watch the model railroad for a bit!My hubby LOVES this and always wants to linger here!Restrooms are located right near it so if ya have to go... My older daughter and I visited the shops while the hubby and Chloe watched the train.Since we had the noon ressies I tried to keep us moving along.
We walked straight to france to have lunch.the kids were looking forward to seeing their 'movie chef' rat! This meal was delish and the atmosphere was lovely!About 1/2 way through our meal remy was making the rounds.he stayed at each table for a few minutes and posed for pictures. The man who escorts him is a riot!Kids loved it!
After lunch we continued around the lagoon towards Future World for Soarin.
Soarin is AMAZING!Lots of oohs and ahhs here! All of us loved it.The little one thought she was flying!A MUST DO!!!
