ALK Value vs. Standard

What is the difference between a 1 bdrm Value room and a 1 bdrm Standard room at AKL? Anyone seen or stayed at both?

Also do all 1 bdrm rooms at Jambo have 2 bathrooms?

I THINK the difference is that the value rooms are smaller than the standard and also the value only holds 4 people, no room for the sleeper chair. Also, all of the 1 bedrooms in Jambo only have 1 bathroom, with a combo shower/whirlpool, which is rather high and can be hard to climb into, IMO.

So the 1 Bdrm at BLT is the only one that has 2 bathrooms?

Weird - I could have sworn that on the tour of the sample 1 Bdrm for AKL (at SSR) that it had 2 full bathrooms...although I was quite ovrwhelmed by the time he took me on the tour...

The value rooms are 3 ft. shorter that the other rooms. The other thing is that the value rooms have 3 views you can request, savanna, pool, or parking lot. Everthing else pp stated is also correct. Kidani has 2 bathrooms in the 1 bdrms, not Jambo.

all the 1 bedrooms at Kidani have two bathrooms, just at Jambo where they only have 1.

I don't believe there are any 1 bedroom value at kidani. I think they are only at jambo.

No value rooms at Kidani. Jambo has concierge, savanna, standard, and value. Kidani has savanna and standard.

Guess I'll stick ot my original plan of a 1 bdrm at BVW - I was hoping for 2 bathrooms as we are bringing my future mother and father in law on the trip - but we'll all just have to share a bathroom It's still better than sharing a POP Century room

I have considered our "home" resort of BLT for the bathroom situation as well, but I want to save the points for us to enjoy a bit of our Disneymoon as well once the family have left for what promises to be a hectic wedding week!! Plus I think it will make our first stay at BLT a bit more special if it's just the 2 of us!

There are no value rooms at Kidani, they are only at Jambo.

Can you really request one of those views for a value? This will be our first time staying at a value studio(actually any studio) and I just thought you get what you get, since it is a value.

That's great. Yes I understand nothing is guarenteed but I thought we would just be looking at the parking lot. Which is still fine for me, because even though DH wants to see the animals from our room my kids are afraid that the giraffes are going to come into our hotel room.
